Percy Jackson Daughter of Poseidon

Born in New York City as the daughter of Poseidon and Sally Jackson, she was a child of the broken oath to the Styx and destined to fulfil the Great Prophecy that was foretold long before her birth and the Prophecy of the Seven told after her defeat of Kronus. As daughter of Poseidon, she possesses many of her father's abilities, control over water, sea creatures, storms and the ability to breathe underwater. Percy is known for being brave, fiercely loyal, sarcastic and willing to fight for her friends. She was unaware of her divine heritage until the age of twelve, learning the truth and her destiny for a life of danger and heroism. Percy was taken to Camp Half-Blood, learning to fight and defend herself, quickly becoming a natural leader and renowned for her swordsmanship wielding Anaklusmos/Riptide. She ultimately became the Head Counselor of Poseidon's Cabin and a Praetor of the Twelfth Legion at Camp Jupiter, formerly belonging to the legion's Fifth Cohort.

it's kind of just like. yes Harrow harboured anger in his heart towards Viren (to a degree) for all the years after Sarai's death, but it truly is like he wouldn't have Snapped probably almost at all if Viren hadn't hesitated in the throne room. It's Viren presenting his plan as total and complete, rather than acknowledging the massive gap in the middle ("It doesn't have to be you (or me)" vs "It should've been me") that Harrow then has to call him out on it that heavily stokes his anger. If Viren had been more 'honest' rather than dressing it up, if Viren had offered his life for Harrow's from the beginning of the plan, Harrow likely still would've refused but might not have gotten Angry. It is only because Harrow feels that he is Unmasking Viren in their first fight in 1x02 that makes it bleed over into 1x03 in then taking Viren to task, even when Viren is being more honest and genuine, because now the root of doubt/"you present things dishonestly" has been planted in both a literal sense, morally speaking, and in a less tangible sense (i.e the mounting blood price from all the creative solutions that were supposed to solve things, and in many ways made them personally worse).

"Are you sure?" Agni –the new name Khun had decided on– asked him.

Grace had been giving it some thought ever since Agni asked him what he wanted for his younger self. As much as he wanted to shield Bam from the tower's shadow, he knew it'd be impossible. Bam would still have to kill to climb the tower and to protect his friends, and if leaving him to FUG could give him the power and experience he needed to survive, Grace thought it was a necessary sacrifice. "Yes. I'm sure."

"If you say so…"

"He will be fine, Khu- I mean, Agni. Because I will be there for him."

Agni hummed as if he had expected this outcome, "So you'll also join FUG?"

"Yes," Grace confirmed. "Besides, I still want to call my Master as Master."

Agni snorted; it was as good as a hearty laugh. "Then count me in, will you?"

"You'll also join FUG?"

"Depends on their terms of agreement, but I'll aim for it."

"Okay. What should I do, then?"

"Arrange a private meeting with Hansung Yu. Let me talk with that bastard on our behalf," Agni gave a tired sigh, which Grace learned that Agni did whenever he found something troublesome. "On second thought…maybe seek out Hwaryun first. See what she has to say."

Grace gave a saluting motion toward his pocket, grinning to himself. "Got it, Mr. Lightbearer."

This is so good because oftentimes I'd be annoyed by this, and I'd think of the scene in Keeper of the Lost Cities where two characters argue about whether or not beauty is valuable, but the difference is, there it feels like they're saying, something has to be pretty to have value, whereas here they're saying, beauty, TRUE beauty, is valuable because it bring life and joy to our rather dark world
