13. do you have a favorite genre or dabble in it all?

i would say dabble in it all because I do consciously try to always be expanding my music taste as much as i can but im gonna keep it real with everyone even despite my best efforts at the end of the day i pretty much stick to everything that is I think most commonly labeled as alternative or modern rock but im a HUGE rap/hip hop fan (both old school and experimental and west & east coast) and i rly enjoy psychedelic genres as well

15. who is the most underrated artist in your opinion?

it’s definitely gotta be this artist called cullah. ive been a fan of him for abt 7-8 years now but he’s still insanely unpopular and the reason im recommending him is not because i think there’s even like a 5% chance he’s ever gonna reach anything close to mainstream popularity but just because I think it’s genuinely criminal that the side of tumblr who listens to weird (not like tally hall & lemon demon weird but actually things with strange ass sounds and lyrics) music would definitely appreciate his insane creativity and what he’s got going on in general. He’s definitely not for everyone i don’t even think i could really compare him to anyone bc i don’t remember ever having heard anything that would remind me of his style and tbh hes got a lot of borderline idiosyncratic stinkers for sure but his album ‘cullah the wild’ is incredible and fun and really accessible. im gonna put his spotify description here for anyone who’s interested bc i doubt I’m gonna do a better job of explaining what his thang is but just look at this shit

ČR mezi velrybáře Zajímavá myšlenka napadla středoevropské pobočky nadnárodní party Greenpeace. Ti desátého března zahájili kampaň za vstup České republiky, Slovenska, Maďarska a Polska do Mezinárodní velrybářské komise. Pokud tam totiž tyto země vstoupí a následně se připojí v hlasování k ostatním, kteří chtějí zachránit velryby, mohl by být zákaz komerčního lovu velryb ustanoven již na červnovém zasedání International Whales Comitee v Berlíně. Na webu českých Greenpeace je kromě obšírných informací ke stažení občanská petice adresovaná vládě. Tu už – pokud vám to přijde inspirativní - mimochodem podepsaly i některé české osobnosti. Kupříkladu spisovatel Ivan Klíma, zpěvačky Hana Hegerová, Marta Kubišová, Anna K a vegetarián Petr Vachler.

Miloš Pokorný & Roman Ondráček Duo Těžkej Pokondr před nedávnem prodělalo vcelku pozoruhodný přerod. Ze dvou kolotočářských diskofilů se doslova přes noc stali věrozvěsti alternativního rocku a taneční hudby. Pro realizaci této osobní mise si zvolili lokální rádio Expres, kterému údajně vtiskli cosi jako image. Oba hoši dramaturgicky prozřeli a do selektoru začali cpát třeba Coldplay a nebo Morcheebu. Připusťme, že ona stanice se tak - na veskrze primitivním českém radiovém tržišti - mohla leckomu jevit pozitivně. A že se i dala poslouchat. Ale nechtějte po nás, abychom ji velebili za to, že v rámci svých computerových rotací hraje britské hitparádové fláky. Na tom opravdu není nic světoborného. Obdobnou "dramaturgii" dá dohromady každý průměrný středoškolák, který v příslušném jazyce umí číst, psát a používat internet. Ona mediálně provařená "statistická nula" je jistě nemilá věc, ale tak už to u nás v Senegalu holt chodí: všichni se koukají na Novu a poslouchají Impuls. A nejméně divit, by se tomu měli právě pánové Ondráček a Pokorný, kteří za tento úpadek nesou svou část odpovědnosti. Za ta čísla totiž nemůže MediaProjekt. Za ta čísla můžou všichni, kdo kvůli penězům zapírají sami sebe.
