It's finally here! The (un)official battle to see who's really the baddest bitch, the babygirl, the skrunkly, the ultimate sexywoman of the Aphmau universe!

The first round will have 3 matchups per week; subsequent rounds will be 2 per week. All matchups will be decided via a random number generator. The four candidates left out of the first round will be randomized into the second.

My version of Aaron sees Laurence as a non-threat because of how easy it is to bring him back down. Sure, he respects that Laurence is in theory dangerous, but there’s a difference between being capable of extreme harm and actually causing that harm. Of course a campfire can easily start a forest fire, but is it really going to if it’s being managed properly?

Aaron has problems with how Aphmau handles Laurence because Aphmau’s way is much more like shoving your hand in a scared dog’s mouth and hoping it remembers not to bite. Kissing him isn’t liable to work, he’s very likely to assume you’re trying to attack him if you’re invading his space like that.

Of course, handing him Lilith isn’t the best way to handle it either, but he’s keenly aware that Laurence is all but physically incapable of hurting her on purpose. She’s a baby, she’s tiny and helpless, he’s not going to think she’s a threat even if he thinks Aaron might be.

Gauuugh this is so good. I also love the idea that Aphmau objects to this, wanting to put herself in harms way over Lilith, but Aaron knows it's not the same thing and truly Aph is more at risk. Because Aph has never had to fear hurting her own children, but Aaron, who accidentally caused the death of his son knows that only a true monster would kill a child. And he Knows Laurance is not that.

The whole "the Artifact is a living thing" came from this post where I answered an ask completely unrelated from it but i like making excuses to info dump.

Also! I think I've jotted down a design for Cube when she becomes CTM (equivalent to Blixer's New Games version + crown) while Blixer here is New Games with more cat-like behaviors and over protective instincts over the artifact.

CTM is tired cause she had to fight The Nameless one through a fucking volcano just to get the artifact back and give it to NG who is now calm (like giving an egg to a chicken). Yes, NG has that orange cat behavior, please do not separate the artifact from him or he will lose his mind again.
