JJK manga spoilers ahead !!!
I am actually SO happy that gojo didn’t win over Sukuna
I cannot imagine Gojo living his life knowing he killed both Geto AND Megumi- the two people he cared the most about

Playing Stardew Valley with Gojo
[May contain slight Stardew Valley spoilers if you call them that if you haven’t played or watched people play the game fr]
Playing Stardew Valley with Gojo starts because he saw a tiktok of the junimo apples with butt cheeks mod and said you had to play the game because it was funny.
Playing Stardew Valley with Gojo consists of you guys mining together and him yelling “BABE HELP” each time a monster tries to kill him even though you’re literally right next to him
Playing Stardew Valley with Gojo is literally you decorating the farm and he’s like “OOOOHHH THIS LOOKS CUTE BABE!” after he comes back from either mining at the skull cavern or finding those goddamn golden walnuts in ginger island. Speaking of the golden walnuts, he gets really mad when he’s struggling to find some of them that he recruits you to help him- This can apply the other way around too
Playing Stardew Valley with Gojo starts with him trying to Woo you as if you were an NPC. He finds objects that you like in real life in the game and gifts it to you from time to time.
“Babe I found this amythest just for you”
“I got you this pizza”
“i found you a mushroom”
“BABE HERE” *he gifted you a seashell*
“I bought you a bouquet!” (In stardew this is a sign of romantic interest)
He gets angry at you when you talk to the single NPC’s because he knows you’re able to get with them.
And even though he has his own cabin and bed he will always go to sleep in the bed with you and will get mad if you try to leave.
Playing Stardew Valley with Gojo always lasts for a good few hours with you two talking about literally anything. Sometimes there are moments of silence but it’s not awkward it’s comfortable silence.
He makes you go to every Stardew event there is even if you’re already late game and knows what happens, he wants to just have fun with you.
He always wants to dance with you at the flower dance, and when it’s the Dance of the Moonlight Jellies he pretends as if he’s holding your hand, he’s corny
and when it’s The Feast of the Winter star he will get you a gift and asks you if it’s a much better gift than the one you received from an NPC.
Late game when it seems like there’s not much to do he’s grinding in the Saloon to complete the Junimo Cart mini game while you’re trying to make the farm look cute.
Playing Stardew Valley with Gojo is him becoming emotional(not actually) when you get married and have kids in the game because he’s so excited to do it in real life as well.
You name your Stardew children with name ideas you have for your real children.
For the farm animals he always names them after someone he knows. He named one of the chickens Nanami so he could tell him about it the next day and get him angry.
He loves playing Stardew Valley with you.
I love playing Stardew Valley with Gojo

the higher-ups (and Yaga) immediately trying to leverage Gojo & Ieri's absence to put Yuuta on the roster??? God that's such a stark moment. Thank god Nanami and Gojo saw through that one immediately, because Yuuta wants to justify his own survival so badly he would've fallen straight into it.
That whole scene, with Yuuta immediately jumping on the opportunity to help people even though something is Extremely Wrong with him and he's on the brink of physical collapse--this boy is selfless to the point of self destruction and I am chewing the drywall about it. I love him so much.
If only he was able to summon his newly found homicidal rage in defense of himself, the higher-ups would no longer be a problem. Alas, this boy is Extremely Unwell.
(Sea Glass Gardens is absolutely incredible and i am obsessed with it in a way that is totally and 100% normal. I'm so normal about it, trust me <3 )
The thing about Yuuta is that he really is prime to be taken advantage of right now and the higher ups know it. They had him try to kill himself for them--they know that there's a window of opportunity that they can use to get him under their thumb and avoid The Problem of Gojo, which is, namely, having a human weapon who you cannot fully control. Gojo nailed it from the beginning: they want a magic gatling gun with no personality or free will. They learned their lesson with Gojo and are trying to rob Yuuta of his agency before he learns how to protect himself.
And Yaga's part in that scene really was meant to kind of emphasize how, even with the best intention's, he just doesn't work to protect the kids. Like. everything he said was technically true, and he meant it with the best of intentions. He's the guy who has to think of everyone's needs. he has to manage this crisis. he's got a lot of people hurt badly who just came out of a war, and a lot of people going into fights with some very aggravated curses spawning without sufficient manpower to address the danger and no healer to save them if they cut it a little too close. He didn't have the intention of manipulating or sacrificing Yuuta, but he was aware that it would come to his detriment and risk.
The issue is the higher ups. They don't give a shit about the people in their workforce. They should be the ones doing whatever it takes to solve this crisis and save their people--and if that means giving up on their machinations? They should have already done it. It's their responsibility.
They just don't care. They want Okkotsu Yuuta under their thumb, and their society hemorrhaging is treated like an opportunity, not a dire problem to be solved. They don't care if half a dozen of their own people need to die to do it. Hell, it's better if they do die--they can put it straight on Okkotsu for not being willing to sacrifice himself, when they should have been making whatever promises they had to in order to make this work.
Gojo's done this before, is the thing. He was Yuuta, a long time ago. Nanami was right there watching it happen. They both know what the higher ups do: They let society get to a crisis level and put all the responsibility on you to save it. they let you maneuver yourself into a vulnerable position as a result, and then they use it as leverage to put their goddamn boot on your neck.
The thing is that Gojo adopting megumi all those years ago really did put them into a crisis state. the zenin pitched the mother of all bitch fits trying to secure his unconditional return, and they were a huge percentage of jujutsu society's labor force and resource pools. instead of the higher ups managing the problem at all, they took advantage of the situation and shoved more and more of its weight and responsibility onto gojo, until he was dropping off his own kid at his abusers' compound thinking it was the only compromise that could resolve things. megumi paid the price for gojo not calling bullshit, and right now, with him in a hospital bed? gojo's less willing to repeat mistakes than ever.
he knows that they're going to use the safety and suffering of everyone else as the leverage against him, and he knows that as terrible as it is, he cannot blink first. He's played this game before, and he knows that the only way to get the higher ups to back off on something like this is to dig in your heels.
I think what happened to Megumi all those years ago and how bad it got before they put a stop to it is something that haunts all three of them. When they first started raising him, they were very young, and they were very broken, and they loved him very, very much. He was their little boy, and he was never the same after the Zenin. They were supposed to protect him, and they didn't, and not a single one of them has forgiven themselves for that.
Megumi was sort of sacrificed for the greater good when he was a kid. None of them thought that that was what they were doing when it happened, but that's what happened. His happiness, safety, and wellbeing were sacrificed to pacify the Zenin and make it easier on everyone else.
Megumi and Tsumiki had to become their non-negotiables after. They had to become the things they refused to compromise on. The Zenin would take miles and miles if you gave them a millimeter, let alone an inch.
Gojo didn't think he was compromising them when he left them on their own to deal with Geto's war. They were disgustingly self-sufficient kids. They had been alone for longer stretches of time when they were practically toddlers--they should have been fine on their own for a couple of weeks.
But they were still his kids, and he still left them alone for everyone else's sake, and now his kid is blind and half dead in a hospital bed. It's like being punched in the face by old mistakes.
So they're off the roster completely, all of them. And they're not compromising an inch on what their focus is, and they're not letting anything happen to any of the other kids in their care.
It's terrible that their coworkers are suffering, but it wouldn't be happening if the Zenin hadn't fucked with Gojo Satoru's kid, of all the goddamn people. It wouldn't be happening if the higher ups would actually do their job and start managing shit.
And if they use Yuuta as an anxiety riddled bandaid on the bullet hole in their society? Then they'd be sacrificing him the way they sacrificed Megumi all those years ago. And they have never been less willing to do that.
I'm so so glad you like the story! Thank you for talking with me!
#i think gojo has such a big emphasis on giving kids the tools to protect themselves because no one ever did that for him or geto#geto snapped under the pressure and was lost to gojo forever#Gojo repeatedly focuses on giving the kids the tools to enjoy their childhood without being hurt#like with yuuji--he doesn't want him to sacrifice his youth and happiness with the others#so he focuses on giving him the strength to protect himself when gojo isn't there#in my mind that's also why gojo was always trying to feed yuuji the fingers#like when i first started the series it seemed kind of weird to me because gojo very obviously didn't want yuuji dead#until i realized that yuuji canonically had a good chance at suppressing sukuna even at 20 fingers as long as he had them spaced out#if yuuji had sukunas power level and had gotten it in increments eventually the higher ups couldnt touch him and hed still be under control#honestly none of the adults are doing well right now#a little under a decade ago the issue with the zenin came to a head and megumi ended up being very small and very hurt in a hospital bed#and they promised him that it would never happen again#now he looks very small and very hurt and he's in a hospital bed and the zenin put him there#as much as he's an angry teenager who hates displays affection he really is their little boy and they adore him#nanami was the one who took him from the zenin the final time all those years ago and he personally promised megumi that he would never eve#go back to that place. he feels like a complete failure right now.#gojo always blamed himself for not digging in his heels and refusing the custody compromise and now he's FURIOUS that this happened under#his nose a second time. i think gojos really interesting in the hero role because he's canonically low empathy and struggles with homicidal#impulses and let me tell you he thought about just killing all the zenin back then and he's REALLY thinking about it right now. there's one#fucking way of making sure this never happens again.#shoko generally feels like shit because this is supposed to be the one thing she can do to help and she /can't/ do it right now to help#megumi. also she privately thinks she had the most opportunity to realize how bad it was with the zenin back then and /didn't/.#she was going through a lot of her own issues back then and the zenin had some kind of believable excuses for why megumi was always banged#up. like. he was already getting into fights at school. its not like the zenin had issues procreating. they said he was picking fights#with other kids and that's where he got hurt. they actually blamed maki more than once. and some bruises here and there is expected for a#kid in combat training even at what was meant to be a very preliminary level. he was supposed to be in like. kiddie karate classes and they#didn't realize the zenin were training him like a fucking marine. it was SO obvious in hindsight and that tortures them.#protecting yuuta right now kind of feels like a chance to get it right the first time and all of them need that now that they feel like the#fucked it up with megumi a second time#sea glass gardens

Gojo has his head. In season 2 he tells toji he failed to kill him because he didn't cut off his head. Sukuna didn't cut off his head. He can still heal his body.
Plus we see Nanami tell gojo that there are two paths. One to change you or one to stay who you are. Gojo says goodbye to his dead friends and we see him walk away showing he's taking the second path. We also see a lotus then.
Which symbols strength and renewal.
Gojo is not dying. He may be gone a few chapters but everything his hunting he will heal his body and be back.
Gojo will live.
i wish i had your hopium but i gotta correct a few things here ... 1) it was said by i think kashimo (i dont even remember) that cursed energy comes from the gut, and gojo has been split into two from his stomach. toji never bisected him, even if he managed to stab him through the cranium. 2) gojo didn't say goodbye to his friends in the afterlife, that was a mistranslation. 3) he's not walking away from anything either ?? 4) the chapter title is called "going south" bruh...
listen. i so badly want him to come back. i really fucking do. i read jjk 0 when it came out in jump giga in 2017 and when it wasn't called jjk yet (it was called tokyo metropolitan curse technical school btw). i've been with gojo since mfing 2017... 2017!!! i've loved him for over 6 years now i can't even believe it's been so long.. i never expected that silly oneshot manga to become this popular 🥹 kinda makes me happy how loved jjk is currently :')))) but the fact of the matter is that gege has stated numerous times that he wants to finish jjk soon. he actually stated in late 2022 that he was planning on finishing it in 2023. gege's editor has come out and said that the manga will not be ending this year though, so my guess is somewhere around spring 2024 everything will be wrapped and and be donezo so that gege can move on to that goddamn idol manga he's been yapping about for a while now. so what am i trying to say with this tangent? i'm saying that jjk is ending soon and that gege has stated multiple times how difficult it was for him to write around the powerhouse that is gojo (which is just an admission of his own shitty writing/planning because mf YOU 🫵 are the writer like you are the one that created him!!! learn how to plan out your story and how to utilize the characters you yourself have created for it you stupid fucking cat i swear to god....). this all just screams to me that it's over. it's finished. gojo already died once and came back enlightened, he's not gonna have it a second time. not this close to the end. not after having been removed from the narrative for over a hundred chapters. not after seeing sukuna back at full health in his heian era form, something gege didn't even have gojo force out of him. like gege really got him out of the box so that he could be done with him unarguably and conclude his character arc because he wants to finish jjk.
gojo is dead, nobara is for sure dead, megumi is basically done for (we'll see him once more within the mind once yuuji does his soul cursed technique whatever bullshit on sukuna to have a talk but he's not coming back no more), and yuuji, the kid whose execution started this story, will be the only one left alive. gege said in an interview a while ago that he wanted to end jjk with either 1 of the main 4 dead, or only 1 of the main 4 alive. i think it's pretty obvious that person is supposed to be yuuji. "die surrounded by your friends" from the first chapter is going to turn into "all your dead friends will surround you". i am wholeheartedly convinced of this. i'm sorry, but after 3 years of having to sit through that worthless culling game arc leading to absolutely nowhere for our heroes, after realizing that there will never be a pay off for the last 100+ chapters because the whole point of the arc is now fucking dead just like that, i do not have it in me to have any faith nor hope in gege's writing skills. it's become painfully clear to me how mid that guy is at writing and how hard he is rushing towards the end. i have lost all faith and goodwill i used to hold for gege.

Part 1 Here! / Part 2 Here!/ Playlist Here!
* Alright so here are the facts as you know them
* Gojo’s a goddamn player and a homewrecker
* The boy probably has half of Tokyo after him
* Not that you can blame them, that pretty face had you fooled at first too
* The second fact, it that for whatever reason, Gojo Satoru has chosen to play house with a future hopeful sorcerer named Megumi Fushiguro
* Which, through forces outside your control, you have become involved with as well
* And the last fact, was that as soon as this no longer interested him or benefited him in any way, Gojo Satoru would abandon the situation entirely and act like it never happened
* So-
* “(Y/N/N), you look nice today, did you do something new with your hair?” Gojo sings
* - pray tell, why is the school prince is currently sitting on top of your desk, looking at you with those heart eyes
* “Oi what do you think you’re doing?” You ask, a vein threatening to pop on your forehead
* “I’m flirting with you~” he sings, only leaning closer with that all-too-pleased smile
* “I’m pretty sure this is bullying” you reply
* Ever since you’ve started pseudo-parenting Megumi and Tsumiki, Gojo’s been doing crap like this,
* Sometimes he tries to feed you at lunch,
* “Open wide (Y/N/N)~” He’ll sing as he holds out a piece of sushi towards you on some chopsticks
* Only for Megumi to eat it instead
* “Why do you look so sad papa, I thought you said I was your pride and joy”
* other times he’s holding doors open for you
* “Ah here let me-“
* You watch as he walks across from you and opens the door to a random void shrine
* You look at him before sighing and opening your own door to the library
* The other day you mentioned how you didn’t get to try the limited edition Sakura Pepsi and came back to your dorm with a bottle on your desk
* Which would be cute- if the bottle wasn’t half-empty with a note that he’d that said
* “Sorry, I got thirsty on the way back”
* Seriously he’s the worst- and yet,
* You turned away from Megumi and Gojo bickering, hoping he didn’t notice how flustered you were,
* you hid your laugh behind your hand as Gojo jogs to catch up with you, saying he was just trying to predict your needs-
* And you held the half-full bottle of Sakura Pepsi to your chest, keeping it on your window sill
* Because you love him-
* Even though you know he’s just doing all these things to entertain himself instead of out of genuine affection
* Even though these feeling will do nothing but hurt you
* You still love him
* He makes your life feel exciting and fun
* And more than that, underneath that moronic playboy exterior, is a gentle, lonely heart
* A heart that will run away as soon as it knows how you feel about it
* So you mask your budding feelings as best as you can
* Because the only thing you imagine is more painful than knowing your feelings won’t be returned-
* Is not having Gojo Satoru in your life at all
* So you do your best to pretend like nothing has changed
* You act just as indifferent as you always have-
* “Here-“ you push your dessert in Gojo’s direction. “You like sweets right?”
* His smile is so radiant you almost have to shield your eyes
* Well, mostly indifferent anyway
* Not that the self-absorbed moronic prince has seemed to notice anyway
* Too busy focusing on the scrumptious piece of cake in front of him
* Still Gojo isn’t one to be underestimated, he looks to you with a twinkle in his eyes
* “Let’s share it!”
* So far he’s tried twice to have an indirect kiss with you, and he’s missed twice
* He even threw away those chopsticks when Megumi ate that piece of sushi in frustration
* But you know what they say, third times the charm
* You look at Gojo with a raised eyebrow, gaze flicking between the cake and his face
* What, did he imbue some cursed energy so it would explode when you tried to take a bite
* “No thanks”
* Cue Gojo crying as he eats his cake
* He’s really been doing his best lately to earnestly pursue you
* But for some reason, you just don’t get it
* “I like you,” Gojo says as you’re walking side by side on your way back to the dorm after visiting Megumi
* You look back at him, and Gojo feels a blush start to fan across his face
* He finally did it! He finally confessed to you
* And his heart is drumming away in his chest
* You don’t seem to understand the monumental significance of what just occurred because what your mind heard was
* “I {really} like {teasing} you”
* You sigh, your heart skipped a beat, for a second you almost got your hopes up
* There’s no way lady killer Gojo Satoru would ever pick you to be one of his lovers, and if he did it would just be so you could be apart of his personal harem
* “Ok”
* And then you turn around and walk away
* Gojo can’t help but feel like this is retribution for all the times one of his romantic partners has said ‘I love you’
* And he responded with:
* “Why would you do that to yourself?”
* Or
* “Cool”
* At first he thinks it’s a straight-up rejection, but he figures out pretty fast that you just didn’t get it when you keep acting the same as you always have around him
* But don’t get it wrong babe, none of this deters Gojo in the slightest
* “Why are you looking at me like that?” You ask
* You’re both in the library, but only one of you is actually studying
* Gojo’s been staring at you with an oddly fixated gaze
* Honestly it’s got you feeling an uncomfortable heat spreading from your face to your neck
* “I’m not giving up you know”
* Giving up on what?!?
* What’s going on right now!!?
* But Gojo doesn’t offer any more insight choosing instead to finally bother reading the book in his hands
* What a weird guy
* You look down to your own book
* You feel the heat linger on your face and neck
* It’s because he’s always saying crap like that, that you’ve caught feelings for him
* Well whatever, everything fades right? Eventually, Gojo will probably lose interest in you-
* He’s part of a clan do you imagine they’ll find a nice girl from a respectable family for him to marry
* They’ll probably have a few kids who’ll be next in line to succeed him
* And by then he’ll be in such a prominent position that you’ll never see him again
* He’ll just be a memory
* Some boy you had a youthful unrequited love with
* The thought makes your heart clench but-
* “It’s for the best,” you tell yourself
* You’re going in completely opposite directions in life, you couldn’t possibly home for anything more than what you have
* After all your luck probably ran out the second you saw his face
* The most beautiful man you’ll ever see
* “I bet he would be one of those handsome grandpas when he gets older” you snort
* The kind that charms and flirts with young men and women just because he knows the effect he has on them.
* You still can’t believe you fell in love with someone like that
* “What a pain” you mumble to yourself, falling back on your bed
* You feel uncertain, afraid of the future even.
* Maybe a snack will help
* It’s the middle of the night, way past the time you were supposed to go to bed when you see him in the kitchen
* Great the last person you wanted to run into
* He’s just standing there in front of the fridge with the door open
* He hasn’t even turned around to say hi or anything
* “Oi Baka prince if you leave the door open like that every-“
* You stop mid-word, you only need one look at his face to know something is wrong
* It’s not all that uncommon for him to do something like this-
* See the thing is, Gojo knows he’s strong enough that he will get to choose when he dies- he’s not bound by the same pain the other sorcerers are, but-
* Well, he’s still going to die
* No matter how much he thinks he’s like god, no matter how powerful he is,
* He’s still going to die
* And growing up with the power he’s had and the mindset that he’s the strongest
* The realization can be pretty crippling
* He so afraid of the uncertainty that brings that most times he can’t move
* The worst part is it’s never when he’s actively thinking about death, or even when he’s on the job
* It’s always at times like this when he’s just woken up and is oddly hungry and he’ll remember
* “Oh, I’m going to die aren’t I?”
* And then it’s like he’s frozen solid
* What is it he usually tells the victims that enter his domain?
* “Funny how when you can do everything, you find you can’t do anything”
* Usually he manages to unfreeze after some unspecified amount of time, getting through it on his own
* But this time, when he finally escapes from the domain of his inner mind he’s covered in a layer of sweat just like always-
* But he’s not sure why he sprawled across the floor
* Not until his head shifts a little, only to see your face looming over him
* Omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg
* He’s resting his head in your lap!!!
* Honestly this has been a fantasy of his for a while, to have his head in your lap while looking at the cherry blossoms, and you feed him chocolates and a gentle wind caresses your face
* BUT NOT LIKE THIS
* “Feeling better?” You ask
* Gojo thinks he might combust, he moves to sit up but winces
* He’s got the worst headache, these little episodes of his do typically end with a migraine
* Your hand feels nice and cold as it rests against his forehead
* “Rest a little longer, we’re not in any hurry”
* Aaaaand now he’s screaming on the inside again
* “Sorry about this” he mumbles, and you can’t help but smile
* It’s oddly endearing to see a shy Gojo Satoru
* “I bet your lovers would kill me if they saw knew you were showing me such a cute side” you’re half-joking when you say it, but you’re also half-serious
* It gives your Ego a little boost to know you’ve seen a side of him that most of his lovers probably haven’t
* You doubt the mighty Gojo Satoru ever allows himself to be this vulnerable, not even while he’s in the throes of passion
* So that same earnest look on his face startles you
* “I don’t have any other lovers”
* You snort
* “Sure, and I definitely didn’t steal Geto’s pudding that he was saving”
* “I’m being serious”
* Gojo sighs, here he is feeling awfully vulnerable and you still seem denser than a rock
* Do you think he would let anyone other than you see him like this
* “When are you going to realize that if it’s not you then it’s just no good?”
* Your heart is drumming in your ears, and you wonder if he can hear it
* Your mind is telling you to pull back, that this is way too good to be true, that this will only hurt you,
* You should get away while you still have a chance
* But instead something in you persists and you say:
* “Why do you think that is”
* Gojo’s hand reaches up, twirling a strand of your hair around his finger, those clear blue eyes looking straight into yours
* Your breath stutters in your chest
* You always have been weak for those eyes
* His pink lips curl up into a smile
* “Because I love you”
* And before you know what you’re doing your bending down, pressing your lips against his
* “I love you too”
Bonus:
* “You can see through it right?” You ask
* Gojo fidgets with the blindfold, honestly he was hoping for a much kinkier reason than replacing his scuffed sunglasses when you gave him the blindfold
* “It’s a little darker, but that’s not a bad thing.”
* His hair is out of his face too which is nice
* But-
* “What’s with the sudden gift?”
* It’s not exactly out of character for you to get the people you care about something, but this seems a little outside of your usual MO
* “I just felt like it” You mumble
* Now that his eyes are covered up you think he might attract a little less attention, and all his former flings probably won’t be able to recognize him
* Your eyes drift to his uniform, even in the gross pantsuit you can still tell he’s got a pretty nice body,
* But you’ll have to adjust
* Gojo sees right through your nonchalant answer, smiling that wolfish grin
* “Aw was my sweetie scared I was going to leave them?” He coos, moving ever so close
* You only turn away your face
* Gojo only grins wider
* “Honey~ you should know by now if it’s not you then I’m not interested” he sings in your ear

author’s notes : this was very rushed and ~spoiler alert~ drew inspiration for reader’s cursed energy from naruto. now i know the nine-tailed fox doesn’t work like that but just work with me here lol. oh, and grammatical errors. let me know if you enjoy and want me to make another part!
Tumblr media
You were laying on your back, under the shade of a tree, gazing up at the clouds when you heard your teacher walking by. You propped yourself up on your elbows when you saw that he was walking with a pink hair boy. You were about to return to your position when something caught your eye.
A mouth on his cheek?
The boy quickly slapped a hand where the mouth appeared but as if the mouth had a mind of its own, had made itself known once again on the back of his palm.
Interesting, You had thought. Maybe Megumi knew something about this.
Turns out, Megumi was knocked out in his dorm room, bandages covering his body. You stood above him, with your hands on your hips as you assessed him. You leaned down and gently poked his cheek.
“Megumiii,” You said his name in a sing-song voice.
“Me-gu-mi!” You poked his cheek with every pause in his name.
He stirred awake and looked at you annoyed, “What is it?”
“Who’s the pink-haired kid?” You asked and seated yourself on his bed.
He huffed a sigh at your action. He answered, “New student that’s gonna join us. He’s also Sukuna’s vessel.”
Your eyes widened in disbelief. “No way! Hmm, so that mouth was probably Sukuna’s.” The last part you mumbled, mainly to yourself.
Megumi looked at you in confusion.
“Don’t worry about it. Also Megumi, ever since you graduated middle school I feel like the roles are reversed. Why is it that you’re constantly getting beat up now?” You giggled at him.
He sighed at you and threw a pillow in your direction. You quickly dodged it. You were about to tease him more when you heard Gojo’s voice in the hall. You both quickly got up and peaked your head in the hall.
“Fushiguro! A girl? Woah, were we interrupting something?” The pink-haired boy exclaimed.
“Ugh, as if. As beautiful as Megumi is, he keeps rejecting my feelings.” You told the boy.
Megumi sighed again and said, “There’re a bunch of empty rooms aren’t there?”
When Megumi started talking to Gojo, you introduced yourself to the pink-haired boy. “I’m L/N F/N!”
The pink-haired boy said, “I’m Itadori Yuji. Also known as Sukuna’s vessel!”
“So I’ve heard. So how does it feel to be with an old man inside you?” You asked him curiously.
“Hmm…” He looked up in thought, “I can hear him in my head so it’s interesting. He was also not a fan of being called an old man.”
He looked like he wanted to say more when Gojo interrupted, “Ahh! There’s my favorite student! I’ve seen that you have acquainted yourself with dear F/N-chan!”
You sighed at your teacher, “You act like I wasn’t here the whole time.”
“Oh! I forgot to mention! You have a mission tomorrow! Come see me later to see the details!” Gojo said to you. He turned to the two boys, “You two! We’re going out tomorrow! We’re going to get the third first-year student!”
“Uh, don’t your mean the fourth?” Yuji questioned.
“Nope,” Gojo replied and pointed at him, “Because you’re technically the fourth one.”
“Gojo-sensei!” He said.
“Yes, Yuji-kun!” Gojo said back.
“Why isn’t L/N-san coming with us?” He questioned.
“Because, she’s needed for a special-grade mission.” This time, it was Megumi who had answered.
“Uh,” Yuji said, “What does that mean?”
“Basically, it means I’m the strongest!” You had replied to him with the grin.
The two boys looked like they were experiencing deja vu.
You had just gotten back to Japan when you received a call from Jujutsu High’s assistant manager, Kiyotaka Ijichi.
“Hello?”
“L/N-san. I’m sending you coordinates. Please get here immediately. It’s an emergency.” He rushed out.
You immediately straightened up, “Got it. Please fill me in while I’m on my way.”
As you made your way to the detention center, you had gotten all the details about the situation.
“Where is Megumi and Yuji right now?” You asked Ijichi.
“It seems that they are around apartments in the area. I would advise going up onto a roof to get a view.” He answered.
You nodded and took off.
Crap, you thought. This was bad. Megumi, I swear, you’re just asking to be beat up this time. Seriously, the next time you wanna pull this stunt, I’ll give you a real beating.
You were running on a rooftop when something caught you eye. Two people fighting. More like one person fighting and the other taking all of the hits. You quickly ran and jumped off the building, landing in between the two.
“Hmm… What is this?” Yuji- no, Sukuna asked.
“I see. You don’t actually look like an old man.” You had replied to him. You quickly assessed the situation and saw that there was a whole in Yuji’s chest.
Holding Yuji hostage. But what does he want from Megumi?
“Megumi. Break time. I’ll handle this.” You smiled at him.
You activated your cursed energy, nine tails of red energy came out behind you.
Sukuna maniacally grinned and yelled out, “Show me what you got, Jujutsu Sorcerer!”
Before you could even attack, Megumi yelled out, “L/N! Stop!”
Megumi stumbled in front of you, facing Yuji’s body. “I didn’t save you because it was the right thing to do. I’m not a hero. I’m a jujutsu sorcerer. That’s why I never regretted saving you. Not even for a moment.”
The black markings started disappearing on Yuji’s body. He responded while smiling, “I see.”
Yuji looked away, bashful, “You’re so smart, Fushiguro. Thinking about all sorts of stuff, unlike me.”
Blood started dripping from his mouth.
“Oh! Sorry… Time’s up. Fushiguro, as for you, Kugisaki, L/N and Gojo-sensei… Well I guess I don’t have to worry about you two. Live a long life, okay?”
Yuji’s body dropped to the ground. There was a pregnant pause of silence.
“Y-yuji?” You stepped forward.
You crouched down to him, turned him onto his back and laid his head on your lap. You looked up to the sky and closed your eyes.
I’m going to kill them. I’m going to kill those goddamn elders and everyone who was involved with this.
You took a deep breath.
“Fushiguro-kun. Please go get Ichiji-san.” You told Megumi.
He hesitated for a moment, then realizing that this was almost like an order, using his last name to emphasize it. He nodded in response.
When he left, you focussed your cursed energy into a tail behind you, to touch Yuji’s the center of Yuji’s forehead.
You were suddenly transported into a different place. No, almost like a different realm. You were at the bottom of a blood soaked and skeleton flooding shrine. You looked up at the pile of bones and saw Sukuna sitting atop, on a throne made of bones.
“Oh, what’s this?” He questioned. “Never has a soul forced its way into my domain.”
“What’s your plan?” You pressed him. “There has to be a reason why you’re still taking shelter in Yuji’s body when he’s dead?”
“The game has changed.” Sukuna replied simply. His silence after his reply told you that this was the end of the conversation for this topic.
He cocked his head and looked up to the never ending ceiling. “It seems that it’s time for you to go, little fox.”
Before you could say anything more, you were forced out and awoke to Ichiji shaking your shoulders. You looked around, a bit disoriented, and saw Ichiji. You grabbed his wrist tightly, your claws drawing the slightest bit of blood and said, “Get Gojo now.”

Psst, any Geto and Gojo headcanons?
I can't believe you'd encourage me like this anon, when I'm fucking crazy about these two, I'm not normal.
 Gojo
The thing I usually headcanon on Gojo about is his upbringing. In all my Gojo fics its mentioned at least a little bit and his mother will be making a cameo in Curse!Gojo AU when that comes out so look forward to that. Either way it’s very interesting to me that when we see Gojo as a child he looks so serious. Like he’s intense, everyone who sees him is like wtf is wrong with this child, there’s already that sense of this is not a human being like us, he does look fairly self-confident when he notices Awasaka tryin to go in for the kill. I don’t think we ever see child Gojo like…smile. Which is so different from both his present self and his high school self so it’s really striking. I think a lot of us are wondering what Gojo’s upbringing was like, how does his family see him, what do they feel about him. I always headcanoned it as a very closed off, strict upbringing and this kind of only grew stronger when we find out that one of the six eye users before him was killed as a baby. Like I imagine him closed off from the jujutsu world at large and kept in for training. Sorcerers from the big three families don’t really have to go to school cuz its assumed their families will teach them what they need to know but I think Gojo was basically jumping out of his skin to go. Like, if you lived inside one estate your whole life, if your whole life your family has been breathing down your neck and you properly weren’t allowed out of their sight until you at least mastered infinity (cuz I reckon they wouldn’t let him with Kenjaku out at large and being known to target six eye users) you’d be fuckin jumping at getting away from them too. And then when he finally got some fuckin control over his life it’s no wonder that he was like that tm in high school. He’s like 15, he’s out on his own for first time ever, he’s fuckin insane. I like to headcanon that for at least a good year Gojo was goddamn everywhere trying to experience stuff he just didn’t get to as a kid, usually pulling Geto and Shoko along with him. I write about this in Sweet on  series but I do think he was very hungry for life, very hungry to do things, very hungry to make his own decisions. And like he’s a teenager, both he and Geto are teenagers with very teenager midsets of ‘lol I don’t care imma just do what I want’ to ‘ there is the Right way tm and I alone have figured it out’. But I do think that there in highschool, Geto was exactly what Gojo needed. He was both a partner in crime and a peaceful eye of the storm. He balanced out Gojo’s energy with his own more restrained one but was a bastard also. They found a home in each other, they found a place to belong to in each other.
 Geto
I feel like most of what I think about Geto has already been said ten times over hjvhjbh but I guess that can be said for Gojo too. Thinking about the way Geto grew up is very interesting since he was a sorcerer from a nonsorcerer family and with his technique…it must have been difficult. I always think about how easily Geto killed his parents off. Yeah he says he can’t make exceptions but really? They were literally his second murder (the first being a collective one). Like even if you became genocidal I would assume that people close to you, your family and friends, would kinda slip under that radar. For them it would be more normal to go ‘this is different, there are different’ in attempt to both hold on to your ideology and not, you know, eradicate the people closest to you. Which is a big reason why I don’t think Geto had a particularly nice family life either. Seeing curses and being able to take them in (though idk when Geto would have figured out he can take em in so it was normal but it probably had to be more high school cuz they scouted him for SOMETHING) just spells as something people would read as a mental illness. And knowing how much mental illness can be stigmatized….not a happy childhood, I don’t think Geto was very attached to his parents at all. He was probably just as happy as Gojo to leave and attend school. He would have probably stayed there year round if that was a possibility. And again I have to mention that Geto n Gojo found home in each other. They both give off a feeling of someone who was alone before and now found a place to belong and clung to that like nothing else. I also like to think about Geto post his defection because Gege mentioned that he didn’t like to interact with non sorcerers at all, not even for things he needed. That’s why I think Geto is a househusband of your dreams, he can do anything. He cooks, he bakes, he cleans, he has a lil garden on his balcony to grow his own vegetables (so he doesn’t have to take stinky monkey vegetables), he has it all, girls want him guys wanna be him, except his genocidal. Also I adore thinking of him as his quasi-fatherly role he has with Nanako and Mimiko. Geto already has long hair so you can’t tell me he doesn’t know some tricks and I like to imagine him and Nanako n Mimiko in a little braid train, of course he would let them braid his hair too.
 Idk how much of this is headcanons and how much is just me holdin satosugu and cryin but I hope you enjoyed it <3. I feel like I have many more thoughts about these two buts its getting late here and I kind of have a headache so jgbjhgj these will have to do!!

After Gojo, Nanami and Shoko found out about Zenin beating Megumi up, how did the talk go? Megumi was very confused, and the trio was very guilty. I'm interested in how they tried to "reconnect" and apologize to Megumi again.
I mean, they only found out and cut them off because it got bad enough that megumi needed to be hospitalized. So there wasn’t a lot of talking in the immediate aftermath. It was mostly megumi being very small and very broken and very sedated for his own comfort while tsumiki went after anyone who went near him like a rabid coyote.
Reconnecting was a very long and slow process for them somewhat complicated by the fact that this is what made Nanami quit the jujutsu world entirely. Nanami promised him that it would never happen again, that he would personally make certain that megumi never went back to the Zenin again, and he meant it with his whole heart. He knew he wasn’t like gojo. He knew he couldn't take on the Zenin single-handedly. But he would find a way, if it meant not letting megumi down again.
He really hates that he was wrong.
They set up a new custody arrangement, but it was Nanami that had partial custody, and there was no talk of the jujutsu world when they were with him. There was no training. Megumi and tsumiki were just supposed to worry about being kids and nothing else. Nanami was good to his word on all he promised, so that helped rebuild somewhat.
Gojo was harder. Gojo was the one that knew.
By the time that Megumi woke up, he had already gone to the Zenin compound and told them that they were never allowed near him again. That he would kill every goddamn one of them if they ever touched him again. But Megumi didn't know that.
And when he woke up, he thought that he had fucked up and that they would take Tsumiki away from him. He tried to convince Gojo not to. That he would be better for the Zenin and make it work, if they just let him stay with Tsumiki. Gojo realized then that Megumi thought he had been holding his sister And it was just about the biggest kick in the teeth that Gojo could imagine.
Gojo told him that it was okay. That no one was ever taking Tsumiki away, so stop worrying about it. he had taken care of it and that he would never have to see the Zenin again.
He didn't know. He should have known. He's sorry. It would never happen again.
It took a long time for Megumi to trust him again, or even really talk to him. Megumi didn't really believe him that he didn't know for a while. He didn't trust him that it wouldn't happen again for longer.He sort of shut down and iced everyone out for a while. He really wasn't okay, and he didn't want to talk about what had happened with the Zenin. It got better. It was a slow path to repairing their relationship, and it was mostly built on all of them keeping their word when they made promises. But it was really never the same again.
