#Help for sinus headaches

i know i haven’t been super active lately, if i can be completely honest i’ve been in a writing slump where nothing i write feels good enough. and it’s made it nearly impossible to sit down and do it.

and not to lean into the ao3 author curse, but my life has been really hectic lately. i recently moved and i got promoted to full time at my job which means i have even less time on my hands.

beyond that i’ve been getting more into dnd/dimension 20, i still watch a lot of the hermits but i’m a lot more passive in terms of the hermitcraft community.

i’m still chugging along with writing the merlin au, the five + one fic, and a few others but it’s extremely slow going. like a sentence or two every few weeks.

i figured i’d give you guys an update, just to let you know where i’m at and such. and to thank you, for every day that i wake up and have an email saying that someone has left a kudos on one of my fics. it means a lot to me, more than i could put into words.

my mom kinda isn’t keen on taking ibuprofen and other stuff like that bc it’s not good for your body overall in the long-term but i read that James Herriot story about the dog who was sick and not getting better and in the end just needed a dose of painkillers for long enough for its body to rest so it could actually heal at a very young and formative age and that honestly affected a lot of my mindset on painkillers and things like that

Also!!! I had my first full meal tonight! I've mostly been chomping on pretzel sticks or eating nothing at all these past couple days; while my appetite wasn't entirely gone, I just didn't have the energy to eat so I kinda let my stomach grumble as I laid in bed in and out of naps :d

15:What WIP are you taking into next year with you?: One of them is a fic titled: People Who Never Raised Clark Kent. It's a 5+1 crossover fic, featuring various characters in different fandoms who could have raised baby Kal-El. (the +1 of course would be about the people who did raise Clark Kent. Because Martha and Jonathan deserve the world)

16. What’s your most common “Additional Tags” tag?: I think it's tied between Flash Fiction and Crossovers and Fandom Fusions. I'm a sucker for both.

17. Your favorite character to write this year?: Ooh this is a hard one! I almost said Brian O'Connor because I spend the most time with that fic, but to be honest I'm still not confident I got him completely right. I have to say Joe West in father son. He's the one character that came to me so easily this year.

Well on the positive side, I think I'm over the hump cause I had a fever of 102 this morning and it broke around midday. I was able to see the doctor and got antibiotics today too. Now all I need is more rest.*sigh* I think my body has been fighting a few different viruses cause my symptoms have been all over the place. Plus I've been feeling more tired and weak weeks before now. At least it has been addressed and my body has treatment to fully recover. I hope I can get well enough to DoorDash next week. Dearest Jesus, please heal and help my body recover soon. You know I have responsibilities that are weighting on me, and I wish to be well so I may do them. You know my heart Lord. I simply wish to be my best, and surrender the rest to you! Amen
