#Hellvua boss spoilers

Just watched the newest Helluva boss episode.

First, yay! Octavia and Loona got to meet! They have that sisterly bond I imagined, thank goodness. Already shows they'll be great step sisters in the futuer. Loona already gives off big sisters vibes and Octavia the little sister. I just love it.

Second, Millie and Moxie being wholesome, as always. And it's absolutely adorable how Moxie 100% supports amateur artists. Just seems like something he would do.

Third, Stolas disguise. Love how he kept his impossible height. 🤣

And finally, the father and daughter moments. Too cute, too sweet, too everything. From Loonas back story to how sweetly protective the dads were.

"YOU CAN'T HAVE MY BABY B!@CH! I'LL NEVER GET RID OF HER!!!" *causes a shooting while calling the man a pervert.*

Best thing I've ever heard a cartoon dad say. 🤣

Ok, here's another incredibly small thing that I noticed

So, in this scene, Blitz does his (frankly very good) Stolas impression and he refers to himself as "Blitzy" not just once but TWICE.

Here's the thing though

Stolas hasn't been calling him "Blitzy" recently. In fact, he hasn't called him that since Ozzie's.

So why is Blitz saying this even though he's said that he doesn't like the nickname multiple times?

I noticed this because because Stolas using that nickname is a big deal. It carries a lot of weight and it symbolizes the rift in their relationship after Ozzie's so Blitz using it now also feels like a deal (not a BIG deal necessarily, but a deal)

So, I have 3 guesses:

He's doing it subconsciously because, deep down, he misses the time when their relationship was simpler. He wants to go back to a time before the big emotional falling out happened and what they had was nothing more than transactional fucking

2. He's doing it consciously as a way to ignore the problems they've been having and to avoid thinking about any of it. A sort of mental "Yup, we're all good, no need to worry about it"

3. He secretly likes the nickname and he's just being Tsundere about it

Barbie Wire's Absence From The Flashback Episodes

Despite being buildup as such a hyped character, there is always the fact that Barbie is never seen in the flashbacks including the parts of Fizz's history with Blitzo. And this recent episode she was actually deleted from final cut. Again the excuse is the focus is on Fizz, but Fizz is also featured in the Circus and the focus was on Stolitz as children but Barbie could have been squeezed in somehow but it never crosses Vivziepoop's mind which doesn't help the allegations she treats her female characters like shit. Like how does she feel about Fizz: Did she see platonically or romantically? Did she keep in contact with him at ay time? Were they as close with each other as her brother? etc. Again none of this is known because she's not shown. She is just as important to Blitzo's backstory as Fizz, but Vivziepoop doesn't give the time and effort like Fizz. Again just a product of her shitty storytelling.

It Was Too Easy Getting This Asmodean Crystal Without Controversy

Seriously, again it's really anti-climatic about how Stolas is suggesting a simple imp get one and the fact he's been letting him use the grimoire to do so. Again there was emphasis when the business was actually important that everything concerning using the grimoire had to be hush or the higher authorities would come down. But we see one of them and he's non-chalant but is more focused on the fact that Blitzo is hated by his boy toy and not because he's doing something illegal by hell standards.

And at the end of the episode where Fizz patches things up with Blitzo, he recommends he have it so again the imps will be able to get a crystal and it's not without any true teeth pulling. Seriously, they set up conflicts and they easily get solved it just feels like such a fart like so many other things in this episode.
