#Onthisday: Nov 19th, 2016
Title: Extreme Daphne Type Sthesia Excellia
I've seen a gameplay arcade of Extreme Gundam Type Sthesia Excellia from "Mobile Suit Gundam EXTREME VS Maxi Boost ON" (both 2016 arcade and the console PS4 exclusive), and It so awesome game that I've ever seen. Unfortunately, the Gundam Versus arcade game is exclusively to Japan. 🕹️🇯🇵 That is, until 2020 when Bandai Namco released the console port for the PS4 as an exclusive (both inside and outside Japan), but it can also run on Sony's next gen, the PS5 (with loading process was completely non-existed). 🙂
• Click here to watch a gameplay - [CLICK ME!]. 🖱️🖥️
• That's why, I drew Daphne with her new "Cuteness Mecha Armor", "Extreme Type Sthesia Excellia". 😁🐰🤖
Extreme Daphne Type Sthesia Excellia Came from the real: Extreme Gundam Type Sthesia Excellia [CLICK ME!].
Armament(s):
Beam Sabers • The unit's standard close combat weapon. This weapon is also used as throwable beam daggers.
Kreuz des Südens • The unit's standard long ranged armament. In its normal folded form, it functions like an ordinary high-powered beam rifle akin to a launcher weapon or can fire a large devastating beam. At full power, it unfolds to reveal several beam guns to expand its range.
Halbmond • Excellia's unique melee weapon that resembles a long beam sword. Rather than being stored physically on the machine, it is materialized from data out of thin air.
Sphere Bits • A set of sphere bits used to remotely attack any opponents. These are launched from the hand.
Shield Bits • A set of round shield bits located on the shoulders that can protect the Excellia or allies from enemy attacks.
Special Feature(s):
Link Rephaser • Invokes the power of the Dark Sthesias, allowing the use of one attack from each of the armor Extreme Rephaser variants. From the Tachyon, it brandishes the Halbmond and charges at the opponent. From Carnage, the Gundam fires a large orange beam of energy from both hands. Using Ignis, it fires three spheres of freezing energy in a fanning formation to immobilize enemies. Through the Mystic, it twirls the Halbmond above its head, creating a powerful whirlwind that sends enemy mobile suits flying into the air.
Milchstraße • This unit's Burst Attack, the head's hat-like visor locks into place as it fires a fanning radiating beam from the Kreuz des Südens in cross mode. Magic circles are also formed beneath its feet to form a potent barrier that protects it from all incoming attacks.

If you get a PS4, would you consider getting Gundam Versus?
I own Extreme VS and Extreme VS Full Boost for the PS3, if that answers your question.

i managed to find cheap copies of another century episode r and gundam extreme versus extreme vs full boost ex ultra hyper full encore exceed full boost versus vs versus extreme ex at the con as well but they were just buried under a pile of shit. there was a stall selling japanese games separated by console, and the ps3 bin just didnt have even the slightest bit of organisation. you would think theyd put the actual japan exclusive games at the top to draw people in, but all of that was buried under 50 japanese copies of mlb 2012 and uncharted 2. did find out jpn mvc cover art rocks tho

Something weird that I fined about Gundam Versus?
There is no Victory music. I do not understand why. Especially since Gundam Extreme vs. Full boost had victory music for when you win.
It’s EVEN MORE WEIRD because you get “You lose” music.
So why is there no music for when I win? That’s super weird. and just seems lazy.
Honestly even though I LOVE Gundam Versus and even would say this is my top game of the year so far. There unfortunately seem to be a lot of questionable decisions that they made with this game compared to all the other releases.
Gundam extreme vs. full boost had a unit from most of every series. so a lot of every series was covered from the get go and more were added later.
Gundam Versus on the other hand? Doesn’t even have any units from G GUNDAM of all things yet.
G FREAKING GUNDAM!! WHY!
And it even missed a big opportunity to bring in new units from Gundam Build fighters. As there is so far only one unit from Build fighters and it’s not even from the show.
It’s super weird. I just hope that this game continue’s to bring in units I want but it’s sorta a double edge sword as it’s like the MvC:I thing where most of the shit you want is going to be DLC.
Dumb.

JESSE’S GUNPLA SHOWCASE #03
HIGH GRADE GN—0000GNHW/7SG 00 GUNDAM SEVEN SWORDS
ORIGIN: MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM 00
PILOT: SETSUNA F. SEIEI
DATE KIT WAS ACQUIRED: MAY 2011
DATE KIT FINISHED ASSEMBLY: MAY 2011
I took a break from Gunpla building after the MG Exia to focus on my Senior Year at HS, as well as my job at the time, which was becoming stressful with the fall arriving. It wasn’t until the Spring the next year that I got enough cash for some more Gunpla.  I got my drive to build Gunpla back, something that comes and goes. At times I build too much Gunpla, and I get kinda tired of it. So a minor break is sometimes needed.
Once again, my next Gunpla raid that Spring came in a pair.  I didn’t go to the Train/Hobby Store in Pewaukee this time, but a Anime/Comics store in the South Side of Milwaukee named Lost World of Wonders.  My original intention going there believe it or not was to buy a PG 00 Raiser that I was told was there for a steal of a price at $60.  It was already bought, and I was slightly heartbroken. But I found their incredibly massive shelf of Gunpla, and it was an instant cure.
They had Everything. HG’s, MG’s, 1/100’s, Non-Grades, Giant kits, You name it. They even had some of the old, low-quality kits Bandai came out with in the late 80’s-early 90’s.
So I purchased two HG’s, and this HG 00 Seven Swords kit was one of them as a means to fuel my passion for 00 even more.
This one was fun to put together. I had gotten some more tools, including two paint pens that I used for the head of this Gundam. A silver one for part of the face, and a gold one for the V-fin (they didn’t have any yellow pens.)  After this kit, I retired my small piece of scissors that I cut parts off the runners for, after I nearly broke off the handle of one of the hookshot sword on the Gundam’s left side. I went to my local ACE store and got me a pair of small model cutters for my next kit.
I LOVE HOW THIS BAD BOY HAS SO MANY SWORDS!! Setsuna sure loved them damn swords. I would’ve loved to see this suit in action in the show or the movie; It’s just like the Exia: A big, blue Swiss Army Knife.
At least I got to play as this suit in Gundam Extreme VS: Full Boost when it was released as DLC about two years ago. It’s lovely.
My next kit broke the 00 mold my Gunpla collection was going for. But it only was a matter of time before I began…
…my first Universal Century Gunpla kit.
Next Time on Jesse’s Gunpla Showcase:
HG ZETA GUNDAM
(Be on the lookout for this one, especially if you have an RP blog for a Zeta Gundam Character here on tumblr. 😉)

Extreme Vs Maxi Boost ON’s Beta Brings Arcade Action to PS4
May 5, 2020 11:30 AM EST
Coming to consoles for the first time this summer, Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs Maxi Boost ON seems to deliver exciting mech action.
In the past few weeks, Bandai Namco held a closed network beta test for their upcoming 3D arena fighter, Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost ON. For those unfamiliar with what this game is, or any of the series as a whole, the Gundam Vs. games pit teams of two players against one another using mecha that span the entire franchise history, in an open arena. Starting its life in 2001 on the PlayStation 2 with Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon, this game sowed the seeds for a franchise that would see a plethora of sequels on home consoles, the PSP and Vita, and would find much success and popularity in Japanese arcades.
youtube
For a long time, the West was unfortunately skipped over with many of these releases, but luckily the last couple of titles have finally made the jump. With Maxi Boost ON, we will be getting this console port the same time as Japan this summer! Here are my impressions of how the game is coming together now that it is on home consoles.
This particular entry in the series was initially released in Japanese arcades back in 2016 and features more than 180 mobile suits for players to choose from, with this console port receiving select units that are exclusive to this version. The point of a match is to deplete your opponents’ reinforcement gauge, which allows you or your teammate to re-spawn. Each unit is assigned a point cost; stronger choices require higher costs. This makes each re-spawn drain more from your team’s reinforcement bar, causing you to have to balance risk versus reward when choosing your party makeup.
“With Maxi Boost ON, we will be getting this new console port the same time as Japan.”
The recent beta was geared towards testing network stability for its online PVP matches. This is an integral part of the survival of this game because of the fast-paced and twitch-reaction precision needed in online matches. The modes available to players were limited to player matches in custom rooms, casual random matches, and local multiplayer free play. The latter of which allowed players to practice against AI-controlled opponents, testing out the massive roster which appeared to complete with exception to the new console exclusives. I spent some time in this mode and found it especially helpful that I was then able to turn off the AI altogether, allowing me to practice without worry of also contending with enemies.
When it came to online matches, I spent a good amount of time between both the random casual matches and time in the player match rooms. In both cases, most of the time, I had minor to no issue with the connection dropping any inputs, even during the more frantic moments of combat. I did experience a few matches where I encountered connection issues that would range from stuttering and lag to full-on dropped connections, resulting in being kicked out to the lobby or party screen. If I had to estimate, the ratio between fights with smooth connections to those I had issues with would land somewhere around the mark of 85% being fine, to 15% having issues. Certainly not bad, but enough to warrant some hopeful adjustments and refinement before the retail release.
“Many will find Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost ON to be an exciting battleground to fight in.”
Jumping into casual matches with random opponents was quick and painless, with it rarely taking longer than 10 seconds to drop me into a game. Battles don’t linger and tend to last only a few minutes, so being able to get back into a game quickly is paramount with this sort of play. From what I played, this is a task that Maxi Boost ON succeeded in with flying colors.
My experience with the Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost ON beta left me feeling comfortable that the game will be a good shape for its summer release. As a long-time fan of the Gundam franchise, I am always thrilled when a new game in the series gets localized that I can support. The hectic combat of the game won’t be for everyone, but for those that enjoy arena fighters and tense matches filled with lasers and explosions, many will find Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost ON to be an exciting battleground to fight in.
