I personally believe that God loves LGBT people, I just wanted to ask what you thought because I've met some really good Christians and some really bad "Christians", too.

Yes, God does love LGBT people (and so do I). However, LGBT lifestyles, like "marrying" or dating someone of the same sex, is sinful. And so is transgender/nonbinary lifestyles.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men

10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God

Romans 1:26-28 ~ For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done

There is hope for those living in LGBT lifestyles. Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God and is God in the flesh, came to Earth and lived a sinless life, was crucified, and resurrected on the third day after His death. All you need to do is repent and believe this and you will be saved.

This might not feel pleasant, but it is the truth. That said, LGBT lifestyles are no bigger sins than others. ALL sin is against God and will send people to hell if they don't repent. Though my blog looks cheerful and happy most of the time, I struggle with sin daily. I don't have it all figured out either, but I know Jesus has done everything necessary to be saved and hope to live for Him the best I can. Christians sin daily, not just non-Christians. There will be struggle, but also there will be growth over time.

You may still struggle with same-sex attraction, as we all experience temptation, but God is faithful and full of grace.

I'm also going to refer you to people who were ex-gay and some who are side b (who experience same sex attraction, but do not commit homosexual activity), as they'll probably be better than me at explaining things.

The events of pride month have really bothered me. Also, it's really easy to write thoughtful posts but not do anything in the real world to affect change.

I don't have the energy for marches and I can't vote since I am not a US citizen. Do you have any tips for how to drive social change in someone's personal life in small, practical ways?

The only thing I can think of is to set a good example as a Christian, be a good friend (as much as possible) to an LGBTQ person when they come into your life, and share the Gospel with them as soon as you think they're receptive to it. I've found a few ex-LGBTQ people online (like @in-christalone, @my--darling--dear2, and @ehyeh-joshua) that prove that change is possible for these people. You could offer support and friendship to them as well whenever you come across them.

Seeking satisfaction somewhere other than God’s presence will always lead to disappointment. #emptiness

God did not make you to be completed by another person.

The only void that exists within you is when you avoid being completed by God. #feelingempty

People are constantly searching for a way to be happy and to fill the void in their lives.

The answer is Jesus.

The answer will always be Jesus. #godovereverything

There is nothing that you need between here and heaven which is not provided in Jesus Christ. #onlyjesus

Every time you try to satisfy yourself you're robbing God of an opportunity to satisfy you the right way. #godisallineed

Drinking, clubbing, sex, etc. will never fill that void of emptiness...only Jesus can!

Stop trying to medicate your problems with temporary solutions.

God has the peace you need. Seek Him! #inchristalone

People won't fulfill you.

Prestige won't fulfill you.

Positions won't fulfill you.

Possessions won't fulfill you.

Only God can truly fulfill and satisfy you. #christalone
