My caprikid redesign. Everyone voted to keep the fur so I extended it into a vest though I also made a version where it stayed the same.

Turns out that I actually didn’t full dislike his design as much as I originally thought I just really hated his horns. While I know some goats have horns like that they reminded me more of gazelle or antelope horns than goat horns. They were also so tall sticking out of his head they looked kinda goofy. So I changed his horns to shorter straighter horns like on most common goats.

I added two more colors to his color scheme a darker gray and a beige. I gave him cloven hoof details on his boots and gave him some little goat ears. I wanted it to read more clearly as goat. I also updated his mask a lot. I tried to give it the same marking patterns as many goats and I like it a lot more. I also changed the color on his paint brush handle since that brown was not anywhere else in his color palette.

Finally I gave him I white patch in his hair. Don’t know how I feel about it, maybe I should have kept it solid red but I thought it might be fun idk.

Anyway who should I redesign next?

Orange RB, to match his canon design/ Orikko. I personally dont enjoy the colour scheme.

Pass one of the redraw.

RBs mask changed, to make them more expressive. The kneepad was removed to make him more balanced. CKs hair roots were changed from white to black so his mask stands out more.

The old designs! whats changed besides my style?

CK: Boot detail, zip added. Removed one of his braids, altered belt and holster.

RB: More detail added, side of hair shaved, removed quiver (idk magic arrows are cooler probably), knee pad removed, shoulder pads altered, mask changed.

Final thoughts: Im unsure which mask i prefer for rooster bold but regarding Marcs character, hed probably choose the eye mask. Also I often prefer to give Nathaniels designs a cape, akin to classic super heros, but i coildnt get it tp translarw very well with the theme so sadly, im not very happy with his design.

So remembered an animatic that said every Ladybug holder was destined to abandon their Black Cat and they'd never see each other again. So I quickly threw together a set of curses for all the Chinese Box.

Ladybug - They are destined to always die alone with their goals unaccomplished

Black Cat - They are fated to always be abandoned by the person they hold closest

Fox - They are fated to always destroy the person they love most

Turtle - When it counts most they won’t be able to protect those they hold most dear

Bee - They are fated to drive others away at their most vulnerable

Butterfly - They are fated to have their good intentions twisted sour

Peacock - They are fated to put their faith and love into the wrong person and destroy themselves

Snake - At the end of things, they will always end up alone

Dragon - They are fated to never have the strength they most need

Bunny - They are destined to see the worst fates of their friends repeat over and over again with no chance to save them

Tiger - They are destined to always squeeze too tight and break those they love

Pig - Their kindness and desire to help will be their downfall

Mouse - They are fated to feel the weight of every task and eventually be crushed by it

Ox - They are cursed to be destroyed by their own growing doubt

Horse - They are fated to always be a moment too slow and be ruined by it

Monkey - Their happiness will come at the cost of the misery of others

Goat - They will be consumed by their passion and desires

Dog - They will devote their lives to a goal and only in their last moments realize they were wrong

Rooster - The people they hold closest will be unreachable

My rough idea is that the Miraculous of the Chinese Miracle Box are so powerful that their magic naturally backlashes onto the user in the form of a curse. So if someone wears a Miraculous for too long, they will be doomed to the curse even if they take it off.

Miracubots: Miraculous Holders (Humans)

Since this has gotten a little attention and seems to have gotten people curious I'll continue inflicting this AU on you XD

For a while Beetletron and Felidae Fatale are the only heros running around Griffin Rock doing what they can to obfuscate their identities. It helps that due to Cody in his hero form looking like a miniature Rescuebot, has people believing he's a smaller more advanced model of bot with an AI controlling him and Felidae acting as his handler.

And has the Bot's thinking he's a Minicon running around with a human friend. Cody is absolutely having a blast dropping hints that he and the bots are related and Plagg is pouting that Tikki got the holder who's causing the most Chaos.

As the fights start escalating Master Fu starts trying to teach Cody about the Miraculous and being a guardian....Only for Cody to insist either Frankie be there in the lessons to, or he'd just teach her behind Fu's back. Yup, no one person being Guardian over the other, Cody and Frankie are equals.

As part of the training Fu allows them to take the Turtle Miraculous to find someone that would be a good temporary hero. Unfortunately, during an Akuma attack the Turtle ends up being lost...And Priscilla Pync is the one to find it.

Priscilla at first mostly uses the Turtle as somewhat an escape from her life under her mothers thumb and while Terraprincess isn't much of a fighter and rarely turns up for Akuma attacks, she's been finding her footing acting to evacuate people from fights and acting to help with the more natural disasters of the island.

(We very much want Priscilla to be somewhat of a fusion of Adrien with the villain as their parent, and the redemption Chole deserved learning how to be a hero through Wayzz)

Fu is not happy with the pair for losing one of the Miraculous, even if it found it's way to a heroic individual and intended on preventing them from using any of the others for a while to teach them a lesson.

This is till an Akuma fight where as Cody's rushing to the scene...He's stopped by Plagg holding the ring, explaining that...The Akuma's Frankie, and she ordered him to take the ring and run when she realized what was happening.

Ya, being a Miraculous holder isn't a get out of jail free card in regards to Akumas. Though we've gone with the interpretation that 'A Holder if they have the mental fortitude CAN keep secrets from Swallowtail' to explain why they get given their Miraculous again.

And Cody, finding out his best friend, his platonic other half and his partner in crime fighting is the one Akumatized...Has a bit of a panic attack, freaking out at the thought of not only fighting his best friend, but having to fight her alone. It's to the point, Plagg has to get him to transform back so Tikki can help calm him. And she has a plan.

Give someone else a Miraculous to help.

And she even knows the perfect person to give it to.

Thus Chief Charlie Burns, becomes the first offical Miraculous Hero after Beetletron and Felidae Fatale, using the Horse Miraculous to become the cowboy inspired hero Ranger. With Rangers Help their able to beat Haywire and Deakumatize her back into Frankie, she feels guilty about the whole thing and resolves to work even harder as a Hero to make up for it.

The second Burns family member to be entrusted with a Miraculous is surprisingly Graham. as when this universes version of Evilistrator is created, Cody and Frankie considering their options realize, if the Akuma can create ink creatures out of nothing, why not fight fire with fire?

Thus Graham is picked to become Capricorn the holder of the Goat Miraculous and is able to create objects to counter each creature Evilistrator creates till the Akuma runs out of pages in his sketch book and can be then taken out.

Hot on his heels Dani is tapped to become the Bee Hero Hornet to help deal with a super fast Akuma wreaking havoc all across the island. Dani absolutely loves her Hornet get up, it even comes with bee wings that she can use to actually fly!

Kade is the last of the Burns family chosen to be a hero but that doesn't make him any more or less valued then the other. Just that the Ox needed a real challenge that called for it's power. And when an Akuma is able to cause a time dilation effect around it. well. Bullocks ability to utterly no sell any magic that tries to effect him is really your only sane choice now isn't it?

Keep an eye out for a part 2 of this post where talk about the Rescuebot's much more dramatic reveal (Spoiler, The BOTS can be Akumatized to) and the Miraculous they are eventually entrusted with.

After much anticipation, here is my Juleka redesign. Here she is!

So to make things clear first, in the reboot/rewrite Juleka doesn’t get the Tiger Miraculous. Instead she gets the Goat. She keeps her canon power of Clout too, which was unintentional.

But regardless, I’ve complained so much about Purple Tigress’s awful design that it was only right for me to offer my take on it. And it continues my noble quest to prevent all the girls in this show from wearing skin tight catsuits when that doesn’t suit their personality.

Juleka wears her tiger suit in a more sporty fashion, prioritizing movement, while also keeping her personal style.

And then I went HAM on Baaphomet. Since I complained so much about Purple Tigress being primarily in white (wtf), I think it’s only right to put her in mostly white but have that be the point. Less practical than her Purple Tigress look, but I really wanted Juleka’s unique style and voice shine through with this. Also you really can’t go wrong with a constellation corset. (Her name was gonna be Capricorn, but I got too attached to the anarchy of Baaphomet)

And finally Juleka herself! She doesn’t look terrible in canon, just really underwhelming and outdated. So I put her in a modern goth/sporty ensemble. Spoth, if you will.

Science Fiction Double Feature, I reworked my rose and Pigella too!

The pig’s power changed, now being dream and nightmare focused, so Pigella’s design needed to match it. And what better way to show a Dream/Nightmare pig than with some piggy pajamas? The slippers make an “oink” when she kicks things. The weapon is now a bedtime story book that she plucks peoples dreams and nightmares from. And can be yeeted as a range offensive weapon.

I changed her blue dress to green, since we were lacking green in the cast. And I feel like Rose has enough confidence to pull of bright green casually. 

I didn’t mention her mysterious illness in my original post, since I was prioritizing talking about the redesign, but I think it’s only right to properly confirm it. Cystic Fibrosis. A genetic disease, in which the lungs and digestive system are clogged with mucus.

I get what they tried to do in the show, keeping the illness vague so anyone can interpret it. But by trying to represent everyone, they represented no one. It’s not a big hush hush or a taboo subject, just go through with it.

So Rose carries her required medication with her in her stylish fanny pack, and is very diligent about taking them. She’s currently waiting to be put on a waiting list for a lung transplant, which will hopefully greatly improve her quality of life.

More Guardian!Claudia posting when I should really actually be asleep:

Claudia wears her miraculouses wrong. It started out as mistaking Daizzi's anklet for a bracelet and somehow turning into Porkbelly anyways. Daizzi, of course, is a little annoyed about this, but for Claudia? ...Oh, it sets a dangerous precedent.

Stompp's septum ring is at best worn on her tongue or as a belly button piercing. She puts her greasy fuckass hair into a bun and that's where she sticks Fluff's pocketwatch. Rarely, if ever, are any of her little magical jewelry pieces visible, because she layers so many clothes and jackets to hide them. Ziggy's hairclips get pinned to the waistband of her jeans, she wears Xuppu's circlet like the most uncomfortable choker in the world just to piss him off.

The only exceptions so far are Roaar's panjas bracelet, Orikko's claw ring, and Karra's knuckleduster/ring set, but either way she has all 10 fingers occupied by a Miraculous in some way, which is terrifying. It only makes her Tiger Punches hurt more (And yes, that's what she calls them. She uses none of the right phrases either. It works anyways.)

Of course, if there's anything her kwami bunch can compliment her on, it's that she's innovative. Even if it's not for the greater good (or really the greater evil either, more the greater entropy), her willpower to 'break the system' at the possible cost of her own life is commendable. Once she gets bit by the metaphorical kwami bug, she's obsessed with finding new synergies between using powers back to back. She can use Stompp's invulnerability + Orikko's wishmaking (for pyrokinesis) to become a Human Torch. She can scatter herself across time and space with the help of Mullo, Saass, and Fluff (which, inevitably, she tried to use to fuck with history, but then she has to stop herself from getting caught by Bunnix). Karra can 'shapeshift' Mullo's copies back to human size no matter how many copies are made, meaning Claudia can copy herself nearly thousands of times if she wants. And Barkk + Kaalki? PERFECT FOR THEFT.

She earns her title as "God's Mistake" with these kwamis. Until this superhero shit can finally kill her, she's going to be a nigh-unstoppable chaos machine.

Idk why but the fact that Gabriel is wearing the goat and bee miraculous is so funny to me. Like he’s putting in his little hair clips and then committing acts of villainy. Like ok buddy.

Do you agree if Nathaniel unified the canon goat and fox miraculous’, he would be a force to be reckoned?

As much as I dislike the powers of the goat and rooster, since it is obvious that the writers made the powers for Marc and Nathaniel rather than the miraculous, I do think Nathaniel would do really good if he unified them.

Mixing the fox and goat would be a really tricky combination for the person he would be fighting. Because once Nathaniel would cast an illusion, the akuma or villain would have no way to know if anything in the illusion would be a real creation from the power of the goat.

Plus, another good way to use the fox and goat would be to use the fox to cast an illusion of smoke or thick fog. And while the akuma or villain is distracted by that, genesis would then be used to create a cage or trap they would be lured into by the illusion.

So, yeah, Nathaniel would be quite the force if he unified the miraculous.

What's the difference between your versions of Tikki & Ziggy?

Tikki is the kwami of Creation, an Alpha kwami making her one of the oldest and the most powerful. Meanwhile Ziggy is the kwami of Imagination, whose concept is just an aspect of Tikki's concept.

Tikki can create real physical items that can remain indefinitely (though most holders turn it back into positive energy to fuel their Miraculous Ladybugs). The items Ziggy creates on the other hand are Imaginary constructs that are very "flimsy". Landing a solid hit on one, or just the lack of focus from the holder makes things summoned with Gensis vanish.

Second one, Raf with the Goat Miraculous.

He was probably the hardest of the three to choose a miraculous for. He already adds a lot to the team with his tech skills and isn't even as enthusiastic about going out on missions as Jack. Obviously, this would be different if he had superpowers but he's still very young so I wanted it to be a support miraculous he could use at base. The clear choice was the Horse miraculous, it's a pair of glasses that lets you open portals wherever you want, it's perfect for him. Unfortunately, too perfect. Raf can already open ground bridges so most situations it's redundant, other situations it's overpowered in a boring way (just open a portal to Cybertron or the Decepticon warship or anyone he wants whenever he wants) 

Eventually, I settled on the Goat miraculous of Passion. Raf is a quiet but passionate kid so that felt fitting. Its weapon is a staff-like paint brush (he keeps it retracted as that bauble around his neck when not in use) and its superpower is Genesis, uses the paint brush to create any non-magical item he desires. Because any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic the user needs to understand the object they’re trying to make so Raf wouldn’t be able to just create a new ground bridge or relic or anything complicated or powerful, at least at first. But after his lessons with Ratchet he learns enough to make smaller components that Ratchet needs, helps him with the synthetic energon, eventually he might even be able to make a new voice box for Bumblebee (or at least the parts Ratchet needs to make one). This felt like a good choice, useful support-oriented power, makes use of his intelligence and ties into his relationship with his two main Autobot guardians. 

The design was also difficult to come up with. We know that Raf comes from a big family and wears a lot of hand me downs and that’s why all his clothes are so baggy, so I wanted his suit to be slimmer and more form fitting cause he probably never wears clothes made to fit him. The horns on the side of his head double as earpieces and I gave him a visor instead of a normal mask for that cyber aesthetic (also Soundwave vibes). I drew him clinging to wall cause goats are excellent climbers and I like to think the goat miraculous lets you just run up walls (we’ve seen Ladybug and Chat do similar in the show, but the goat lets you do it better). The name was a big struggle, I had no good Goat puns. I settled on Whiz-kid, cause he’s a ‘whiz’ at technology and ‘kid’ is a name for a baby goat.
