Why Diet & Exercise Do Not Work for Weight Loss? Weight loss is not about restricting calories and exercising to create a calorie deficit. It is a self-love and healing journey of the body, mind, and soul. Calories in and calories out have nothing to do with your weight. That's why calorie deficit does not work. Weight gain is nothing you can get arrested for, but excessive weight gain is unhealthy enough for you to do a self arrest. This may or may not include cutting back on your favorite calories, self purging and burning through varieties of #yoga or #workout from home or a gym, mindful eating, and the likes. But before skipping to the part where you tackle the obvious issue of extra size, how about you begin from the underlying one like why the weight keep adding up?... 1. Your insulin level may be on a roll. 2. You're compounding so much stress and exhaustion. 3. You may want scrutinize those allergy pills. 4. Your food serving's prolly not as harmless as you think. 5. What if you're eating the right thing at the wrong time, say late night? 6. Your calorie intake may be off the charts. 7. No offence but age factor... Maybe? 🤷 8. You're bailing out on your fitness routine. 9. Maybe your anti-depressant medications isn't as side effect free as you originally thought. 10. You're doing too much couch and TV. 11. How about not junking up too much? 12. Your lifestyle leans more on the sedentary side. 13. You might be having an undiagnosed medical issue. 14.
