Toasted Floof: A Dog-Friendly Meringue
Ingredients:
2 Egg Whites
1/2 teaspoon Lemon Juice
2-4 Tablespoons Honey
Directions:
1. Separate egg whites into a large mixing bowl
2. Add lemon juice and a teaspoon of honey
3. Mix on high until foam forms and add a half teaspoon of honey
4. Continue mixing, continually adding honey, 1/2 teaspoon at a time until peaks form
5. Bake at 200 F for 20-30 minutes (depending on the depth of the ramekin) until tacky and a little bouncy
6. Turn the heat up to 350 F and bake another 7 minutes until peaks are golden brown
7. Allow to cool and enjoy!
**Note to Daisy: Serve with Breakfast Salad and Turkey Chasers for a Waffles Serving.
