2020 has been a rollercoaster of a year for sure, and it’s still not sure how next year will be. But at least, for me, this year has made me notice who I have beside me and what I have around me.

Whatever 2021 will be, I’m prepared.

It’s time to say goodbye to 2020. It was a year of lock downs, cancellations, shaved head and online festivals and theater. 

May 2021 be a better one, filled with Tarjei, happiness and health!

Heal the World

Aku pernah membayangkan.

Tahun 2020 dengan segenap ceritanya, akan sangat menarik di masa depan. Tentu saja, hal itu baru bisa terjadi ketika kondisi bumi membaik, kan.

Dan ketika waktu itu tiba, mungkin kita akan menjadi story teller terbaik untuk anak-cucu kita. Bagaimana kecemasan yang datang begitu status pandemi didengungkan. Tentang sekolah-sekolah yang diliburkan sementara, kemudian menjadi School From Home yang rupanya berkepanjangan. Tentang pekerjaan yang mendadak dialihkan ke rumah, kalaupun tidak, pegawai harus masuk bergantian, tak boleh ada keramaian. Tentang tenaga kesehatan yang tiba-tiba menjadi garda depan, menjadi pahlawan, dan betapa banyak pula yang tumbang berguguran. Tentang kabar simpang siur yang membuat penduduk bumi terpecah-belah: apakah bencana ini nyata/tidak, apakah virus ini benar berbahaya atau hanya berita dari oknum yang melebih-lebihkan.

Besok, setelah keadaan bumi membaik, 2020 akan menjadi bab tersendiri dari buku sejarah di seluruh dunia.

Mungkin, sejarah yang dituliskan pun akan menghasilkan beberapa versi. Tergantung, siapa yang menulis dan apa tujuannya.

Buatku, tahun ini rasanya luar biasa.

Sadar atau tidak, aku semakin menghargai hal-hal kecil, yang semula mungkin terlupakan bahwa hal-hal kecil itu merupakan bagian dari nikmat-Nya.

Sesederhana bisa bernafas lega di rumah tanpa masker. Masih bisa berdekatan dengan keluarga tanpa harus isolasi. Mencoba banyak resep baru dari youtube bersama bapak dan ibu. Sumpah dokter yang dinanti, harus diselenggarakan online.

Semua yang tampak berat di awal.

Tapi ketika menjalaninya, tidak terlalu buruk juga.

Dalam beberapa hal, justru ada nilai plusnya. Seminar ilmiah yang bisa disaksikan hanya dari rumah. Live seminar dengan pembicara terbaik yang bisa disaksikan siapa pun, padahal biasanya tidak banyak seminar offline bagus yang bisa kita datangi kecuali dengan akses memadai.

Aku semakin mudah merasa ‘cukup’.

Cukup bisa makan lauk rumahan tanpa banyak keluar untuk jajan.

Cukup bisa bersua lewat video ataupun suara untuk bertukar pikiran.

Cukup dengan apa yang aku miliki, alih-alih kalap memenuhi keinginan yang kadang tidak sesuai kebutuhan.

Aku belajar, bahwa merasa cukup adalah kunci supaya mampu bertahan. Karena rasa cukup berkawan baik dengan kesyukuran. Tidak lagi menyesali keadaan.

Tapi, sebagaimana setiap pembelajaran akan diakhiri dengan ujian dan kelulusan. Kuharap, pembelajaran dan ujian ini akan sampai pada tenggat waktunya.

Dan, bila saat itu tiba, semoga kita semua lulus ya.

Sekarang, kita jalani dulu sebaik mungkin. Semoga, kita segera naik kelas.

Goodbye 2020 Hello 2021

El año 2020 está por terminar. Este año de 2020, año bisiesto, fue muy triste para muchas personas en el mundo, que perdieron familiares, amigos, conocidos. Fue un año inolvidable para todos, fue un año de aprendizaje, lecciones de vida, grandes desafíos y batallas. Millones de personas se han ido, sin poder  ser despedidas, pero nosotros hemos sobrevivido a esta catástrofe, esto significa que debemos, en este  fin de año, reflexionar sobre el verdadero sentido de la vida y la familia, sobre el sentido de la solidaridad, el amor, el abrazo , al prójimo. No debemos perder la esperanza, debemos estar unidos para ser más fuertes y enfrentar nuevos desafíos. El 2020 vino para mostrarnos lo vulnerables que somos y cómo deberíamos ser más humildes, más sensibles y más humanos. Que este AÑO DIFERENTE que está por terminar sea un encuentro de paz, amor, LUZ de FE, ESPERANZA, UNIÓN, FUERZA con SALUD y REFLEXIÓN.
