Because I don't think that soft dom Spencer is that much out of character. Honestly, I find it more accurate than some of the sub! Spencer I saw. Spencer is a worshipper, he's sub in that way but he is dom in the way he handles things. I'm not sure this is clear so let me explain-

Mentally Spencer is a sub, physically he's a dom.

Let's talk about early seasons Spencer first. Because that Spencer was not confident nor experienced enough to dom. He was supposed to be a chronically virgin. BUT, but, but- listen- have you seen the way he kissed that girl in the pool in season 1? Lyla? I think? Anyway, Amber Heard. The way he kisses Amber Heard in that pool SCREAMS dom. I think he always had that dog in him you know? He was just not expressing it. But oh boy-

The more we go through the seasons the more he becomes confident and cocky. Remember that episode in season 3 with the kid shooting the people from his school? Where he disrespected Hotch's orders and just sent everybody to fuck themselves? Or the "This is calm, and it's doctor". See what I'm talking about? He becomes sassy and cocky and he let his little "dom side" out.

But that being said Spencer is not violent or whatever and even "soft dom" is a bit too harsh for him. It's "really really really soft soft dom Spencer". It's dom Spencer in the bedroom who puts his whole heart into the deed, hm?

NONETHELESS, Spencer is a hot mess, he whimpers and cries, he's needy and putty in your hands. Soft dom Spencer is a worshipper. He wouldn't utter the word "mommy" no- But he would ask for your praises. Dude, he has such a praise kink. I think it's more the type to ask if he's making you feel good, if you love him, if you love what he's doing, etc. And boy he learns fast on that field so YES.

And it gets worse after prison. Post-prison Reid is even more "soft dom", it grows. He becomes more clingy, more firm in his touches, his hands are always on you, he's always needing reassurance, always needing you to listen to what he says to you because he is an anxious little bean. He will do nasty things to you while worshipping just to hear you tell him he did good. After prison he's rougher in his touches, he becomes more manhandling. But it's still Spencer so it's not that much violent but.

Soft dom Spencer is just a worship sub. He doesn't degrade or whatever. He just needs to be reassured by your obedience and he puts PASSION in rewarding you.

I think he's heavy on foreplay and stuff, even more than in the deed itself. I mean, once again, THE KISSES PEOPLE THE KISSES. The way he fucking kissed Cat against that door? I swear to God OPJFGHIOEZK. I am SPIRALLING.

wait so garou loves tareo a lot. he’s super protective of him and always come in at the very last second to save the kid. garou is very oblivious to his protective nature over the kid but we can all see just how much he adores him. ergo, when cosmic garou finally sees tareo dead on the ground, he loses all his motivation to become evil. garou finally sees what destruction he’s brought about and hates it. he goes so far as to turn back time to prevent this terrible future.

on the other hand, we have saitama. he also clearly cares about genos. he’s constantly worrying that genos has gone and gotten himself destroyed in some way or another. like garou, he’s oblivious to how much he cares for genos. like garou, he always shows up to save the day at the very last second but unlike the self-proclaimed villain, he shows up after genos has already been hurt and the villain has destroyed most of everything. when saitama sees genos dead on the ground (parallel with garou’s experience with tareo later, which is not at all a coincidence), he doesn’t look at the destruction around him and try to think of a way to save everyone or fix the situation. saitama goes on a rampage. he destroys jupiter and jupiter’s moon, almost blows up earth without hesitation, and becomes so antagonistic that he looks like a villain (shaded face, large eyes devoid of empathy).

the only reason saitama doesn’t kill garou is because tareo requested him not to. saitama was completely, wholeheartedly ready to take a life. he didn’t think twice about the destruction he’d brought about on earth or on jupiter. he had gained a sense of purpose: to avenge genos. and it seems that he had no limitations on how far he would go to follow through with it. garou and saitama had two very different reactions to the death of the person they were clinging to (and i love it).

in summary, garou is a self-proclaimed villain with heroic tendencies while saitama is a self-proclaimed hero with villainous tendencies.

I went to my first plant swap and man. It was WILD.

Keep in mind I heard about the plant swap a little over 24 hours before it was happening. I have no plants to exchange, I barely even have seedlings yet. But I do have a bunch of seeds so I decide to roll up and see what I can do.

Its from 2 to 5. I show up at 2:12 and its mostly houseplants. But the local library branch has a tent and they’re letting people check out some gardening books they brought if they have a library card on them!

So I checked out “Seedswap: The gardener’s guide to saving and swapping seeds” by Josie Jeffery!

Woohoo!

(They also told me that if I want the library to set up seed libraries I should email showing interest because a lot of librarians have suggested it but public interest is needed 👀 special reminder to email/contact your local library about adding seed libraries if you haven’t got one already!)

I considered leaving but I decide to hang around and see if anyone else comes around with stuff that’s more my fancy (no disrespect to people who like houseplants but I have a 99% killrate with them and they’re just not my vibe) and

I obtained a Boxcar tomato, a Blackberry Lily, a variegated pepper, a hibiscus cutting, loofah seeds, okra seeds, and FOUR (4!!!!) peach tree seedlings!!!

HELLO??????

I spent like 6 bucks total (1 on a peach tree seedling, 5 on the pepper) and the rest was just seed trades (or the peach tree lady just… giving me more peach trees for being nice. Be nice to the elderly you might get peach trees out of it.) I was there for like an hour and a half TOPS.

(I had to pot up the peach tree seedlings myself but this is still a W in my book lets see if they survive)

what im trying to say is, canonly, jason is a complicated, angry, messy character, who had sweet moments and terrible moments, specially after his retcon, and i really like him even though his writers didnt
