in my heart the killjoys are celebrating right now by cranking the radio up loud by the fireside, getting drunk with the alcohol supply they save for special occasions, and tagging the walls of the gas station with the stupidest shit while their laughter echoes across the desert night. they're living to see the sun rise for at least one more day. death will look away for a blink of eternity. everything is okay

Fiction Pulp Fiction Department:
Thanks to a combination of a low print run and poor distribution, the second issue of the Cobblestone John Press magazine Tales of Deadly Peril (December 1928) was barely seen on newstands and magazine racks. This is a shame, because it included a humdinger of a supernatural adventure by prolific Pulp scribe Somerset Quince, in which he pitted his wily amateur occult detective Docteur Filibert De La Fontaine (and his sidekick Nurse von Branch) against a colony of pitiless ghouls nesting beneath a mausoleum in Blue Hill Cemetery. You'd probably love to get your hands on this classic, but the bad news is that it only exists in another dimension and you can't get there from here.
