It's so interesting having friends who like genuinely do care about you but don't really like Dream/Dream's community that much but they know you're a dream stan and they respect that and are really nice to you about it and try they're best to not shit talk Dream around you and stuff

But like

It was a little funny during their learning period of not talking like a dranti (like they would to their other friends) cause if any dranti stuff would get brought up it was like "-I mean uh, Dream himself isn't bad, y'know, it's cool you like him it's hiiiiisss community that's bad and toxic, yeah his fans are horrible and awful"

And I'd have to explain to them, slowly and with detail why saying his fans doesn't make me feel any better because that's literally saying that me, a Dream stan, is toxic and my friends are toxic

They got it eventually and started figuring out how weird dranti lingo was

But thinking back on it it's funny how them trying not to make me feel bad via not shit talking/saying Dream is bad, was them correcting themself to say his fans were bad and toxic
