The new nurse puppet

You were anxious

It's not like you're not prepared, it's just... Anxiety, you know?

You were the new animatronic puppet at the Mega PizzaPlex. Your design was highly based on your older models, probably because of the nostalgia.

Your job is to be a therapist, nurse and an attraction (like everyone else), so you were tested a lot of times (perhaps more than the normal amount)... But now you're here, in your new room, alone.

The room was really comfy, having nice colors that won't hurt the eyes of the little ones, a bed where they could rest and an dress room with a bathroom.

The little place also had first aid kits, candy and everything that the management thought would be necessary. The wall next to your huge gift box (which apparently was your bed) had some drawings made by the children who helped with the tests.

And then you heard a knock on the door.

"You may come in" you said, and so, the door was open, revelling a little girl with a guy from the human staff.

"Hey, Puppet, your first patient of the day is here" he said, apparently really tired.

"Oh dear, what should be the problem, little one?" You asked, in a gentle voice and slowly getting out of your gift box so you wouldn't fright the little girl.

"I... I fell..." The kid answered.

"And I suppose you got hurt. Where should I apply a bandage?" You asked, looking at her with a calm expression. She pointed at her knee and you just nodded, already grabbing the med kit as she sits on a small chair.

"Alright, let's see..." You looked at her knee, analyzing the wound. It was just a scratch, unfortunately it was bleeding a little.

"This will hurt a little bit, okay? But I'll be quick and gentle, I promise" you said with a reassuring voice and face, the girl only nodded, closing her eyes. And so, you cleaned her wound and put a bandage on it.

"There we go" you smiled and grabbed a candy, giving it to her when she opened her eyes.

"You were really brave" you said in a happy tone while petting her head.

As the two of them left, the little girl smiled while waving at you, which you returned, and again, the room was quiet.

'This wasn't that bad, huh?' you thought, with a little smile.

As the day passes, you greeted a lot of children and even some grownups with some little injuries and stress. And then, the PizzaPlex closed. With a little smile, you stretched (even not being necessary) and started putting the things back in place.

As you finished it, you heard a little knock on the door, making you confused.

'But we're closed right now' you thought, and hesitantly opened the door while saying "my sincerest apologies, we're clos-"

It was the Glamrock band, what were they doing here? A lot of the kids talked about them, but you've never seen them in person.

"Huh? They were right, there is a new animatronic here" Monty said, followed by Roxy's "yeah, congrats Sherlock".

People have been talking about you? Thinking about that made you nervous.

"Ooh! Such a cute outfit!" Chica said while approaching you with a big smile "I'm Chica! That one is Monty, she is Roxy and he's Freddy!" She says while pointing at them.

"It's a pleasure to meet you guys, I'm called Puppet or Marionette" you said calmly while looking at them with a soft smile. Chica's eyes looked like they were sparkling, Monty and Roxy started paying too much attention to you.

Oh dear... Did you do something wrong?

"They were right! Your voice is so relaxing!" The Fazbear himself said with a big smile, making you get kinda... Flustered?

Wait, there's something wrong. Perhaps is your programing?

While you were trying to understand what your code was saying to you, Freddy gave you a concerned look.

"Mx. Puppet, are you okay?" He asked, worried. Noticing your silly thoughts made you silent, you quickly nod.

"My sincerest apologies, Mr. Fazbear. I didn't want to worry you" You said calmly, trying to keep your own confusing thoughts to yourself. The gang gave you an odd look. Oh no, you screwed up. Quick, think something!

"I was only doing a little check up in my database, everything's okay" you said in a reassuring voice. Apparently they believed... Well, except Freddy.

"Don't scary us like that, runt" Monty says, chuckling. Chica just tells him to not be rude.

You only smiled at their silly discussion, until Roxy says something you didn't expected to hear.

"Hey, how about you come with us?" You thought for a moment, until Monty says "can you even walk? Like, this entire time you've only been in this dang rope."

Oh dear.

The rope.

"Um... I can't really walk... I can move my entire body, but walk is a bit complicated. Management don't think it's necessary for me" you said, calmly but a bit embarrassed. 'I hope they're not disappointed about it or something...' you thought.

"I can carry you! We could also put you in a cart!" Chica says, excited. You chuckled at her ideas. They weren't that bad actually.

"I'm happy to know you guys would enjoy my company. However, it's my first day here. I think I'll have to wait a little bit to ask management if I can leave this room" you said, already seeing their little sad faces. You felt guilty, but there's nothing you can do-

"I can speak with management" Freddy said, quickly making the others have little sparkles in their eyes. You were surprised and even... Happy? Although, you didn't want to give the bear too much work...

"Don't worry, Mr. Fazbear, I don't to give you all too much work" you say, a bit anxious. You didn't wanted to give so much work to them, even if you wanted to be able to hang out with them. You're just starting, you don't want to ruin everything already.

"Oh, hun... It'll be no biggie!" Chica said with a smile, followed by Freddy "exactly! No need to be so anxious, superstar." You gave them a genuine smile and just nodded.

A redesign of a FNaF OC of mine; my interpretation of Glamrock Marionette Their [Toyhouse Profile] if you’re curious :3

Glamrock Marionette is coloured! Below the cut are some design notes, small lore info + her prototype predecessor (The Puppeteer)

Pronouns: she/they/it (can be randomly used, staff usually just choose one)

Bare endo legs since she's usually stuck in the prize corner box (only able to leave it when a staff member lets her out)

The pins change around so it's never really the same 3 (she usually trades them with kids, staff or other animatronics)

She speaks in music notes (so technically is nonverbal)

Extendable arms for grabbing high-up prizes

Her torso opens (stores tickets, candies, etc)

The star buttons are actually speakers

Glows in the dark!

There's a bell in the puffball

The candies she carries are Prize-Surprise Candies; hard candies with a juicy center that come in three flavours (Apricot, Grapefruit or Papaya)

Her Fizzy Faz flavour is watermelon! (unsurprising)

Her and Moon seem to get along just fine, but Sun... doesn't really like her (to her dismay)

Before her tho was The Puppeteer, aka the main reason Sun avoids her

To sum up the text for those who can't read it:

The Puppeteer was a MASSIVE (14ft 5) animatronic that just sat in the story corner of Superstar Daycare. She told stories and entertained kids with puppets that plugged into her retractable tentacle-like cords.

She, to put it lightly, was a control freak and prone to jealousy. She'd avoid Moon at night by hiding in the ceilings after closing time and would belittle Sun when kids couldn't hear.

The incident in question was when a parent arrived to pick up two kids, but they weren't on the pick-up list. The Daycare Attendant (following protocol) refused to let them be taken without proof of the pick-up pass. Things quickly got violent with the parent throwing things.

The Puppeteer, not having the same protocol as Sun (given she wasn't permitted to hand off kids) eventually got fed up and straight up YOINKED the kids away from Sun and tried to hand them over to the parent to stop the tantrum they were throwing.

The situation ended with the kids having bruises, Security removing the parent from the Pizza Plex, Sun being heavily damaged and The Puppeteer being decommissioned.
