1 A.) Technically, this is a two part question because I started writing when I was like... ten. I started in SCHOOL, actually, in fourth grade. I wrote these DOG ass DBZ fanfics for show and tell, and a friend group formed a whole expanded universe for me. We made characters, wrote their stories, and drew comics. Not only was it the birth of my creative passion, but those friends would help me meet my brother, and their enthusiasm would lead me on to make my more prolific muses later down the line. I fostered my writing by making dog ass Doctor Who Minecraft videos with my friends. I still keep up with them, and our passion for writing is still at an all-time high.

1 B.) I started roleplaying when I was twelve. I joined tumblr back in early 2010 - 2012? I interacted a LOT with the Superwholock fandom and the Sonic fandom, as those were the most prolific fandoms on the platform at the time. Tumblr was a wasteland back then, and poor little Alex had no idea how to make any blogs or do any fancy artwork. I joined when ASK BLOGS were the biggest thing on the platform. Once Undertale got popular, I got roped into that fandom and by proxy some discord servers (as Discord was starting to become popular around that time).

17) This is a contentious topic. I have no idea who my FIRST muse REALLY WAS. I think it was The Doctor. I remember making them all their own seperate blogs that were interconnected because I had no idea you could do multimuse blogs when I was a wee shitlord. These versions are just... matured/refined versions of the Doctor's I made when I was a kid. I was super into Doctor Who when I started roleplaying, so I just kinda got easily absorbed into the fandom. I remember there was this guy who made a deadpool version of his muse, and he kept trying to send me Magic Anons that turned my Doctor's into canon versions (I DO NOT miss Magic Anons. Some of them lasted for months.) I remember young Alex being upset about being turned into canon Doctors. Made his feel unwanted. However!! Now I am god! I make the rules!!! No magic anons.

29) Complicated. I don't hate Doctor Who's current canon - it's just CONFUSING as all balls. I think I really just wanted to try something new, as I'd been writing just villains nonstop up to this point, and that got really bad for my mental health. I wanted to get back into the swing and do something that gave me a lot of creative freedom. I used to be group roleplays only, and that was hard for my mental health. There was a lot of drama and a lot of hate, and it was pretty cliquey. I decided I wanted to build my pipeline, but with a character I could really get into with it. Did I think I'd fall down the Genshin Rabbit hole??? No, but The Doctor has given me the opportunity to make all sorts of friends (shoutout to @kemikorosu @lunaetis @terestris, @verdantstride and all my muttuals for putting up with all my crazy time travel horseshit---) and I've never been happier with an RPC. It feels like I've crafted a really fun experience for myself by writing my own canon? Is it MESSY? Yeah. Is it fun as HELL?? For SURE. Doctor Who changes so much, and it's canon is fucking balls to the walls. In that chaos, I've crafted something really fun, and the friends I write with are what make me come back to this hellsite :>

36) I sure hope so. They're based on my own personal experiences. Every doctor here has been crafted and molded with inspiration taken from my own life. I feel like every character, whether it be canon or original - always had a tiny part of it's writer imbued within them, and for The Doctor - that's never been more relevant than with these five. How do you write these many Doctor's, who are ageless, emotional, and complicated individuals? Here is my lore document dubbed "The fuck it everything is canon au"

My version of canon: no sbi family canon! Even if it is best, I wanted to do elaborate backstories, and they are all Like brothers, with phil being Like a dad

Pre SMP Earth: Wilbur: he starts on this universe’s version of smplive. He meets schlatt and they become close friends. They start up business ventures together, only for it to go horribly wrong, with the server collapsing in on itself over time. Lost, he decides to try out tournament competition in the form of Minecraft Monday (I’d give it an actual name lmao), aka melees, pvp, etc. Think hunger games except voluntary and you don’t actually die.

Techno: becoming famous as a competitor on Hypixel! This is where he begins to take on the blood god persona, and develop a reputation for being a strong pvper. Looking for what to do with this, he joins, you guessed it: MCM

Phil: after holding a record for longest amount of time survived in a hard core world, he dies, thrusting his name up into fame in pvp circles. Sure enough, he gets invited to participate in MCM.

Tommy: still a kid lmao, but grows up as techno’s little brother in hypixel, idolizing him even as he grows more detached

Tournament Era: As fate would have it, crowd favorite Wilbur Soot (he’s not good at competing but charismatic and friendly) gets teamed with top competitor Technoblade (loved, but also feared and not treated kindly by some of his competitors)! No one thinks they’re going to hit it off, but even though they don’t win, they get on like a house on fire.

Shortly after, Techno and Phil get teamed, and then Phil and Wilbur, and there’s a moment of realization of “huh, we’re kind of a power trio, and all good friends now.” they mesh together unbelievably well as competitors, but also as genuine friends. Tommy is like the little brother hanging out with the cool older kids.

MCM essentially ends somehow, but while wilbur goes off to meet the sky gods and basically get traumatized in pursuit of knowledge and connections, phil and techno decide to take over a world: SMP earth

SMP Earth: for a while, phil and techno rule by themselves over smp earth, calling themselves the Antarctic Empire (their home base), but they quickly realize they need like… a pr person, because they’re good at the taking over but not the keeping people happy part.

Enter Wilbur. They invite him and he’s like lmao what, but accepts the job. He instantly starts making negotiations with other worlds, weaseling his way into the techno phil duo, and generally improving the now infamous rep they have. Og sbi is at its strongest here, and they truly do good work together

Wilbur’s work includes meeting Niki and having her as a liaison with Chelor, her home server (aka the loh fic I wrote), making connections just in general, and so, so much hearing out citizen’s complaints.

He also starts getting a lot closer with techno’s brother tommy, who he sees a lot of himself in, and tommy slowly starts to favor wilbur because he like, actually pays attention to him. Tommy starts business bay in some capacity, but also spends a lot of time shadowing wilbur and learning from him.

Things are going well mostly, but because of an elaborate conflict I’ve started writing out, wilbur gets into an elaborate argument with phil and techno about Political Things, and the Empire splits up for plot reasons I won't disclose in case I ever actually write it. While they try to pretend like this won’t affect their personal relationship, it clearly does and they all know it

This starts not only wilbur’s Words over Weapons policy, but Techno’s deep seated distrust of government and the belief it makes people and relationships worse, along with Phil siding with Techno over Wilbur (Tommy supports Wilbur, but quietly™)

What could’ve been one of the powerhouses of the universe with sbi’s skills crumbles due to ideological differences and personal issues, rip. Once again, they try to pretend like everything is fine, but in the next tournament they compete in together (this universe’s mcc 7 and mcc has been going on in the background whoops), it’s another big blow up fight that causes Wilbur to angrily leave over their loss, fracturing them fully

Hot off the anger of this disaster, Wilbur fucks off to the dream smp , where he meets up with Tommy, and the dsmp plot as we know it kickstarts.

Oof, this is one that I might have a legit kinda controversial take on?? So thanks for potentially signing my death warrant, @oraclemilf. /j

Obligatory disclaimer that this is all /rp! I'm talking about the characters on Dream SMP unless stated otherwise! And this is all in good think-y fun! This is all just my opinion on a silly Minecraft roleplay! :)

TL;DR: I think it was justified for the Butcher Army to arrest and try Technoblade for his actions on November 16th (regardless of him “retiring from violence” after the fact). However, I believe the way they went about doing so was unethical and the fact they never intended to give him a proper trial was 100% unjust.

So, in all honesty, I have conflicting feelings on Techno's execution and how the Butcher Army treated him? Because I do consider what Techno did on November 16th (summoning two Withers and setting off more TNT) to be terrorism and a betrayal. I think he and Pogtopia betrayed each other because they had god awful communication regarding their disparate goals from the moment Techno joined them. My understanding of the situation was/is: Wilbur told Techno they needed to take down Schlatt >> Techno took that to mean Pogtopia wanted to take down the government as a whole and agreed to help >> Wilbur (and the others) never clarified that they only wanted to get rid of Schlatt and that they were planning on reinstating the previous L'manberg government after winning >> Techno never picked up on Pogtopia's actual goals >> Techno felt betrayed on November 16th and attacked a newly formed New L'manberg with Withers.

The difference between the two betrayals though, is that Pogtopia's was an ideological betrayal that, realistically, would've had zero affect on Techno's life. Meanwhile, Techno's betrayal was very tangible. He caused a lot of physical damage and killed multiple people in the process. One of these things is an, admittedly, shitty thing to do to a friend and ally, but the other is literal terrorism.

The other thing that's usually brought up in Techno's defense (including by both Techno and Phil on December 16th and during Doomsday) is that Techno had "retired from violence" following November 16th. Which is nice, but the thing is Techno had already committed the crimes he was being arrested for. If you were to murder someone, you can't just get out of being tried for that murder because you don't do any more murders after? That's just... not how consequences work? Even on Dream SMP. And, beyond that, it's important to note that—until they actually trekked out to Techno's cabin to carry out the arrest—New L'manberg had no idea Techno had sworn off violence.

All of that in mind, I think it's completely reasonable for New L'manberg to see Techno as a threat to their country's security and for them to "bring him to justice" for his actions on November 16th.

Where my sympathies waver is in how they proceeded to do so.

First off, they very unnecessarily trashed Phil's house while searching it. Albeit, I do think it was fair for them search it in the first place since, from their perspective, Phil was aiding and abetting a wanted criminal. (And, unfortunately, due to being just a Minecraft roleplay server, there's no such thing as a search warrant on Dream SMP. :/) I also think it’s fair that Phil was placed under house arrest after they found undeniable evidence that he was doing just that.

But, by far the worst thing the Butcher Army did—that I absolutely cannot defend and am making no effort to—is that they tried to execute Techno without giving him a fair trial. And the only reason they weren't successful was because Techno had a Totem of Undying. Granted, I don't think a trial would've made the outcome any different, but it was a really bad call all the same.

Now, the issue gets messy on who specifically is at fault for that happening. Dream and Punz's interruption might’ve been at least partly to blame for it? But, even then, just before Tubbo’s speech, when Techno questioned the legitimacy of the trial, Quackity point-blank said, in front of everyone, “There is not going to be a trial, Technoblade. We are going to kill you.” And Tubbo added, “This is an execution.” [Techno’s POV @ 50:03] (Although, cc!Tubbo has since retconned it so that c!Tubbo didn't know that there wasn't going to be a trial? But I’ll leave it up to you whether you accept that or not.)

But the point is: at least Quackity, but also probably Tubbo and Fundy, were never planning to give Techno an actual trial—regardless of other circumstances. Which, in my opinion, is not only unjust but, frankly, immoral.

this post will be talking about all of the ghost au's ive created or co-created including talking about ghost au's from old fandom's that i am no longer in. if you want to ask about any of my au's my ask box and dm's are always open this includes the hermitcraft au but keep it to a minimum please also if any of the creator's of the characters have said that they arent comfortable with what im making ( with proof ofc) i will edit or delete what is needed to fit in the boundaries also another thing this is a long post if you just want the art go under the cut! this post will discuss how each au works and basic plot stuff about them the fandoms in this post are hermitcraft, epithet erased, and dsmp okay first things first-

my hermitcraft au (what a pity)-

On my old tumblr account I made a few posts about it along with a fanfic which never got finished due to me not wanting to interact with the fandom any more due to personal reasons and also I'm not very good at writing imo but I think I'm ready to talk about it again. Just keep in mind i will most likely not talk about this fandom ever again at least not on here again for personal preference : -) it was about season 6 Grian since he was who i was hyperfixating on at the time, being haunted by the ghosts of Sam and Taurtis, both of them from the old roleplay series' Yandere High School, and Tokyo Soul, and taurtis from Grians old-ish smp Evo. Since I never finished the fanfiction nobody but me and close friends ever got to hear the full story i had planned but now you will i guess. It was mainly just grian stressing about Sam and Taurtis being ghosts and him worrying about being crazy, though he would still join the hippies during the area 77 war he would be significantly more stressed especially when finding out that Sam and Taurtis have been possessing his body during the night, he’s more worried about Sam though because of his track record back in the other servers( yhs and ts) it was going to be that Sam (although death isn't permanent) would go on a killing spree in Grians body which would cause the area 77 guys to put him in the facility to see what's going on with him, and it didn't get further then that. My favorite part of this au much like all of my au’s were the design elements i had for it which i'll have under the cut with the other designs. Now for a rundown of how the ghost physics work in this world, in typical ghost fashion Sam and Taurtis were not able to touch or move anything, but they were able to interact with Grian, him being the only person who could see/hear/or touch them. Their only super natural abilities is being able to possess Grian.

Okay! Time for my Epithet Erased au!: Unlike what a pity this one doesn't have a name or a fanfic to go with it as said before i'm not exactly a writer but i have talked about it a bit before on this account along with posting the designs and general concept but i'll go more in depth here! As said in my original post this au was a co-creation with my best friend and sibling @brocolibean so go check bun out ^^ Unlike ‘What a Pity’ it was more lighthearted and comedy centric because it dealt with a bit more and also the original show is a comedy. This au didn't include the character’s epithets so they are all humans. This will also include talking about house each ghost died so if your uncomfortable hearing about that you might want to skip the ghosts portion Just like the original post I'll separate the story summary into 3 parts with intervals in between to talk about the ghosts. First we have the Banzai boys part of the story. Giovanni, Spike, Dark Star, Crusher, Flame Thrower, Car Crash, and Ben all decide to move into a house together so they could all easily split the rent since its close to their collage, the house, which they get for cheap, is aa very old house with sketchy history. But it's a huge house for cheap so they don't complain they encounter the ghosts very early on living in the house and they swear to figure out how they died so they can get their memory back! The ghosts, Molly, Sylvie, Trixie, and Pheonica have no memory! All they know is that there are ghosts! They are connected to the property of this house but if you where to get something- like perhaps a stone from the property the ghost is still technically attached to it therefore the ghost can go with you anywhere Speaking of- -Phoenicia Fleecity is one of the last ghosts to show herself, her body is found in the overgrown garden flowers growing over her skeleton, she is from the victorian era making her the oldest out of the ghosts though he death is the most mysterious -Molly Blindeff is the first ghost the group meets her decomposed body is found buried in the floorboards of the living room, found when gio decided that the house needed renovation and taking matters into his own hands, she died via blunt force trauma i will not be going into detail here because i'm still thinking of doing something with this au she died in the early 2000’s -Sylvester Ashling is the second ghost to show himself though he didn't want to, his body was found in the bottom of the pond in the backyard of the house in the garden. His body while it was decomposing and falling apart was still intact, bloated from drowning. Again i wont go into detail but this wasn't an accident time of death is unknown -Trixie Roughhouse is the third person to show themselves to the Banzai Blasters she is found in the bushes in the backyard her face disfigured from some sort of explosion unlike the others it seems like it was purely an accident, like sylvie their time of death is unknown Mera Salamin is the collages part time librarian nicknamed “the library witch” she started seeing her ghost after obtaining a neck bow with a blue pendant from a pawnshop she got it cause it was pretty and didn't expect a himbo to come along with it -Indus Tarbella is a ghost who is attached to the pendant and bow Mera wear it used to be his own until he was decapitated wearing it through he was properly buried he has no troublesome memories about what happened even after seeing his body he’s just happy to be with Mera Percival King is a security guard at the college and one of the best at that, she wields a story she got from a pawn shop as its her preferred weapon she takes her job very seriously -Ramsey and Zora both died by the same sword while fighting neither remember who wielded the sword, even after death they hate each other and hate being bound together even more Everyone ends up meeting and finding out they all have ghost hijinks ensue. The way ghosts work in this world is a bit strange I'll admit but it's one of my favorites. The ghosts can interact with the human world(menma style) but

they can only talk to the others who can see them (the Banzai Blasters, mera and percy) and the ghosts can interact with each other ghosts in this au attach themselves to an item or property that has someway to do with their death, the kids in the property, Indus it's the bow, and the sword duo is well, the sword Percy carries. As alluded to from before Gio and the rest of the boys end up carrying a bit of the property with them in the form of friendship bracelets four for each of them which makes 28 different bracelets so the kids can decide who to follow around for the day.i talked about how percy and Mera’s items work enough but i would like to mention that Indus does most of the heavy lifting around the library but becaus enoone else can see indus they assume she’s magical, the glowing pendant doesn't help.

The last two au’s i want to talk about are both dream smp au’s

though i've never talked about them online until now, again thanks to @brocolibean for letting me brain vomit my way through these au’s and helping me out with things i love them please check him out I'll be honest i'm so scared of this fandom so i'm afraid to talk about my au’s please be nice to me Also this is all roleplay and fiction!<3 The first one i'll talking about is the dsmp ghost hunters au Sam runs a company where groups of people hunt ghosts for money! Those groups being Phil, Technoblade, Wilbur,Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo Dream, George, Sapnap, Quackity, Karl Bad, ant, Skeppy, and Puffy There’s most likely more but there the only people i can think of at this moment The only canonical ghost being Schlatt This au doesn't have a proper story perse it's more about gags and stuff about the different character fighting over ghosts for money but the story stuff i do have- Sbi family dynamic is real here you can rejoice, Phil adopts Tubbo after his dad (Schlatt) kicks the bucket and fucking dies , Tubbo befriend’s Ranboo some mysterious teen who just desperately needs a job so he- and the rest of the Minecraft family help him get one- though they find out Ranboo isnt as human as he was made out to be and he finds out he’s this worlds version of angels called ender’s and he’s there to protect Tubbo and Tommy which explains why the more violent ghosts start being less violent at the arrival of Ranboo joining their team. Bad isn't human either being a demon his entire group know’s plus quackity. Quackity found out but squirting him with holy water through a water gun but don't worry he promised not to tell anyone; -) Bad and Ranboo know about each other because they see each other as their true forms The minecraft fam found out about Schlatt being a ghost through Tommy- despite Tubbo telling him not to- telling them from calling up and paying for them to investigate their own house saying “technically i didn't tell them” they ended up not getting rid of Schlatt though I'm not going to talk about how the ghosts here work because it's not super important to the plot

The second au is another ghost au where the main characters are ghosts themselves,

like the others its mainly lighthearted and comedic with dark attributes The plot surrounds the sbi family moving into a new house and Tommy finding out it's being haunted by two ghost’s. Those ghosts being Tubbo and Ranboo This au isn't fully figured out but I know that he found out he was haunted by sending a selfie to someone(possibly Drista and Purpled? Since there are only other minors who were part of the dsmp lore? But ultimately idk) and them being like “yo i didn't know you had friends” and him being like “?????” Tubbo died from a boiler exploding and Ranboo died from drowning (which are apparently my two favorite deaths) this also doesn't have an official story? It was just an excuse to make ghost designs with a bit of a story without the commitment As said before it's a sbi au but also a Dadschlatt au cuz I like Dadschlatt au’s. The main story bits i have are background stuff for Tubbo and Ranboo which ill elaborate now The house was originally meant to be just a summer home because it had a large lake in the backyard Ranboo’s family would go there often but that doesn't mean his family liked him very much because of his heterochromia, Vitiligo, and his height his family thought he was strayed from god and drowned him Tubbo died during sleep while Schlatt wasn't home either out drinking or just at work he came home to the house being partially blown up and his son nowhere to be seen he calls Puffy out of fear and she calls the cops. He moves away and most likely starts drinking a bit more. The house gets rebuilt and now the sbi live there hijinks ensue! The ghosts in this au work in a simpler manor only Tommy can see them unless a photo is taken but even then they are blurred, they can float and go through walls and their ability to touch things is limited Ranboo’s memory is worse then Tubbo’s but Tubbo’s isn’t much better.

As someone who finds both common fanon and actual canon to be quite fun, I really think the general DSMP fandom would benefit greatly from a few things in general: the greatest, in my opinion, is learning to accept that popular fanon won’t usually be the canon you receive. Another, of course, is that POVs are golden, but with these two things being flimsy in being accepted, they are the major flaws that cause about 90% of the absolute messy takes that gain traction, oftentimes poisoning a canon character's ability to exist in the story.

My biggest beef regarding this comes from how y’all treat c!Phil, so here I am, being annoying on main side! 

TL;DR... Just because someone acted like like a guidance to others, doesn’t always mean that they'll want to be the father figure role for everyone that breathes. Similarly, pinning down a character on a single trope is wack, so don't be surprised if they grow away from it.

The Dream SMP plotline is not written out like most popular media. With so many moving parts in the form of daily streams and the wonderful tool of live improvisation, it makes perfect sense that such a giant cast would not always be on the same page. Adding onto that, it also makes more sense that a vast majority of the cast will be placed into supporting roles, as the story needs to have characters that serve as narrative anchors and others that function as the links in a chain, all weathering the storm that is the plot.

Screentime, of course, plays a major factor into canon exposure -- in terms of the Dream SMP, POV matters equally, if not more, too. 

It’s a pretty neat way of showing things, but in the end, the fanbase has a lovely (read: godawful /lh) way of analysing characters, particularly when it relates to how they interact with others from their fave character’s POV. The tendency to analyse things from a single character's POV is fine, but not when attempting to critique the greater whole of a conflict. Both sides, no matter how wrong they may seem to be, matter.

Adding onto the fact that everything is live, there are things that will spiral out of control, casual words being skewed and thus having the potential of a single line seemingly contradicting the entire ‘story’ that the fanbase has made. If it directly affects a fave's POV in particular, one is more likely to take offense, as bias immediately bars one from trying to see the other person's side of things.

POV is important. 

Which brings me to c!Phil, and how critics tend to ignore his perspective to prop up another character, or justify the tearing down of another.

Improvisation is both a blessing and a curse; the fanbase, however, loves to test out the latter. With it, the fanbase starts crafting tales to justify it...And so begins the mess that is c!Phil discourse.

Say it with me, folks: c!Phil is not supposed to be your fave’s fluffy father figure... unless you’re c!Wilbur!!!

Family dynamics are generally loved for their potential for comfort, particularly those of a found family nature. Fandom in general tends to lean into them wholeheartedly, with most major bases having at least one prominent group present; SBI, of course, is no different. From fanart to popular fanfiction, it's arguably the biggest group dynamic alongside the Dream Team, and for that, a precedence was set. 

c!Phil, if he ever joined, would fix everything! All of the ‘kids’ would turn to their new mentor and everything would turn out fine! This all knowing, morally just character will chuckle at their antics and wacky hijinks will follow! Fun times, right? /s

The hope for it, however, has long since been shattered, and frankly, good for him!

To go a little ooc, cc!Phil has stated multiple times that, while he was friendly with a lot of the cast as c!Phil, his only paternal link (at least biologically) lies with c!Wilbur. Simple, right? It should be -- there are multiple clips of him saying this -- but fans choose to ignore it in their critiques, generally citing favouritism or downright neglect for the character’s flaws. From 'favoring' Techno (who, in canon, holds the highest link in friendship outside of c!Wilbur's familal link) to 'neglecting' to visit Tommy (who he barely knew, and also assumed, like many others, that he was fine), these critiques weigh heavily on the scale that judges Phil’s so called father figure trope. 

The story, however, has only leaned into (and persisted with) that for c!Wilbur alone, and adding onto it, there is an established acknowledgement from both ccs. That confirmation should hold the most weight, especially since both Phil and Wilbur seem alright with it. Even so, that familial has yet to be explored much for both characters, particularly regarding c!Phil, who has his debut (at least narratively) in a scene that feels opposite to the classic fatherly role.

c!Wilbur denounced accepting that helping hand to fall entirely into his explosive end, setting a precedence unlike most fatherly types arriving to save their kid. Usually, fandom narrative would love a close save, father and son uniting to heal and build up what was broken, but c!Phil’s entrance inks his story in failure. Angsty, right? We love angst!

And yet, as the story ticks on, the bad takes pile up.

Why? Well, I’l used to think that it is a “funny haha” type thing; a way to grieve for a character that was lost, as Alivebur was genuinely a great character. However, with the plot slowly progressing c!Phil’s story to evolve away from the ‘mentor the kids’ trope , I should have seen a storm on the horizon.

It should have been seen from the moment he stabbed c!Wilbur in the chest, but optimism is one hell of a smokescreen.

Built up fanon, however, is probably the greatest fog to ever exist.

There are lines before the button room confrontation that paint a picture of Wilbur seeking out the approval of his father (who seemed distant, at least from his POV), as well as hints to the SBI dynamic, but with the countless dismissals/retcons from CCs involved, as well as little to no consistent canon acknowledgement of this team dad role...Why base an entire hate piece of c!Phil just because popular fanon isn’t real? 

Why, for the sake of building up a well rounded character, would one place the title of a communal parental figure on a grieving father who has little attachment to the community involved, especially when most of them are too busy delving into their own issues?

Furthermore, why go for Mr. Philza Minecraft: Angel of Death, CEO of KEKW, Functioning Immortal????

It’s madness, luv, and frankly, antis cannot let c!Phil process any of his grief (or flesh out his character) without his contributions being fatherly. His role has been idealized to the point where he is not a character on his own, but an accessory to the happiness of other characters. That is not how the world works, and in a conflict riddled server like the dsmp, arguing that it should be like that is counterproductive.

c!Phil had his own shit to deal with, and as he slowly uncovers how fucked up the server actually was, he merely adapts to it. He learns to play the game by his own rules, and people become mad that he’s succeeding in his own way. It's as simple as that, particularly when referencing his initial exposure to the world he now inhabits.

c!Phil is a man who used to hear of his son’s success from the letters he received, words spinning tales of won revolutions and newfound friendships. To a father, those letters are more than enough to assume that all is well, and with it, he had no reason to check on his son, who was already old enough to be carving his path alone. For him to arrive and see just how broken his son actually was, and then, in front of faces he only vaguely knows, kill said son... There's a lot to take in.

He shouldn't have had to care about L'Manberg in those moments, not when he had his son in his arms, dead by his own goddamn weapon; his son who, to his knowledge, was doing pretty well up until he caught wind of his plot. Yet, he does.

He gives them the benefIt of the doubt, even ignoring the one person he has shown to have deep history with (c!Techno) to assist the nation in defeating the withers and rebuilding what was lost.

c!Phil stays in a nation that has seemingly brought his son right into his demise, holding in that grief to help people who he assumes have the chance to rebuild, to reform. For a moment, he trusts that the system can turn into something positive, offering to hunker down and do what he can to help. That’s the start of a fatherly type role for most -- with many expectations rising from fans to ‘fix’ all these traumatized characters.

In another plot, perhaps critics could have gotten the tropes they want from c!Phil, but to blame the character for reacting negatively to a world he barely knew, right after seeing it ruin his son and target a friend...Maybe the need for a "father figure" only stems from making their faves happy.

Characters that don't directly support your fave are not inherently awful characters. Critique based on that alone is...flimsy, really, but honestly, you can use to to show how they process things.

Which brings me to the events leading up to Doomsday, and with it, the steady rise of c!Phil’s defining traits.

Say it with me, folks: c!Phil is one of the most loyal members on the server, but loyalty doesn’t mean he's blindly following along!

The butcher army arc, while nestled among the mainline story of Tommy’s exile (which I will not even mention, because those dadza takes about visiting may deserve a post on their own), allows for c!Phil to see into the minds of those who had once been with (or even against) his son’s plans. Sure, he may be witnessing them after the eve of their newfound traumas, but this is an important observation to make when comparing how easy it was to denounce his affiliation to them and side with c!Technoblade.

Unlike the new Administration, slowly dipping deeper and deeper into their own form of power hunger, c!Technoblade’s base desires had never wavered. His trust in others, however, had, still nursing the sting of a betrayal, but with no conflict in sight. He is reforming, finding comfort in his solitude, and still maintaining contact with those he trusts.

Techno's Compass, for one, is a major example of their mutual trust. Despite being on opposing territories, they are civil enough to trust each other, just like old friends.

Thus, when you take two old friends who are more than used to conflict -- one grieving and one betrayed, but both seeking neutrality -- it shouldn’t have surprised the antis that c!Phil would place c!Techno’s whereabouts (and life, mind you) over some government he barely knew. 

And yet, above all else, c!Phil starts off as a neutral party for everyone's sake, forgoing potential conquest for peace.

To c!Phil and c!Techno, it’s like fighting back to back, knowing that one can always trust the other to fend off those just waiting to take advantage of your blindspot, while also quelling the need to imagine your partner turning around and doing the same. That sort of friendship is forged through many, many hardships.

They betray what little trust he had built in them. That’s on them.

c!Phil is aware how untrusting c!Techno is, and while c!Techno feels safe enough to give his all for c!Phil, he never exploits it to get ahead, which is something L'Manbergians felt okay with doing.

They take a book out of the playbook used on c!Techno, for c!Techno.

They went after yet another person who was close to him, using their power and influence to hold an execution under the guise of seeking justice. If c!Wilbur, at least pre-corruption arc, sent letters to his father, one would at least expect some of his old ideals of freedom and fairness to leak through into his friends, right? To see those c!Phil assumed would hold similar ideals immediately skew towards a darker, brutal side, particularly in threatening others to get what they wanted...Well, shit hit the fan.

c!Phil does not have that strong relationship with any former L’Manbergians, and despite there being potential for such, it didn't work out that way; instead, however, those characters manage to mistake his kindness for weakness. They take his preferred neutrality as a way to exploit him, to gain in such a way that he lost agency...

No more Mister Nice Dadza, and honestly, he’s justified in that notion.

They’ve lost his trust, time too short to have gained that strong link like c!Techno’s or c!Wilbur’s, and with it, came the inevitable association with Doomsday.

c!Phil knew c!Techno’s intentions from the beginning -- which had only wavered into dormancy because he had grown tired of fighting, understanding that the cycle he wishes to break is not worth his efforts -- so the agreement in participating is effortless. 

c!Dream was there too, of course, but in their mutual quest for eradication, it’s made canon that c!Techno and c!Phil hid away most of their arsenal, despite seeming overprepared. They have no loyalty to c!Dream; they’re smart enough to play along, however. He was a means to an end.

There’s no lies present in their relationship; c!Phil needed someone who didn’t try and pull wool over his eyes, and c!Techno let him see.

c!Techno needed someone who wouldn't stab him in the back, and c!Phil stayed true as his hidden sword.

Which is why, as the two joined forces, ideals aligning and power synergized, they didn’t think twice about nuking the nation to bedrock. Mutually agreeing that the system needs to die, they did what they could, and they succeeded.

How cool of them, tbh LMAO.

New L’Manberg tugged too hard at the sleeping tiger’s tail; they shouldn’t have expected it to roll over.

Their openness to each other was known.

There was no need for underhanded plays, for hidden betrayals, for undisclosed words.

Their loyalties were strong.

They were in sync.

In conclusion (maybe, maybe not...this shit is long holy heck)

And that’s what makes c!Phil an interesting character: He tends to be critiqued in reference to chatacters who have very well wronged him, have no affiliation to him or get associated to him through popular fanon. There's a lot to cover that I haven't (from Ghostbur to the whole Tommy 'dilemna') but overall I'm digging what I have now and if I ever get more energy, I'll continue!

You laugh, blushing slightly at the question as you continue to build your trusty restaurant on the Dream SMP server. You and Dream have been friends for about a year now. You had built a small friendship with George when he introduced the two of you, claiming you to be the 'woman version of Dream'. And it's just skyrocketed from there. You were introduced to Sapnap, who complained at being the last one introduced in the Dream Team. Then Tommy, Tubbo, Wilbur, Niki, and so many more people. It made your head spin, honestly. You jumped from being a semi-small streamer to having a solid fanbase.

"Thank you for the dono, alexiscarter3215." You smile at your facecam, holding up a little heart. The chat goes wild, whizzing past too fast to read but you're sure they're upset that you didn't answer their question.

You had to think about it for a second. You two sure acted like you were dating. Between the constant guest appearances on each other's streams, the twitter flirting, and the Minecraft beds next to each other on his server, you could see why others would be confused. But you weren't dating. You mean, you two did facetime every night and he did know all your secrets. But you don't even know what he looks like yet and....

Shit. You have a fat crush on Dream. The realization that you finally admitted it to yourself making you pause slightly before your phone buzzes, a notification from Twitter. You spot Dream's username and pause your game. "Let's find out what Dream tweeted folks." You tell your stream, planning on ending it soon anyways so this was the perfect segway to wrapping it up. You're thankful for the distraction as you weren't even sure what you were going to say next.

You giggle, biting your nails slightly as you wait for his reply. Instead of a text, you get an incoming facetime from him. You decline his call, choosing to keep the bit going. After a few moments, you get a facetime from Sapnap. You answer it, confused as to why he would be calling you out of the blue.

"Answer Dream." Was all he said before hanging up. You laugh loudly, covering your mouth so as to not wake your housemates before deciding to take the bit to twitter.

Dream facetimes you again and you pick up sniffling slightly.

"(Y/N)? Are you okay??? I didn't mean it. I saw your tweet, please... I didn't mean it." He says, concerned as he hides his face from the camera.

You finally break, laughing loudly as you put the camera down so you can hold your stomach, wheezing. "Dream, bud. I was just joking around." You hear him let out a sigh of relief.

"You should come to Florida." He suddenly states, making you choke on the sip of water you were drinking.

"Uh..." You pause for a moment.

"I mean if you're uncomfort-"

"Yes." You cut him off, smiling into the camera brightly. "Yes, I will come to Florida."

The next two weeks were a blur, Dream insisted on paying for your ticket to fly to Florida. And when the boys found out that you were visiting without asking them first, they were super jealous. So jealous, in fact, that they both booked flights that phone call. They were nice enough to give you two days alone with Dream, but only after an awkward amount of silence and a lot of text notifications where you're pretty sure Dream threatened to leave their ass at the airport if they didn't come later. Your knowledge of this only coming from the screenshots George sent you of Dream's threats.

The day of the flight, you were incredibly nervous. You had picked a soft plum colored sweatshirt with simple black leggings and converes. You wanted to dress up a little, but you also knew that you would be uncomfortable the whole flight if you did. Hopefully Dream didn't mind you dressing down for the first in person meeting with him.

After a 30 minute wait, your flight is finally called. You finally reach your window seat and check your phone.

we just landed!!!

You blush at the connotation of his text. He was genuinely excited to see you? When everyone was finally able to leave their seats, you grab your overhead luggage and make your way off the plane. You make your way to the baggage claim and watch the bags intently, waiting for your polka dot bag to show itself.

You feel a tap on your shoulder and you turn around, coming face to face with a very tall blonde man.

"Oh- sorry, am in your way?" You mumble, moving over for them to grab their luggage.

"(Y/N)?" He asks you, his voice unsure and hesitant.

Your eyebrows raise in shock and you turn around again, looking at him closely. You cover your mouth in shock, "D-Dream?" You ask for a moment, unsure if this is real.

He nods, laughing and you throw yourself at him, wrapping your arms around him in a tight hug. Tears start to come to your eyes as he hugs you back tightly. You pull back so that you could look up at his face, but still keeping your arms wrapped around him. "Dream!" You sniffle, your voice a little scratchy from holding back the tears.

"(Y/N)! Are you crying?" He asks, laughing. He is so much more attractive than you could have ever imagined. You sniffle, wiping your nose on your sleeve as you hit his chest lightly.

"Don't make fun of me. This is easily the best thing that has happened in my life." You giggle softly, looking back at the conveyer belt to see your bag. You quickly rush to grab it before it disappears on you.

You turn back to Dream, your bag trailing behind you as you pull it along. Dream grabs your carryon much to your complaints.

"I got it, (Y/N), don't worry." He chuckles, his deep voice making butterflies appear in your stomach. As the two of you walk to his car, chatting excitedly about what the plans are for the week, Dream grabs your free hand, linking your fingers together. Blush creeps up your neck as you pretend nothing is different. Once you reach his car, Dream grabs both of your luggage and puts them in the trunk as you get into the passenger side.

"So, I don't know if you rented a hotel room or something..."He trails off, tapping the steering wheel nervously.

Your eyes widen slightly, you didn't know he wanted you to. "Oh! I, uh, I totally forgot. I can book one right now, though. No biggie." You quickly pull out your phone, panicking a little as you search hotels near me.

Dream pushes your phone away, chuckling. "No, no. (Y/N), you don't have to. I didn't mean it like that. I just wasn't sure if you were comfortable staying at my apartment."

You let out a sigh of relief. "Of course I'm fine with that you dork." You punch his arm softly, "I thought for a second you didn't want me there!" You tease him.

Dream feigns being hurt by your punch before gently grabbing your hand again. "Of course I want you there." He mutters softly.

The words set your stomach aflame as your intestines tie themselves into a knot. He wanted you there.

Anon, you have no idea how long i’ve waited for an ask like this.

okay,,, so,,, I have actually had a LOT of thought into how to frame a timeline where YHS and Hermitcraft could coexist in the same verse. This involved coming up with many explanations for minecraft mechanics, the differences in lifestyle, etc. This holds spoilers for YHS, and it’s season two Tokyo Soul. A summary is at the end.

 So,,, I see it as a continuous timeline, in most of my sorta,,, au,,, brainstorming. The way I’ve pieced it together the Minecraft world is:

Earth, where YHS would take place, is a sort of central hub. Servers are parallel universes to earth. I think of it as the real world theory, that there’s a different timeline for every action that could’ve been taken. Say in your timeline, you choose not to go to school or wok on a certain day, there’d would then be a timeline where you did.

So, humanity learned how to access these universes. A blank slate, a way to disperse population by opening hundreds of thousands of “servers” in these infinite universes, all with differences varying from the earth we all know.

As hundreds of universes turned into thousands, and thousands tuned into millions, more and more differences began occurring. The use of technology, the odd nature and affects of using such abilities to create an ever-expanding list of oddities, lead to things such as creepers or skeletons to become a normal occurrence.

Many people took to fleeing the “normal” earth worlds, to explore these new, dangerous worlds as a way to have a feeling of greater purpose, to exploit and learn of these new concepts and make the most of it.

With these constantly changing environments, finicky technology and ever-growing list of oddities across worlds, children began eventually being born with abilities and things to adapt to these scenarios and environments.

Live in a slime chunk? possibility of your kid ending up as part slime. (Explains the existence of yhs’ powerdragon, or hc ijevin)

your base is in the nether, you constantly die from blazes or things?  your kid’s got horns or red eyes (yuki and tango)

and so on, and so on. Of course with the dangerous world of Minecraft,  most people choose to raise their children in a hub “earth” which would explain hermits having accents of the counties they live in.

I think, that there would be some countries or towns, or even worlds, with an almost cult-like behavior, that don’t acknowledge the existence of the multi-verse. YHS would take place in one of these worlds.

The end of Tokyo Soul, aka YHS season two, left with their world destroyed. Obliterated, nothing standing but a single house belonging to The Trouble Trio. The only things left in existence being Sam, Taurtis, Grian, their house, and the items they had with them on their inventory. 

Perhaps there was an active rebellion against worlds such as their’s, hiding hte existence of the multi-verse. Perhaps someone left a command block, hidden within the house that went untouched. Perhaps after who knows how long of immortality within an empty existence, Grian found it.

Grian accidentally ends up in a creative, flat world. This is where he learned how to build.  As time went on, and he better understood some of the mechanics the wold had to offer he managed to use the command bock to learn more about the multiverse, Perhaps a “command bock” s more modern looking, functioning more like a tablet than the simple form it has in the actual game

He learned of the existence of survival world. Of ways to live without perma-death, of the multiverse. He decides he wants to experience “beta” worlds, early, finicky worlds that go without some of the oddities of later “Versions” and so he begins Evo.

 Command Blocks, in this context, would also function as forums. Perhaps a notification would go to certain people that a new server had started, and a limited amount of individuals would join. 

And so would begin Grian’s journey into exploring what the multi-verse offers. 

This got,, really out of hand, but i’ve been thinking about this non-stop since who knows how long. in short:

Minecraft is a multi-verse. there’s an earth, this is where most people live. there are multiple earths vaguely similar, some of which hide the existence of the multiverse which hold mobs and elytras and the like. YHS took place in one of these dimensions. After the events of Tokyo Soul, Grian found a command block which brought him to a super flat world, where he began learning how to build. The events of Evo would then follow before he finds himself in hermitcraft.

Collects EVERY animal and names them all . 'Teams up' with people a lot. Swears like sailor   when playing so he has really edited and almost never livestreams  when playing minecraft he does do lots of qna/ irl games on livestreams and sometimes convinces one of the others to join. Has a "not PG" playlist of collabs where he has a few swears and dirty jokes (normally from the others). Travels a lot and always has a bag of sweets (vegan and everything free so anyone can eat them)  incase he meets any fans when out.  Has and will spend hours collecting things for his friends if he hears them complain about how they can't find any insert item here or need a certain amount of it but can't get it.  He has a "drop off hut" at their spawn where everyone but him has a chest and he'll leave whatever they need  for them to pick up and occasionally he'll leave sweet notes in them too if he knows they're having a bad day.  Doesn't make serious videos often but will always speak out on other social media about current events (blm, lgbt shiz etc) and give his support and thoughts on it there are some issues he doesn't talk about for personal reasons tho.

Logan:

Has a good sized Base and is focused on efficency and survival. Almost always streaming or filming. Has 2 pets à series (max.)  And the rest if the farm animals are definitely not pets (most have names and he refuses to kill them). Is practically a god by episode 5 so most of  the time he does stupid challenges and makes shops and trades/ helps  the others.  He only ever blogs for events (vidcon/comicon)  most of the time his camera is stolen by either remus, patton or Roman and they'll make sure to get all the funny and embarrassing moments on film.  Logan always réalisés two videos for each event eg :  video one: "Vidcon 2020 day 2"   video two: " Vidcon 2020 day 2 patton's  cut" (where all the shenanigans and  weird shit is posted).

He's always a sarcastic mum (so normal )  and loves to watch the playful banter and whenever any of the viewers see it he'll be spammed with edits and art for the next month or two. Of course he goes through everything he's tagged in and makes sure to like and comment. Because it's logan everyone still simps for  him and he posts photos a lot  and lots of group photos from when they all meet up and shiz  and most of the comments are people drooling over him.

Has a playlist of info videos where he talks about social justice stuff and is super supportive and informative about it and almost always gets someone he knows and is affected by it to talk to and make sure he's doing it the right way and he has all kinds of channels linked that talk about it all in more depth and always links petitions and places to learn and donate.

No one remembers adding him to the servers or anything but he's just there.

Normally shares a base with patton or is super close to it and basically has a house with a lava moat and a basement abd that's it. So many swears and dirty jokes.  Lots of random short vlogs that he has in a playlist that's called 'why I love these dumbasses'. Constantly flirts with patton and when they start dating publicly they do all kinds of tags and have a mc world together where everyone thinks they'll be sweet and wholesome but most of it is them killing eachother for the fun of it which everyone is mad for.

Remus always challenges patton to find a super rare pet (jokes on you remus patton has every pet in the game by episode 5)  for filler videos where they don't know what to do. Remus does lots of trolling and making traps/ death houses videos and mainly plays on servers or plays other games (mainly horror). Always ends up pissing someone on the server off and starting a war (they all know it's all in good fun) and spends wayyyyy too long working on different pranks for different people (He once made logan's house neon pink by hand)

Janus is pretty normal and will play with mods so he can get reptiles as pets. Is barely ever on servers and will barely play on them if he's part of one. He does lots of one off challenges / games with the others. Doesn't post anything but gaming vids and only ever does voice-over and no cam for a long time and is shipped  with everyone  he had every social media but only posts about upcoming videos and events. Lowest subs of the group as he doesn't do it for the income (unlike most of the others)  and just does it because the others convinced him. He keeps his home life secret until he accidentally turned up in the background of one of Remy's videos and everyone went mad with theories and he came out and explained it all so after tgat he occasionally posts vlogs for big events but that's it. He lives with emile and remy in a 2 bed apartment (they were previously roomates) and has his own room which is really an office with a spare bed in it.

Virgil :

Mainly does series on his own or speed running /parkour.  He's weirdly good at building so he has a series where he builds houses for his friends. He does a mixture of  art and gaming videos when he does collab with the others it's always one off games against eachother (bedwars parkour etc)  he almost always wins (his only real competiton is logan) and stays silent most the time   and only really throws around insults.

Remy (+emile)

Lifestyle  and challenge blogs doesn't game but he has tried a few times on janus' channel (so has emile)  he has a playlist  of mental health videos made by emile (He's still a therapist but he wanted a way to help people further so he does these with remy)  and occasionally does makeup / fashion videos and is a super super popular channel so his bfs  (janus and emile) don't really need to work but they like to contribute.

Hey I’ve been thinking about getting into Minecraft. Thing is, i impulsively bought it on the PlayStation and it’s not showing me the same options as the pc kind. Should I get it on my computer? I don’t know yet if it’s really my thing so what are some other fun things besides the regular modes you can do? I know there’s the hunger games in mc but what else? Any recommendations? Sincerely, a Minecraft noob

Honestly, yea I’d look into getting the PC kind at some point, I own the console version for my switch and 3ds but neither are nearly as fun as pc since theres so many more options for the pc version.

Theres a lot of different servers on minecraft for mini-games, pvp, roleplay, and modded servers so it really just depends on what your looking for! Minecraftt is kinda making its comeback so I imagine we have a lot more coming to the game again in the future too( Several people who make mods n plugins are already working on plugins/mods again that haven't been updated in YEARs which is NICE). 

Since you mentioned hunger games I can suggest a few other mini-games I love to play like Capture the Flag which is kinda like tf2 on mc if you ask me, Vampirez where theres two sides, the humans and the vampires, and either you have to survive a certain time frame as a human or as a vampire you have to hunt down all the humans before the time runs out, The Walls where theres 4 teams and you have 15 minutes to gather supplies to build weapons or a fort then after 15 minutes the walls drop and you gotta defeat the other 4 teams, Smash bros which is self-explanatory bc its just super smash bros for minecraft,  and LASTLY my FAVORITE which is MINEZ which is a zombie survival game based off Arma II's DayZ- In Minez you can explore a large map well-gathering supplies and fighting off zombies, its the one minigame I can enjoy on my own or with friends tbh- I def recommend checking it out if thats your thing (here's the website for it).

Mini-games aside though there is a lot of different servers out there like Faction servers where you can join or make a faction. You can either fight other factions or make allies to become the strongest faction on the server (fun fact: I accidentally killed my favorite faction server by becoming the strongest faction and no one could even hurt us but we were also so strong no one wanted to leave the faction or break allyship with us- Also I named the faction off the   shadowbolts from my little pony which still makes me laugh to this day). 

If PvP isn’t your type maybe you’d like to try out a roleplay server though, personally I haven’t played on one of these myself, but I’ve seen roleplay servers for beautifully made fantasy worlds, futuristic worlds, and even ones for fandoms like Harry Potter and MLP. If you’d like to try out some mods theres even Pokemon servers with mods to add pokemon to the game!

Speaking of mods, they can add so much to your game from new animals in the game to whole new dimensions.  My favorite mods are the twilight forest which adds a fantasy dimension with all new blocks, animals, and bosses so if you like that sorta stuff I’d def check it out.  My second favorite would have to be technic which adds so much stuff to the game I honestly don’t know how to describe it so I’d just poke around on the website here. 

My last suggestion is my favorite- which might be boring to some, but in almost playing this game for a decade now I’ve always just loved a small server with a good community. Minigames, PvP, and mods are fun, but once you get bored of that its just always great to get on a server with friendly people n familiar faces. There's nothing better than hopping onto your favorite lil server to start a new build from a small little shop or an entire town with the community. I feel lucky that after all these years I run my own little server and I love the community it's built up and I love all the builds people have made for the community like the market, railroad, the post office, and all the little towns that have popped up. 

 I’d say just explore all the different options until you find something that you love to do, the possibilities are really endless here since the game is pretty customizable. Maybe get some friends to play with you if they have it or go out and explore the game n make some friends on the way! I’ve also bought a handful of friends the game and they ended up loving the game, most of them still play to this day too. I met one of my closest friends from our mutual love of minecraft and making silly little stories on the game, minecraft is like a one of a kind bonding experience if you ask me lmao.

For Watching Minecraft Yanderesim RP post twooooo~”

Hi, I’m Isabelle, but you knew that already, and we would do a proper Mystery Science Theater 3000 parody if I liked how my voice sounded, and I had proper recording software, but I don’t so let’s begin talking about episodes two and three of Samgladiator’s Minecraft Yandere Highschool. 

So to start off Episode 2 Sam wakes up to the Super Smash Brothers Melee theme blasting at full volume from the Gamecubecrab he and Taurtis bought last episode. Given the fact that we haven’t seen either Sam or Taurtis shower or use deodorant, they are both well on their way to becoming true Melee players. We also learn Taurtis has been up since last night trying to get the Gamecube to work, and he doesn’t even get to play it before going to school, which a true Melee player would shirk all responsibilities and drop out of school to become a professional smash bros player, so he gets docked some Epic Gamer points for that blunder. 

As Sam and Taurtis exit Sam opens their mailbox to reveal fanart they got, half of which is made by people who are actors in the series, but that’s not all too surprising as they likely used their fans as actors. This show was likely made on a budget of however much it cost to have the set built and fans will work for nothing but the opportunity to be in the same Minecraft server as the person they enjoy. I shouldn’t be talking though, I was ecstatic to get into one of RTGame’s Minecraft build days. Back on topic Taurtis and Sam head over to the convenience store and sam quickly rushes through his shopping because he doesn’t want the girls to see him and make fun of him, but he also finds cat meat, because the joke of Asian countries selling the meat of and eating domestic pets is a hilarious one, right fellas? Taurtis tries to buy the robot from the European versions of Tomodachi Life, which makes me happy, because I really enjoyed Tomodachi Life, and it’s nice to see something from it. But before we can get too far into my other trip down memory lane, this trip down memory lane interrupts it, with Sam realizing they’re going to be late if Taurtis keeps haggling with the shopkeeper for the robot he said wasn’t for sale. But despite that realization Sam and Taurtis are still late to class along with Jay, but he doesn’t get called out by teacher Gareth for being late, so… Anyways Gareth calls up Sam to tell the class about himself, and to show off the item he brought to represent himself, which is his teddy bear, Snugglemuffins, which promptly results in him being laughed at and made fun of by everyone in class, including teacher Gareth. Sam proceeds to run to another classroom crying, but is coaxed back by Gareth bribing him with 1000 Yen, or roughly 9 United States Dollars, so Sam’s bragging about getting 10 bucks wasn’t super off. Next up is Jay, who presented a katana from his katana collection, which everyone thought was cool except Yuki, who’s only comment was “Great, a weeaboo”, which you know what? Valid. Finally Taurtis presents his item, which is the Gamecube, which teacher Gareth promptly steals, robbing Taurtis of his dreams of becoming a professional Melee player, which it was never stated he had but in our hearts we all know he had. At the end teacher Gareth tells the students their assignment is to sell as many cookies as they can and to take some from the chest at the front of class “Just like my wife took everything from me”. 

The boys then head down to get lunch, and Sam, Taurtis, and Jay sit together, and Jay lets Sam play with his katana, where Sam promptly cuts someone with it. Oops. We then overhear the girls making fun of Sam, so Sam sends over Taurtis to talk him up, and on his first attempt he freaks out and runs away, and I’m not gonna criticize him, given the fact that I would have definitely done worse in that situation, being unable to think of what to say and just resorting to some stupid shit like “You got Fortnite on your phone?”. His second attempt goes better, where he then proceeds to shit talk Sam with the girls, saying he was raised by bunnies, and he gets Jay to join in on the fun. This eventually leads to Sam getting mad and wanting to impress Taurtis by saying Sookie is his Girlfriend, Taurtis proceeds to try and win Sookie over, not realizing Sam was lying and setting up a love triangle that I’m sure is going to go well for everyone involved. Shortly after this the bell rings and it is time for Gym class, where we see Rowan wearing nothing, save for a VERY small speedo, which, when we first see him, is covered by his desk. Making it look like he’s ass naked. He then has everyone stretch, and then head out to the pool, since they are going to be doing diving and laps for that day. Everyone then proceeds to get changed into their swimsuits and that is where episode 2 ends.

Episode three then starts with Sam, Taurtis and everyone else changed into their swimsuits, Sam’s is nothing special but Taurtis’ is just like Rowan’s except he has water wings on. The girl’s swimsuits are thankfully not revealing, being a one piece suit, but they aren’t as diverse as the boy’s swimsuits. Except for one student, HiddenSentinels forgot to bring his swimsuit so he is instead sent to clean Rowan’s car. Rowan starts with making them do dives, Sam jumps in and gets his teddy bear wet so he asks Rowan to hold onto it so it doesn’t get more wet, where Rowan proceeds to yeet that motherfucker over the fence. This causes some of the students to feel bad for Sam, as you probably would, at this point Sam, while he’s been a bit of an asshole, hasn’t done anything too horrible. Sookie also mentions that she doesn’t like the water, which brings me to a question, what is Sookie? Is she a human, she has hair. But humans aren’t traditionally green, as far as I know, and are usually fine with water. This comment makes me think she’s water soluble, sort of, but that’s a question for another time. Rowan then gets the students to start doing laps around the pool, and during that exercise one of the students, PowerDragon starts to drown despite having floaties on, and Sam and Taurtis save him, sort of making fun of him for managing to drown with floaties on. Sam has, what we in the business call, a VERY GOOD IDEA, if he pretends to drown, the girls will feel bad for him, save him, and he might even get mouth to mouth from a pretty girl. So he fake drowns next to SirCutieYuki, gets saved by Invader, the girl with the beard for those of you who forgot, and told by SoulOwl to “just swim you nerd”, which, that’s fair. Sam gets mouth to mouth because he is freaked out by girl beard touching him. We have truly entered the comedy area. 

Rowan then has the class move onto the high dive, and between being scared of the high dive, him being kissed by a girl with a beard, and people taking pictures of him after that, Sam runs to get his teddy bear on the other side of the fence, and it is gone, and Sam is upset for all of five seconds before moving on. Sam then returns to the pool and Rowan demonstrates the high dive while staring directly at Sam on his way down. The high drive is by my count is 26 meters high, or roughly 85 feet for us Americans (or Liberians or Myanmarese), which has to be some kind of safety violation, since the pool is only 3 meters deep. Taurtis and the rest of the class, sans Sam, start lining up to do the dive, with Sam opting to go last. Teacher Gareth tells Taurtis that he hopes he falls before he dives, but thankfully for everyone who likes Taurtis he doesn’t eat shit on the pavement after falling 85 feet from the air, and instead lands safely in the pool. Albeit with Rowan berating them for their lack of form. Sam finally does his dive off of the diving board, even though he had to be pushed off of the top of the diving board after he got to the top, and we got to see the whole city, including the unfinished flattened bit we weren’t supposed to. When he gets down we see that teacher Gareth has decided to get in on the high diving fun, fully clothed. This reminds Sam that he and Taurtis should be selling cookies, and he proceeds to try and sell them to Rowan, who shouts that they have empty carbs and yeeted that shit over the fence. While this is happening SoulOwl starts molting in the water, on account of being an owl in water. Between this, Sookie possibly being water soluble, and one student nearly drowning, I’m starting to feel that this swimming exercise might have been ill conceived. After Sookie heads off to take Soul to the nurse Invader tries to sell Rowan some cookies, claiming they have steroids in them, this causes Rowan to start punching her and throwing her cookies into the pool, teacher of the year 2015. At the same time Sam tries to sell cookies to Yuki, who will only buy them if they are from Taurtis, which Taurtis says they are, and he takes all the money, not even giving sam commission for selling the cookies, and then the bell rings, leading to everyone heading home in their swimsuits and Rowan saying that he will take care of their clothes for them.

As everyone is heading home then see that Jay has a fucking boat the size of the school’s pool, Sam and Taurtis ask about how he got so rich, with Sam commenting on the fact that Jay might be an entrepenur, and Jay saying “That’s a secret”, thus smashing my headcannon that Jay recieved all of his money from Kevin O’Leary, from the hit ABC show, Shark Tank. They then see SoulOwl and Sookie, and Sam sends Taurtis to talk to them to see how Soul is doing because he is too shy to talk to her himself. Sam also says that her molting sounds gross, but for Taurtis not to tell her that he said that, with Taurtis pointing out they weren’t super far away from him, and that Sookie and Soul could hear him too, and SoulOwl promptly getting mad at Sam, causing him and Taurtis to flee, when they go past the confiscated items box, where we see their GameCube and a copy of Super Smash Bros Melee. The boys then see Jay has a wrench and ask him to help them break into the office and help them get their GameCube back, because no series is complete without a little breaking and entering. Following their heist the gang heads to the convenience store with Jay to haggle for the robot once again, and the shop owner once again refuses, even after Jay showers him with money, stating it is a priceless family heirloom, Taurtis does however manage to successfully unload all of his cookies onto the shopkeeper, Sam is successful when he tries the same thing, instead Jay offers to buy them, and sam does, stating Jay is the best friend ever because of his money, and inviting him over to play Smash Brothers. Taurtis suggests inviting Invader over as well, because she developed a crush on Sam after giving him mouth to mouth I guess. Sam however declines because she has a beard and that’s gross, Invader however is more than pleased to come along, and does, despite Sam being a real asshole. When they get home however it is revealed that someone has there Teletubbies DVDs, and leaving off on that epic cliffhanger you’ll just have to wait until next week to find out what happens next. Or just watch the next episode before me, I’m a gal who makes terrible decisions, not a cop.

Frequently Asked Questions!

With the growing (and surprising 🙊!! ) popularity of Ghoulcraft, I’ve had the awesome joy of getting a TON of asks about everything 😁! So to help cut down on getting repetitive questions, Here’s a little FAQ for you all that will hopefully help out 💙

Q: Does Ghoulcraft work in 1.12/1.13/1.14?  A: Ghoulcraft works in 1.13 AND 1.14! However, certain items may not be available depending on your version. (For instance, Items that are made using things like barrels from 1.14, will not be available in 1.13!). You also need to make sure you have the correct version of Optifine in your game to see the items 💙   Ghoulcraft does NOT work in 1.12 at the moment, however, as Optifine changed the way CIT items are loaded in 1.13+. Currently, i do not have a fix for this. I’m sorry! :( 

Q: Is there a list of every item? Is there a way to see all of the items you’ve made?  A: Yep! There are a couple of different ways! 

You can log in to the 1.14.2 server (1.14.2 optifine is required!) at Ip: Ghoulcraft.com, and see every item in-game, as well as some tips & tutorials on how to use them!

You can use [NullCasting’s Google Spreadsheet!] It categorizes items by type as well as update, and you can see the name of the item, the object it renames, what to rename it to, as well as a picture of the object, and where to place the item frame (on the ground, on the side of a block, on the ceiling, etc) <3

Inside every .zip of Ghoulcraft, is a txt file named “Item List”. Unzip the file, open the txt, and see a list of every single item that’s been added, according to update!

Q: How do i use your CIT pack? A: First of all, use one of the lists above to find which item you want to use. In this example, we’ll be using the Lemon Birthday Cake. According to the lists, it’s made with a regular minecraft cake -- so you first need to get one of those. (Craft it, buy it, spawn one in, etc). Now open up an anvil, and place the cake in the left side. Up at the top, you can now rename that item! Leave the “Cake” part, and add a “_bdayl” to the end of it. Make sure there are NO SPACES between “Cake” and the underscore (_). If you did it correctly, the model should appear in the right side box! Just take the item out of the right side, and place it in an item frame!

Q: What does “CIT” mean?  A: CIT means “Custom Item Texture” 

Q: Will you add horns/tails/wings/hats??? A: Yes! This is by far, the most asked-for item so far, lol. Don’t worry, i have a bunch of plans to make these! I just have to iron out a few little details before wings & tails will make an appearance 💙

Q: Can I suggest something for you to add, or do i have to be a donor to get what i want? A: Anybody can suggest an item! If I believe the item can be used by everybody, I’ll add it to [The List] and it will get added when the appropriate update happens! (So make sure you check the list AND Mizuno’s blog before you suggest something, so it doesn’t get repeated!). Patreon Donors can request anything, (as long as it’s not breaking any of my rules) and it will be added in the next update (This is because their donations help me afford things like my medications & food, so it’s the best way i can think of, of thanking them 💙 ) 

Q: How big can requested/suggested items be? Can you make something huge like a dragon or a greenhouse? A: Minecraft & Blockbench have a limit of 3x3x3 blocks (3 blocks wide, 3 blocks tall, 3 blocks long), so unfortunately, I am limited in what I can make :( I also have a limit on rotations! (Which sucks!) So i can only make things rotate/move side-to-side, or forward-backward. Rotating a block diagonally is outside the parameters of the program/game 😔 

Q: What Program do you use to make things with? A: I use Blockbench! You can get it for free from Blockbench.net, and it’s fairly easy to learn how to use 😁  

Q: How do you make animated items? A: I make the item i want to animate in blockbench, and then save it as a .json file. Then i move it, bit by bit, saving each new movement as another .json file (make sure you edit the display section too, or you’ll have to do it all over again!). Once i have every “frame” of the animation made into a json file, i go [This Site] and upload the json files & texture files. Then you can just drag the files into the order you like, and preview how they’ll look. (You can also add in duplicate frames to slow it down!). Then you hit “export” and save the file as a (3 for Java edition), and plop it into your resource pack :D I plan on making a video explaining this soon! 💙

Q: Some textures are missing/flickering/have pink & black boxes! What do i do? A: Let me know (either here, or on discord) which item has the issue, and i’ll check it out. Chances are, either i forgot to texture something, or it’s an older object from when I didn’t know how to fix the flickering (which i now do!). I’ll get it fixed in the next update 💙

Q: Can I make my own CIT pack? A: Absolutely! You don’t have to give me or Mizunos credit, as we weren’t the first people to do it either -- but I’d love for you to show me what you’ve made, so that I can download & share it too 😁💙  

Q: Can i use Ghoulcraft on my server/in my modpack/etc? A: Absolutely! Make sure you give Credit to both myself and Mizuno for their textures, and go nuts!   😁💙  

Q: Can i help you make models/Will you hire me? A: I’m very picky with how my models look (not saying mine are perfect, because they’re definitely not! lol) but I wouldn’t be opposed to adding in some player-made things to the pack! Right now though, I’m not in the market for hiring anyone to “work” for me (as i don’t have the income to pay anybody) but if you’d like to volunteer your models, I will gladly accept them, and give you credit for them 💙

Q: Can you teach me how to make items? A: I plan on making a set of videos teaching people how to make their own items very soon <3

my bmc au's that are very, very closely linked to minecraft

for that anon who asked some time ago

a little context to these: i love minecraft fan content. roleplays, fanfics, alternate forms of gameplay, the like. and, of course, bmc is severely lacking minecraft content, so i decided to remedy that just a bit with these seven au's !

(please note: the endgame for every one of these is meremine, whether romantic or qpr. the other ships i'm not particularly picky on, but do keep in mind that that is the shipping context on those three. another thing of note is that jenna is aroace, and i tend to lean on making characters aro, just because i want to. they're all tight-knit, too, since i as an aro person desperately want them to be found family-esque. this "shippy" aspect is not up for discussion in any way)

1.

of course, a collection of minecraft au's wouldn't be complete without the ever-standard "they met online through a video game" au. i've got... quite a bit latched onto this au, honestly.

michael runs a faction, whereas jeremy plays on factions without one just raiding and doing whatever. jeremy and christine do a lot on creative, roleplaying their hearts out. and i feel the whole trio plays skyblock. i really like skyblock. it can't be helped.

the squip only appears momentarily in this au as a griefer. they're banned from minecraft forever for their crimes.

the whole squad eventually makes a town together. i forget what i decided the name was but it's funky and they have a blast !! towny is... a delight.

jake is a server staff member and mr. reyes owns the server ! jake enjoys some creative roleplay and he's probably in michael's faction.

eventually they do all meet up ! first they meet in their little mini groupings but they also definitely have a big old get-together where they're like hello fellow minecrafters !!!

it's honestly been a while since i've talked about this au, which is a shame, because it's great fun ! i adore it.

2.

the next au, one of my all-time fave au's, is based loosely on the pixel trapped series by ash schmidt.

i call it the earthcraft au, because the premise is that the worlds of minecraft and earth were once one world called earthcraft, but have since split.

jeremy, michael, rich, thomas (rich's brother), jenna, and chloe live in minecraft, while christine, dustin, jake, brooke, and madeline live on earth. squip is an evil wizard with an extended lifespan who lives in minecraft, but doesn't particularly interact with the squad outside of pulling them into different worlds or sending monsters that have been drained of personal magic after them.

eventually, squip gets shoved into the void, earthcraft is reformed (although.... it does have a bit of a split where all the people i don't want on earthcraft get to rot on a dying world), and the kids are reunited with their parents- except for jake and the goranskis, whose parents can rot in hell.

3.

this one is based off of the minecraft diaries roleplay series by aphmau ! i was a huge fan in middle school, and i'm quite fond of the premise and such. it might have some narrative decisions i disliked, but it was a good story, in my opinion.

so, jeremy wakes up in the middle of the woods, outside a village. he has.... no memory, of anything. in the village, he meets michael and christine, two guards who are glad he wants to join the village and help out.

the village's lord recently died, so they're trying to find a replacement while rebelling against a neighboring evil ruler that wants more territory who happens to be michael's brother (he has two)- squip.

there's also the whole shadow knights thing, which i don't feel like getting into right now, and also the thing where jeremy and his associates are literally godly beings.

(whether it be that they're the latest reincarnation.... or they wiped their memories recently in the hopes of not having to suffer as their closest friends died and reincarnated and died again.... the usual)

4.

this next one is a joyous adventure in learning ! it's based on the wonder quest series by stampylongnose, just the first season, really.

jeremy and christine are an adventuring duo on the search for cake ! just when they manage to find some, though, they fall into the world of wonderburg- a wonderful (hehe) town full of curiosity..... usually.

however, their sense of wonder has been stolen by a heinous wizard named squip, who desperately wants to be found funny ! his brother, another wizard named michael, has summoned the pair to help him track down the pieces of the wonder cube- a magical gem that provides wonderberg with its everlasting wonder- that squip broke.

there's many shenanigans, as squip tries to send his henchmen rich and jake after them- but they mostly just mess around,- and lots of learning ! it all comes to a close with squip realizing they can just subject themself to physical pain for laughs... which is, at the end of the day, all they really wanted.

(i feel i should clarify: the reason they haven't found another way to be funny is because they literally do not understand jokes. they just want people to laugh at their jokes. they do not care what it takes to get those laughs. if getting blasted with fireballs repeatedly gets laughs, they're down for it.)

this au is also one of my all-time faves !! it's based on the fairytale fallout roleplay series by bbpaws and dangthatsalongname !!

(tw for: implications of/references to abuse, mentions of cannibalism, kidnapping, all particularly with children as the victims)

so, christine and michael are two friends that are trying to play some minigames in the multiverse of minecraft worlds, but when they try to jump through the portal into the lobby, they instead wind up in the world of misthaven. while trying to figure where they are and what's going on, the duo stumbles across a tower in the middle of the woods.

this tower is home to none other than jeremy heere, a kid with a really, really long scarf that he knit as a replacement for the lengthy hair he's chopped off. he sends michael and christine on a quest for enough dyes to change his scarf to rainbow, and in return he gives them a painting and joins them on their adventure.

as it turns out, misthaven has been cursed by a witch (note the pattern) so that all the fairytale characters who live there no longer have their happy endings. the town has also been left in ruin.

however, michael and christine were prophesied to arrive and save the land with the aid of jeremy so... now they're doing that. and what better way to fight evil magic than to help out its very victims ?

(rich and his brother are the witch's henchmen, but extremely unwillingly and only to the extent that they carry out her orders while also making it so they're essentially nonfunctional. the witch is rich's squip and her brother is the mother gothel to jeremy's rapunzel- and also jeremy's squip.)

this one's a skyblock au ! i love them funky islands in the sky. basically, the whole squad lives in a skyblock version of the minecraft worlds, in a hub of islands. it's pretty simple, but it's nice. jeremy, michael, and christine are on a set of islands that are right next to each other, so they coordinate island expansion.

this last one is a crack au. it's based off this one post by @/rockflavors, i believe, where minecraft diamonds are declared to have the taste of mountain dew baja blast. please, just... go with it.

naturally, i decided this meant jeremy could and would eat a minecraft diamond as an alternative to drinking mountain dew, given the chance. so, in this universe, minecraft is extra popular ! rock candy for minecraft diamonds that's made with mountain dew baja blast exists.

squip is activated Extra Chill™, fully decked out in vacation gear and a minecraft diamond shovel ! upgrade probably features jeremy eating a second diamond to upgrade the shovel into a sword.

the most important parts of this au are the kickoff and the party: the halloween party where everyone dresses up as minecraft mobs. and michael...... dresses up as a dolphin. the plan is to seduce jeremy into listening to him. i haven't actually thought about the showdown, so whether it works..... is up for debate.

to be frank with you, i have no idea how this one works out. it's weird and i really don't think about it all too much, but it is fun, too.

-everyone has phones. They're basically Shiekah Slates from BotW, PDA from Subnautica, or just an OP iPhone. They act as an inventory for those that don't have a bag on their skin (like Iskall has a backpack sometimes) but doesn't hold everything, like if you want wear armor then you actually put on the armor, not just stick it in a slot. It will hold extra armor items that you're not wearing though. Also has server chat (also likely Discord), and access to their version of the Internet. Probably screenshots as well but not magic with time-stopping powers or magnesis like a Shiekah Slate.

-everyone also has some sort of gadget (I was thinking a bracelet???) that allows access to and from servers. It's basically whitelist permissions/multiplayer menu in the actual game, but you can also join single player worlds from it as well. Linked to a player’s username.

-The hermits + all YouTubers + probably anyone who wants to use it can record their POV using some sort of eyewear. Glasses, sunglasses, robotics eyes, helmets, etc. (basically part of the skin or glasses if not) and upload it to their Internet for anyone to see. So all the big names are still big names and known worldwide, and while the style of content might be changed some because its more like a real vlog rather than a video, the content itself I imagine would stay the same. Also no, they're not recording 24/7. I think that in my content a lot of their stuff ISN'T recorded and my oneshots are often more likely the behind-the-scenes.

-Hermitcraft Recap exists from said vlogs then and very little actually changes with Zloy and Pixelriffs except that I imagine them having an actual small sound stage set up and it’s more like an actual news report instead of it just being voice overs.

-there is a "community hub" type place people can join where you can meet people, surf their web, or join some of the massive servers like Hypixel or Mineplex. Sort of like a limbo but not one to be concerned about? I imagine that after a certain point people have to go through the hub to join these massive servers because of the way they have to manage players and such. Maybe unless people buy a rank on the server, then they can warp there with the gadget I talked about before... not that I would be writing in Hypixel or something, but I wanted an example of useage for this HUB

-not everyone are part of servers- in fact, most people operate out of single player worlds. I imagine watching the YouTubers is a common hobby for normal people because I don't think there would be things like drawing or art in Minecraft...? Unless it's pixel art I guess

-people are not born with usernames. When most normal people are born they are given a username by parents/guardians (becoming a “player”) to grow up learning how to interact with different worlds. Other people (specifically hybrids or other non-humans) are created by players, whether on purpose or on accident, and while they aren’t human, they have the sentience and ability to be players, and someone who is already a player can easily get them a username to allow them to become one as well. Being human or being something else really has no effect on how people treat you, there is such an assortment of players it’s no big deal.

And if/when they die in that world, they are dead. If a hybrid becomes a player, they can lose the abilities of their non-human-like half (example creeper hybrids can no longer explode, basically committing suicide, and zombie/skeleton hybrids no longer burn in the sun) but may keep other abilities, say a blaze hybrid might still be able to throw fireballs.

-there is such thing as perma-death for players, but normally under bizarre circumstances that prevents respawn from working. Things like world corruption or glitches that can’t be recreated, and the player will not respawn even in the HUB.

These are all the concepts I've come up with for my writings. They're sort of more general Minecraft concepts, but because Hermitcraft applies to so many different things where people get content, post content, etc. I decided to do it like that.
