Wait, what's a MAP?

Ah.. I should explain that shouldn't I?

MAP stands for Multiple-Animator Project. It's basically a collaborative project made up of numerous animations by different creators!

You might have seen these before in the art fandom, if not, you're not a real artist /jk /nsrs /lh

Jokes aside, these projects tend to be fun for most creators and I'm hoping that this would bring some fun to the people joining :)

Is this begginer friendly?

Why yes it is! Regardless you're good at animation or not, you're welcome to join! Just... At least put some effort rather than being lazy?

Regardless, everyone is welcomed with open arms here! So don't be afraid ;)

What canvas size should I use?

1280x720 preferably! Just to make sure it doesn't take up too much of my data ;w;

But you can use any canvas size you'd want besides that! A box shape, or that weird YouTube short form... Nvm exclude that one but anyways, yeah any canvas size that you're comfortable with!

Is there a specific theme?

There's actually none! The map is supposed to just be a silly Mr puzzles map :3

This includes the setting and etc like- go crazy! Do a sad, fun, crazy, angry moment or something! Do what your imagination can make out of that song using Puzzles ^^

Is it okay if I can't remove my animating apps watermark?

It's completely fine if you can't remove it! Don't worry you're not the only broke one here ;)

Am I allowed to put my watermark?

Yes! You're incouraged to add in your watermark so people know it's your part!

Dw, if you don't have one them I'll just put your name while I'm editing the entire thing :)

Can I include my OCS or my Mr puzzles design?

Yes you can! You can also change your Puzzles aus whenever you'd like.

E.g my Showman Puzzles on part 1 and my Puzzles kinsona on part 2

It's just an example! If you're adding ocs, it's good! But the animation should primarily focused on Puzzles! He can interact with other characters but it's mostly just him. Oh and if you're wondering, it doesn't have to be SMG4 OCS :)

How many parts can I take?

Where should I ask for parts or send submissions at?

In the discord server I made! The link will be at the end of the post. I know I just replied to some in this blog and they got their parts, I will NOT be accepting any ask parts OUTSIDE of the server.

The same goes with submissions/finished parts, please do send it in discord.

Why is this? This is because I want everything to be easier for me so I could manage stuff. I get frustrated very easily so yeah 😭

Is there a deadline?

Well uh- I'm not sure! But it's probably going to be planned on the June or July, somewhere in the middle of the year. Though I will be making sure nobody feels rushed for their sake

✦ summary: for six months, the apartment next to jack's has been empty. then when summer rolls around, someone finally moves in—you. with your shy eyes and open heart, jack can't help but gravitate towards you.

imagine... jack coming home one day to find out that you’re his new neighbor.

it had been six months, and the apartment next to his was still empty. he wasn't complaining though, the old tenant happened to be an aspiring saxophonist who, frankly, wasn't very good. jack had spent far too many mornings unwillingly listening to saxophone practices while trying to catch up on sleep before he was off to work that same night.

so when the guy came knocking on his door one day with a cardboard box in hand and explaining how he found a "gig" in louisiana and wanted to say his farewells, jack couldn't have been more than happier to say goodbye and get some peace and quiet back.

it had been a nice couple of silent months.

but then, summer came.

it was already hot when jack was getting home one early morning from shift. the sun was beaming and the air almost felt sticky from the summer heat. as he trudged his way back to his apartment floor with heavy shoulders, he was more than surprised to see an assortment of boxes stacked near the empty apartment by his own, the door opened ajar.

and then he saw you.

you wore a pair of overalls splattered with dried paint, a white tank peeking from underneath. your hair was up in a puff, edges slightly curling up from the heat and effort of moving things around. a pair of oversized clear glasses sliding down the bridge of your nose as you struggled to drag in a potted plant that had no business being brought indoors into your now apartment.

jack blinked.

then blinked again.

you looked like... a burst of color. a walking, breathing palette of warmth.

he stood for a second longer than he meant to, before slowly making his way over to you, dropping his backpack by his door.

"need a hand?" he finally asked, voice gruff and filled with exhaustion.

you looked up, startled. "oh—hi! uhm.. yes? if you don't mind?"

he did. he really did. all jack wanted to do on his way home was take a long shower and try to sleep. his body was sore, foot aching from his very long 12 hour shift.

but it was you.

something about you radiated everything he wasn't, and maybe—everything he needed.

so he stayed.

because it wouldn't hurt to help out his new neighbor... right?

It is now 2:40 in the morning, you can hear the strong wind whistling as loud as the cars drive past and the branch of the tree on your front porch banging on your window for the past hour. Maybe that’s what's keeping you awake, or maybe it’s everything else that has been going on preventing you from sleeping. 

Nevertheless, you sit up and push your blanket aside, turning on the old lamp that barely lights up the entirety of the room. 

You sat down cross-legged on the floor and looked over at the box of your mother’s belongings again, scrutinizing more desperately, pushing stacks of old medical records and yellowing photos. The smell of old paper and your mothers scent lingers, like she never even left. 

Then your hand brushes something thin, it feels crisp and old, it is wedged between the cardboard and the bottom of the box, very easy to miss. You pull it out slowly, and your breath catches your throat. 

It was a makeshift booklet. No cover. Just a small stack of aged, yellow paper folded in half and held together by two staples along the spine. The first page is blank except for a date that looked like it was written in a hurry, uneven scrawl. 

March 12, 1998

I told her I’d wait for her. I always do. 

She doesn’t know what’s happening, she doesn’t understand any of it, and I’d be damned if I let her. 

I should’ve stopped Grisha. I should’ve seen what they were doing to him, what they were doing to the rest of them. 

Everyday I see eyes on my daughter, on me, they wait, and just when I thought I could get her away, when I thought I could protect her, was when they’d come after her. 

If I am not here to protect her, or if something happens tonight, just know that I tried to leave, but he made sure I never could. 

You closed the booklet in confusion, noticing the sun already out when peering out into the window. 

The timeline, this was the day of your mothers death. She wrote this when she set you out for scratch cards but why? Who is ‘he’? How was Levi arrested so quickly? 

And why would the police arrest someone across the country without airtight proof? 

You stood up from the floor and grabbed your jacket and keys before going to the police station. 

All you could think about during the drive was how no stories were matching, the police stated one thing, Levi, Eren, and your mother stating the other. 

As you arrived at the station you grabbed your ID and tapped inside, you made sure you went unnoticed before going into the station's archives. 

The room was cold. The concrete walls and the old flickering overhead lights show that no one has been down here in a long time, everything looked run down and was starting to rust, it was an archive after all, no one pays attention to these things anymore. 

You grabbed an old evidence file from 1998, fingers grazing over the worn label marked Avon / Lange Case. 

You flipped it open. 

Incident reports, photocopied photographs, photos of the crime scene, a picture of you, the wall, and your mother. But something was off. 

There was no source of a witness statement – none. It was listed in the log summary, referenced twice in the officer’s notes, but the actual statement was gone. Fully redacted or never even included at all. Either someone made a mistake, or someone made sure it disappeared. 

As you stare down the hollow spot where the statement should be, your fingers tremble as what you touch freezes you in your spot entirely. 

Tucked behind a brittle folder divider is a picture of you, as a child, leaving your home to buy scratchcards. 

The image is grainy, but it was clearly taken in a rush. You’re frozen mid-step, your backpack slightly open, holding crumpled dollar bills in your fist. The timestamp in the bottom corner reads exactly when your mother sent you out. 

But that’s not what makes your stomach turn. 

It was taken from inside of the house, a window from a room where your mother was obviously not in. Someone else was in there.

Your breath hitches in a rampant and scared hurry as you shove the photo in your pocket, but before you could close the drawer and the folder shut, something else catches your eye. Another folder marked “Confidential – Internal Use Only.” the folder being stamped multiple times with red ink: RESTRICTED. 

You flip it open anyway. 

It was a memo, from March 14, 1998. Just a couple of days after your mothers death.

Investigative Services Department 

Date: March 14, 1998

Subject: Immediate Suspect

During the investigation conducted by Avon PD on Thursday, 3/14/1998, at 235 6th Blvd. Suspect Levi Ackerman is to remain in state federal custody under sealed charges. While initial findings seem to confirm that he was not present at the residence at the time of the incident, he is still listed as the primary suspect for public records. 

Cease all field surveillance immediately. No further interviews permitted. The case of Avon/Lange is to be marked CLOSED for all non-essential personnel. Contact with Subject E. Yeager to be monitored and watched closely. Destroy all duplicates of this case. This is not a request.

Congratulations students , we have made it to the end of the semester! 

For the next few days students will begin reviewing their portfolios to make sure work has been posted correctly before we add the final curated portfolio.

You were asked during the semester, to add work daily to your Tumblr portfolio. 

You should have included artists statements for various assignments and process photos and  photos of completed assignments.

You will now begin the final step of this assignment.

Students will spend the next few days  creating a final post that includes a Curated Portfolio.

ALL curated portfolios will be posted by  5 pm on Monday with a link added to this threads post from today as a response.

This is how I will start grading each portfolio.

You will label your final post as follows:

TIPS FOR SUBMITTING A PROFESSIONAL TUMBLR Portfolio:

Make sure your tumblr blog and your threads account has an avatar and banner with a proper title.

Below are some tips on perfecting your portfolio:

1 - Choose your best completed work.

2 - Use correct lighting at home to photograph your work.

3 - Make sure you frame your work correctly.

This means correct lighting, sharp image, work framed correctly in vertical format.

( There should be no showing of floor, bed sheets, table , slanted , side angle or blurry images)

⸻ 12. what’s some good advice you want to share? This past year I've been doing a lot of soul searching / reflecting on stuff and working on myself, so I'll list a couple of things that really helped me and stuck with me: Disclaimer - obviously this won't be helpful for everyone, but these things are highly flexible to use, so maybe someone finds them as useful as me.

: ̗̀➛ Journaling. Every morning I write down three things I am grateful for, set one goal for the day (can be anything from tiny tasks to larger stuff), and the book I use for this also gives me a little mindfulness task on every page, which varies. In the evening I assess if I managed to achieve my goal, how my energy levels are and check some pre-determined boxes (drank enough water, moved my body, ate healthy, was mindful.... etc), as well as answer one small prompt the book gives me. Additionally I started to braindump before bed (just writing down w/e comes to mind), as well as jotting down the things I do over the day in a list so I can see that I am not as inactive as my head makes me believe sometimes. : ̗̀➛ Refuse to deal with subtexts. People have a mouth / hands / ways to communicate with you. If they take issue with something they have a problem with, they should communicate it. Otherwise it's a them-problem, not a you-problem. You don't have to interpret what someone might think. You're not a mindreader. : ̗̀➛ Routines. This sounds dull, and believe me I had trouble implementing this, but once something is repeated often enough, it just sticks. Be it the time you wake up, stuff that helps your health (taking supplements, drinking water right after waking up, etc.) or stuff that helps with a better sleep hygiene (no displays one hour before going to sleep, reading more, drinking a cup of tea, mediation etc.) It was difficult to get used to, but I can absolutely see the benefits and try to stick to it most days, simply because I know it helps me have a better quality of life. : ̗̀➛ Romanticize your daily life as much as possible. This ofc depends on a lot of factors, but I try to apply this to the most mundane stuff like cleaning my apartment, going for walks, cooking, preparing my morning coffee... Sometimes life just sucks, but okay-ish days get instantly better if you romanticize them a little.

⸻ 14. what’s something you’ve always wanted to do but maybe been to scared to do? Hmm... in terms of actually being too scared due to phobia: Anything to do with heights. I kind of would love to experience the adrenaline rush of skydiving or bungee jumping, but I can hardly even step on a chair without having issues :'D

⸻ 17. name 3 things that make you happy My cats, my apartment (coupled with how I decorated it), autumn - the crisp air, the colorful leafs, mist, chill weather, being able to properly layer my clothes again... Also the smell of rain, a nice cup of coffee, playing my favorite games, the rush of a hyperfixation taking off - especially when rambling to someone equally as invested, spending my saturdays doing absolutely nothing except what I want and pampering myself, blond bastard men D;

⸻ 20. favourite (2) things about the night? The stillness. Barely anyone outside, everything is a muffled and subdued, most people just want to get home, so walking outside is usually extremely peaceful. Also the sky. Not so much when it's cloudy ofc, but I often spend time just staring into the night sky and looking for shooting stars, constellations, thinking about how small and insignificant we are.

⸻ 23. say 3 things about someone you hate OKAY SO. xD Admittedly it takes a lot for me to hate someone, usually I am somewhere between pettiness, saltiness, annoyance or, best case, indifference. But if I had to pick someone it would likely be work-related. Because man. These people pulled some nasty shit. SOOOOOOO- This particular person .... I'm at least 80% sure they're bi-curious/-questioning or gay-curious/-questioning. Because why else ask me about my sexuality if we hardly have anything to do with each other. Nasty fuck. They're opportunistic and manipulative to the point that I'm very certain they stir shit up behind everyone's back just because they can. They're utterly bland, boring and uninteresting which is probably why they can't stand me. And I hope they have the life they deserve (derogatory).

⸻ 30. what’s one thing that never fails to make you happy/happier? Pretty much what I listed in 17 - but if we're thinking in terms of having a shit day with extremely bad mood, I usually try to parent myself. Make myself a hot chocolate with vanilla, some sweet treats, order food if I don't have the energy for anything else and just all around allow myself to exist without having to do anything much. It absolutely helps to alleviate any negativity after a while. Also ofc having my cats around me to cheer me up. And putting characters in situations, if my energy levels allow.

⸻ 34. any pet peeves? Certain high pitched noises. Or generally loud, penetrant noises. Rudeness. It's not hard to show a modicum of politeness and yet I can hardly move outside one day without being upset about how utterly rude people are. Unclear instructions / constantly flipping priorities around without any sense and brain (again, very work related xD). People not knowing concert / mosh pit etiquette. And phones at concerts, beloathed.

⸻ 37. share a secret I am fairly spiritual and used to be a practicing Wicca. I am, however, not overly supersticious. The way I approach things is I like the look for a scientific explanation first, but am open to believe there is something more to life, death, etc. than that. Helloooo! My first time participating in one of these ask games, I couldn’t resist!

1. Seaglass! I ADORE the tweels in there, and while I haven’t read it in a whiiile, I love how unsettling and quiet the scenes are! They’re so strange and scary, but I can’t resist reading more and more— but one scene that stuck with me the most was waking up, the way you wrote of the body and the blood and the pain, I ADORE IT!

7. Probably DRU! Before stumbling upon your blog, I’d just gotten through a little obsession with a fic called Bloodlust (on ao3, by a user named F_Smutt_Fitzgerald), and I was head over heels for contrast of calm and chaotic/“savage” (not really sure what to call it), and while Jade doesn’t exactly fit into that little box, the thought of such a calm and composed character having such a side to him blew my mind, and lord I am thankful for it.

9. MOONBROCH (seaglass 2, if my memory isn’t messin with me again)! I’m so ready for it, and jumped to the poll you posted as soon as I saw it on there. Was a bit sad to see it didn’t win, but I’ll wait as long as needed for it 🙏 anything for Moonbroch!

11. More Jamil! Me and a friend love him, and while he shares a bit of similarity to Jade (the j’s strong together hehe), I find that he’s more normal. He certainly isn’t as infamous as the more courteous fish mafia member, and since Azul’s established the livestream was really just a call to Kalim and the likes, his reputation isn’t even ruined. He’s just an outstanding babysitter to the rest of NRC, which leaves much more room for deception and shenanigans >:]

12. Many! One I didn’t expect to read as much as I did was Rollo’s letters in your Lunar Love Hotel event. I don’t really like Rollo’s design (his bowl cut is too funny for me to thirst over him), but how you wrote him was AMAZING. Reignited my love for characters who know what they’re doing is bad, but can’t resist. A tear of morality and desire, which I adore so much!

13. Yes!! I adore your writing, and often talk to some of my writing friends about your works. Originally, I found your blog surfing tumblr with a friend (I’m a born n bred Floyd lover, and you definitely supplied), and have been sharing it with a few friends since!

Sea Glass!!!! Yes, 'quiet' is the perfect way to describe it!!! I wanted to portray this feeling of quiet unrest in the fic. There's a dreadful peacefulness to the beginning scenes, but once the reader becomes entangled in a scheme that has been in the works for years things begin to feel so suffocating!! The tweels are absolute menaces in that fic. I'm glad you could enjoy them and the way I described the murder scene! I wanted to write it in a way that was so visceral you couldn't tear your eyes away. The entire plot came to me when I had the thought: what if Reader was the one who did the killing and the yandere holds that over their head? And thank you for looking forward to Moonbroch!!!! It's definitely going to be a wild sequel. >:)

After reading your ask, I went and binged "Bloodlust" right away and oooooo it did not disappoint! It hurt me in the best ways. >_< reading about Floyd grappling with his own monstrous whims and the desire to either hurt or help Shrimpy... it was so good. The emotions and feelings were written so powerfully. Azul's cover-up scheme... and Jade!!!!! GOSH. T_T the ending left me in horrified awe. Poor Shrimpy... the eels are the worst, aren't they? ;;;; I'm glad that DRU can evoke similar emotions in you!! I also love the contrast of composed and calm with secretly sinister and brutal. Jade fits into that trope so wonderfully!! I love writing about his secret sides as a serial killer. He's terrifying. <3

Oooo yes yes!!! I definitely want to write more for Jamil. The J's are indeed stronger together hehe lol!! Along with your points, I also find that Jamil is far more outwardly trustworthy and reliable. When compared to Octavinelle, whose reputations are all quite iffy, Jamil has this safety about him that makes you more prone to trusting him. I think that makes it easier for him to deceive you. He always downplays his own capabilities. He's really just a servant, or so he says, but the truth is that there is much more to Jamil than meets the eye... There is so much room for lots of devious shenanigans!!! I hope to write it more often!

AAAAA YAAAYY!!! It is my duty to spread the Rollo agenda!!! ( `･ω･´)9 I'm so happy you enjoyed that fic!! Writing in first-person letter format was very fun!! I love it when characters struggle with moral dilemmas and even go through with their terrible actions despite being aware that it's wrong. Rollo is perfect for that sort of character type!! I loved writing him continuously reassuring himself and the reader that he's so patient and logical and righteous when he's actually none of those things and is just a depraved, perverted stalker. I'm also glad you liked 11:11!!!! Rook's character is so perfect for so many yandere tropes, and I wanted to capture just a fraction of his off-putting creepiness. i have made A PIE WIZARD

he started as a pie baron an he looked EVIL but then i baked aAAALLL the evil out and he became. so sweet indeed

and he TASTES KINDA LIKE? A CARAMEL LEMON APPLE SAUCE PIE? it is VERY YUMMY

heres my FUCKING recipe if you wanna TRY IT

ingrebients:

- box of aldis pie crust (or make your own idk how to do this)

- a bag o pink lady apples (or granny smith? or some other kinda apples. if u make another type lemme know. i used about 9-10 medium sized an it was a pretty full pie)

- two whole lemons

- 3 Tbsp flour

- a half cup of white sugar an another half cup of brown sugar

- some chrismas music goin on in the background

- cinnamon stick (or 2 tsp of ground cinnamon. its fun to grind up the cinnamon yourself w a mortar an pestle)

- 1/4 tsp nutmeg

- 1/4 cup o water

- 1/4 tsp salt

1: cut the apples, put em in a big big bowl

2: cut the two lemons an squeeze the juice up over the apples

3: go to the stovetop an in a saucepan youre gonna melt a stick of butter. an as its melting put in the 3 Tbsp of flour an schmix it up

4: mix in a lil bowl 1/4 cup water, the ground up cinnamon, the 1/4 tsp nutmeg, the 1/4 tsp salt, both the sugars, a tsp? of vanilla maybe a 1/4 one, an then mix it with the flour butter schlop

let that get up to a boil an let it boil for a minute? an then simmer it for another. should be caramely

5: put 3/4th of that in with the apples an leave the rest for a bit

6: put the crust in yo 8x8 inch pan, i do a square one. then put the apple slop in there

do the other crust on top. get creative step here

7: put the rest of the schlop on top of the pie

8: gotta armor up your pie wrap the crust edges w aluminum foil

9: BAKE for 10-12 mins at 425F, THEN bake for 50 mins at 350F

10: sing songs to it while it bakes so sweetly....,,,,

11: wait for it to cool a lil. pairs well w an ice cream flavor that you love!!

Rejection is foreign to Wonwoo.

Most times, it’s him that’s doing the rejecting. He was the one to always initiate the break up, to lose feelings first, every decision was made by him. He has no control over whether you’re going to text him back or not, and to put it simply, he can’t stand that feeling. 

Wonwoo hates not being in control. Whether that be his future, his relationships, and especially his feelings. At least that’s what he forces himself to believe. That it’s not fair of you to ignore him when he’s worried about you, because he’s your best friend. You should answer him when he texts you. When he calls you, and especially when he shows up to your door, seeking your comfort. In his mind, that is what he believes the foundation of your friendship is. To comfort each other, just like it always has been. 

Sure, maybe Wonwoo is entitled, perhaps he’s conceited and selfish, but he doesn’t care. Because in his mind, you’re his bestfriend. There was no way in hell that you were ignoring him. His ego doesn’t even consider it a possibility. You were busy, that’s it. That has to be it.

Less than fourty-eight hours in, Wonwoo couldn’t stop himself from texting you once more. Nimble fingers practically itching to open your contact to update you about the most mundane things. Maybe if he pretended that this moment of silence is perfectly normal, then maybe, you would eventually end up answering him. 

12:36 p.m [wons <3]: class just finished. lunch at our usual place?

Nothing. Not even a thumb’s up reaction. Wonwoo had become antsy, guilt and slight annoyance gnawing at the pit of his stomach. Where the hell are you? What are you doing that’s so important that you couldn’t even open his message let alone read them? 

1:27 p.m.  [wons <3]: this random girl asked for my number after class lol. weird right? i didn’t give it to her though 😁

Cursing at himself, he regrets pressing the send button on that text. Double texting you is already out of the norm for him, but triple texting? He can’t believe how desperate he looks right now. He wishes he could bring himself to unsend it, but he just hopes it’ll be the text that finally gets you to respond. 

2:10 p.m. [wons <3]: saw a bunny running thru the oval today u should’ve seen it! reminded me of u.  [1 photo attachment] 

Absolute radio silence from your end. Wonwoo is starting to think that you had him blocked, but his messages are still delivering. Unsure of what’s worse, you ignoring him or blocking his number, Wonwoo still tries his best to remain calm.

4:00 p.m. [wons <3]: im about to head home soon. r u riding w me today? 

The sight of you getting into Seokmin’s car made Wonwoo scoff. Since when did you start getting rides home from Seokmin? And why was he the one opening the door for you? Buckling your seatbelt instead of his own? Wonwoo is completely dumbfounded at what he had witnessed. 

4:30 p.m.  [wons <3]: saw u get into seokmin’s car, lmk if u need a ride tmrw. 

Seeing you laugh and smile while walking to the student parking lot with Seokmin of all people solidified the fact that you are actively ignoring his texts. And he just can’t stand the thought of it. How dare he be ignored? Especially by his best friend, the one person who had always responded to him, no matter the time or how busy you were, you always texted him back. 

Wonwoo initially thought that even if the world ended, you would be there within arms reach, enough to hold you close, where he can keep you safe. You were predictable in that sense. But if the world decided to burst into flames, or swallow itself whole tomorrow, he’s unsure if you would be there right next to him by the time he woke up.
