for @warlockisaslur, continued from here
ㅤㅤㅤ"Maybe I am, but that doesn't make it less true." Teddy replies, his tone filled with the kind of a confidence only a teenaged boy can have.  He twitches at the prodding but makes sure not to move so much it might dislodge Billy from where he's burrowed against the larger boy's side. It still surprises Teddy sometimes, just how much Billy seems to like him, how easy their conversations flow even when they're talking about hard stuff… how Teddy doesn't feel like he has to be anyone other than himself with the younger teen.
ㅤㅤㅤFor someone capable of changing into anyone and anything, it's a… well, it's a rare quality in his friends, let alone a Boyfriend.
ㅤㅤㅤTeddy still can't help feeling a shivery little thrill when he thinks about that word in relation to Billy, but he's trying to be cool about it.
Tumblr media
ㅤㅤㅤ"Look, I'm just sayin'…" He tugs at the blanket to ensure it hasn't fallen off Kaplan's shoulders, tangling their feet together just because he can, "there are a lot of people out there with powers of some kind, most of them have something like what I've got. But…"
ㅤㅤㅤTeddy hesitates, not because he doesn't believe what he's about to say, but because speaking it feels… vulnerable. Like maybe he'll be too much. A green flush tinges the teenagers skin, but he says it anyway--
ㅤㅤㅤ"Nobody is quite like you, Billy. Nobody even holds a candle."

where: new york city | when: day time | whom: open to all
Tumblr media
Teddy lands on a roof top overlooking New York City. He still thinks it's one of the best cities in the world. Though he supposes he's pretty biased considering he hasn't been many other places besides the city.
But still. This is where the people he loves are, so he doesn't care if he's biased.
He looks around and jumps when he realizes he's not the only person on the rooftop.
"Sorry," he says, not really seeing who it is at first. "Didn't realize this roof was taken. I can go if you want?"
He spreads his wings, ready to take off if needed.

@merriemarvels sent: “ I disappoint my father as a hobby now. ” (for Teddy from Luna because there is NO reason they shouldn't have met by now lmao)
Tumblr media
ㅤㅤㅤPerhaps Teddy shouldn't laugh at a statement like that, considering. But… well, he kind of can't help it. Luna's wit is razor sharp for her age, and the quip about Pietro is just a little too much like something Billy might say. Leaning back on his palms, the Kree-Hybrid grins at her and shakes his head.
ㅤㅤㅤ“…you'd fit right in with the Young Avengers, y'know?” He replies, expression softening as he thinks of his friends, of how they've cobbled together a family out of shared traumas and broken homes. Yeah, Teddy knows they'd like Luna.
ㅤㅤㅤ"-- and anyway, from what I've heard about it, seems like your dad is the one being disappointing.” Teddy also knows a little something about that.

Tumblr media
ㅤㅤㅤ“Always a good thing.” Teddy murmurs, clearly amused. He tilts his cheek into the brush of Billy's fingertip, expression softened as much by affection as it is by his impending fatigue. For all that Dorrek would not trade his lot in life, ruling as Emperor to two formerly warring societies is… exhausting, even on good days.
Tumblr media
ㅤㅤㅤExhaling a slow breath, Teddy dips his eyes closed and commands the room's automation, “Dim lights and make the hull window transparent.” Simultaneously, their bedroom is plunged into a velvety darkness, broken only by the ambient shine of the celestial bodies beyond Throneworld II. Eventhough Hulkling's eyes remain closed, he smiles, the hard lines of his body relaxing gradually against Billy's side.
ㅤㅤㅤ“We should take that vacation…” He says drowsily, thumb sliding along the ridge of Billy's bare collarbone, a slow caress. “…wherever you want.”
Tumblr media
He couldn't help a little snicker at the ticklish feeling of Teddy's lips trailing over his skin; his fingers brushed lazily through the blond's hair as he let loose with a deeply satisfied sigh that turned to a little hum wen their lips locked together. Nothing compared to the simple joy, the calming peace of forgetting everything else save this. No more stolen moments or secrets. They were married, he could kiss this man whenever he damned well pleased and nobody could say a word about it.
And honestly -- if he wanted to make out with his husband like they were a couple of teenagers, who was to stop him? Who would dare?
Tumblr media
Teddy, apparently. He chased Teddy's lips just a little as the kiss broke, but was grinning when his eyes opened to look up at him. "Better. Doesn't feel like it's going to crack in half and spill dangerous chaos-magic all over the sheets," he joked, trailing a finger over the dusting of freckles along Teddy's cheek.

Pietro is a very underutilized character, as is Lorna. Magneto's children are an undiscovered gold mine; I want to see more stories that involve them both on a deeper level. Less evil Pietro, more Pietro with emotional issues and daddy issues. Less Lorna in strange love triangles, more of Lorna as her father's heir, Queen of Metal, Mistress of Magnetism.
I agree that Pietro is underutilized lately. They've certainly had their focus in the past and I'd say that (ignoring Lorna) there's been a complete family conflict arc told, climaxing with Wanda choosing 🧲O and Pietro rejecting him. Lorna pops up now and then but not nearly enough for my liking. She's been established as that heir, but as little focus as possible was given to it and Lorna in general (Marvel has difficulty envisioning her as anything but Havok's gf or object of angst.)
The difficulty with doing more with Max and the twins is the same as it's been for 40+ years - they're under the Avengers office and Mags is firmly X-Men. His death and opinion was the inciting incident in the recent-ish Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver series, but Joseph (lol) got more page time than Mags did. With Jed Mackay writing both Avengers and X-Men right now, I'd say there's a unique opportunity to do more with them. With DOOM, tribulation events, Raids and X-Manhunt, everyone has had their hands full.
Tumblr media
Wave hello!
Tumblr media
Comrade Wokeneto. I love it, though it's hard to believe Wanda couldn't cure him easily.
Wanda was with The Avengers when they came for baseball and dinner in Avengers #21, and it was nice to see that they care for each other. Mags even shared his ideological epiphany that started in X-Men Red, developed in Resurrection of Magneto, and was codified in Uncanny #700 (and FotHox, I guess.)
Unfortunately, Mags doesn't leave the house due to *sigh* R-LDS. He's apparently dying slowly and he's depressed about it. We don't have a lot of information bc he's not a prominent character ATM, but interviews suggest this is a long term plot. Wanda is an active Avenger and Pietro is ???There's plenty of opportunity there, and I hope it's picked up.
Pietro himself hasn't been seen since Blood Hunt, or maybe his appearance in Scarlet Witch was more recent. He was dating Monet when we saw him last, and she's locked up in Graymalkin now. Lorna is leading the Mutant Underground, though we know next to nothing about them. Seems right up Magneto's alley tbh. There are plenty of threads waiting to be pulled on, so fingers crossed I guess.
There wasn't a question there, so I'll just talk about what I want - a Magneto solo book and/or a family book. Mags has undergone a drastic paradigm shift and I need that explored. Pietro and Mags can't stand each other and the bio relationship isn't there, but the latter doesn't matter much to me. Pietro and Wanda consider Lorna a sister and vice versa, so the link is there. Mags has grown up a bit too, though he was still a bit of a jerk to Pietro last time they saw each other. If I'm being generous he wasn't trying to be, but he wasn't trying to be kind either.
That said, I respect Pietro's decision to not want the old man in his life. He's been an awful father and hasn't really reckoned with the harm he did to Pietro specifically. I'm wary of Marvel pulling some 'family is family' bullshit, so in the unlikely event that they do get the four together that would need to be handed carefully. Truthfully, I'd settle for anything with them rn :). Getting the grandkids in there would be even better. Tommy and Billy are always a delight they haven't interacted with Mags directly since Children's Crusade AFAIK. They were all in the same place for The Trial of Magneto, but Mags dropped out of focus once Wanda resurrected. He didn't come to the wedding/wasn't invited, unfortunately, and Ambassador Magneto was in charge of relations with the Kree-Skrull empire without seeing Wiccan or Hulkling.
I want more!

where: nyc coffee shop | when: morning | whom: @heroicboys Karter
Tumblr media
Teddy sits at the outdoor table with his large coffee mug in civilian form. Meaning he's not a giant green winged alien (much to his boyfriend's dismay when they're out in public) but a big regular guy.
This mentorship program sounded interesting, so he'd signed up for it and got surprised at how quickly he got assigned someone named Karter Danvers from Metropolis. Apparently, traveling isn't a huge issue for him, so they'd agreed to meet in New York.
He sips his coffee, head constantly looking around for who it might be.

Teddy huffs in surprise at the hug, but he does hug back despite his disappointment at the news.
Martian? Damn.
"Uh... not Martain," he replies with a wince, sad to probably disappoint the guy as well. "I'm Kree and Skrull. Way different galaxy."
He smiles as they separate, still trying to be friendly.
"But you're from Mars? That's cool. I'm Teddy or Hulkling if you prefer hero names?"
Tumblr media
"no, not busy - i think i was too deep in thought to not read those people's minds because it is apparent rude." a soft murmur, pointing at the people that the young martian had dipped in to save and all that they wanted was some gratitude, that they would pay the good deed forward. but m'cann was doing their best to be respectful.
when eyes met the other, m'cann perked a brow and was quick to stand up, floating with the martian powers and narrowing eyes. "are you also a martian!" green skin, it felt like home already and although he didn't get the initial telepathic thought maybe this martian was too-human and didn't know the common practice.
regardless, the young skirted hero was hugging the boy close to their body eagerly in greeting. "hi!"

@leschanceux sent: [ COLD ] — sender puts their cold fingers under receiver’s shirt ( billy & teddy! )

ㅤㅤㅤ"whu- Ahhh!" Teddy yelps, twisting like an eel as Billy's icicle fingers burrow under his sweater. The alien hisses, sucking in his stomach to dodge the assault on his warm skin. He grabs at his boyfriend's wrists to hold him at bay. "-- Hey now! Don't you have magic to keep you warm or something??"
ㅤㅤㅤHe has definitely seen Billy use magic for less vital reasons. Like Coffee.

So, which of the alien empires do you like better, the Kree or the Skrulls?
I feel mostly the same way about either, in that I don't particularly care for them in their own right, there is plenty I outright dislike most of them, but they can be useful worldbuilding elements to have around and have led to decent things over the years. I guess if I had to draw a straw here I'd say the Skrulls, but the Skrulls have more asterisks attached. I think the Skrulls have aged poorly overall and seem to be more trouble than they're worth.
Tumblr media
It simply was inevitable that the Fantastic Four, at the moment of their inception, would have to deal with little green spacemen bent on world domination, these being shapeshifting Red Scare allegories just being part-and-parcel of what alien invasion stories are generally about at core (well that and antisemitism). Invading armies made of alien races are just kind of grandfathered into superhero settings at this point, like one of those things you have to address or do at some point. I'd say my biggest issue with the Skrulls isn't so much that they exist, and less that they are made to embody ideas I find politically or socially or morally reprehensible (although that is an issue, and Secret Invasion was an abysmally fucking ugly chapter in Marvel history, I'll link these articles by Ritesh Babu and Kelly Kanayama who can better elaborate why), as much as I think they really fall apart as a concept that's meant to exist in a shared universe where everybody's gonna be approaching them with different sensibilities and everybody who does so is gonna do some course-correcting on the previous takes to make their new one stand. They are living breathing allegorical embodiments of The Other who are also meant to pose an actual verifiable threat to the planet, and when you treat that idea seriously, when it’s no longer the 60s and this stuff is no longer given a pass for being charmingly antiquated, what do you do with it?
Are the Skrulls refugees? Are they imperialists? Are they warmongering genocide enthusiasts by nature or are they just regular people abused and groomed into war by their leaders? Are they space capitalists or commies? Are they honorable warriors or filthy backstabbers? Are they evil jihadist extremists hellbent on destroying America? Are we supposed to cheer when the heroes enthusiastically destroy them to save the planet or is this an oh-so-sad why-couldnt-we-get-along thing where the superheroes are very sad they have no choice but to kill them all? Are we meant to distrust the heroes when they attack Skrulls who are clearly not the aggressors or is it just an understandable funny misunderstanding? Are they really just gonna keep ping-ponging between perfect aggressors and perfect victims depending on what is convenient? That just feels irresponsible and too discomforting to me.
Tumblr media
And I think that discomfort with their past depictions, with Secret Invasion, with the general fantasy orc problem they carry, is very clear in how modern creators tackle the Skrulls, and so they lean more heavily on making the Skrulls palatable, making them warriors torn between their honor and their loyalty to their dying empire, going hard on the angle of them as refugees displaced by war (which only makes the people at conflict with, the Kree and the superheroes, even less sympathetic in a way that never allows that thread to pan out), making conventionally pretty Skrulls like Hulkling to be "the good ones" in charge, drowning them in white savior bullshit that does little to address that fundamental tension and doesn't even last because eventually the Skrulls will be villains again, eventually it's their turn on the list of old pulp tropes superheroes recycle periodically. Even putting Secret Invasion aside, and you can't, the Skrulls are fundamentally a hostile endless race of alien monsters seeking to infiltrate America's borders by replacing it's people with themselves so they can take over the world. Valuable attempts have been made to flesh them out, but you are just not going to bleed that fascistic validation out of them.
Tumblr media
The most I ever liked the Skrulls as a concept is probably in that storyline where Ben Grimm gets captured and sent to a Skrull planet where they are all obsessed with imitating Prohibition-era gangsters and forcing several other captive aliens to battle out, simultaneously allowing The Thing to deal with an upscaled gangster problem and a Star Trek problem and a Flash Gordon problem all in one. Skrulls-as-Space-Gangsters felt like it was onto something, a decent middleground power and threat-wise for them to occupy in the cosmic hierarchy with a niche not occupied by anyone else in the F4 rogues gallery and one that might de-emphasize the inherent xenophobia, open up different nuanced takes without needing to defang their value as an imperial power (and frankly Ben Grimm should be punching gangsters more often, he'd be the first to agree). That might be too limiting, so if there were a step beyond that, I'd suggest doing more on the weird exploration side, go big on the Skrulls as a species of copycats who can be anything and allow for weird alternate scenarios and themes and topics to be touched on, some of that weird anything-goes experimentation that made so much of F4 fun to read.
Skrull utopias, Skrull dystopias, Skrull societies that revolve around cooking competitions (maybe there are Skrulls morphing themselves into meals). Skrull planets doing shonen fighting tournaments, Skrull corporations dissatisfied with the Super-Skrull so they start splicing superpowers from a bunch of others hoping to strike big with the next great warrior, planets that are moving backwards because everytime their Skrulls get dissatisfied with modernity they take a step back on their timeline as literally as possible, Skrulls play-acting their versions of Marvel story arcs that center them as the heroes, a planet that is just the Skrulls doing their version of the DC universe, a city of rocky orange Skrulls who worship Ben as the greatest warrior in the universe, serious debates in Skrull circles over what is the worst form possible to take, roving bands of Skrull hippies trying to find the next cool thing to transform into and mold their identities around, Skrull beauty pageants, etc. I guess most of these are ideas better served outside of the Skrull framework and there's not much getting around the core make-up of these guys, but idk, if the Skrulls are gonna be a thing forever then they should be something that isn't just an Other existing in service of white savior/xenophobic fantasies. Give them their own Monkey Meat-esque anthology series about the things these weirdos endure and do when they aren't getting into spats with superheroes or space fascists or their warring governments.
Tumblr media
Oh yeah and there's these guys too, I guess. To be honest I don't think I actually even know what's their deal. I know they are distinct enough from the skrulls due to their superpowers and big hammers and imagery, they come in different colors, they take orders from a big weird mostly-evil supercomputer, they have the Accusers as essentially a police force they've used to murder a bunch of planets with, they created the Inhumans by fucking around with cavemen, and their deal a lot of the time seems to be that they are powerful space fascists, and also that they are responsible for Captain Marvel, which doesn't do a lot to dispel the whole space fascist thing. I do think Ronan is okay though. I liked him allright in his FF debut because, given his introduction, given how he spends every line of dialogue in it flabbergasted at the F4 for daring to oppose his authority and resist his judgement and that of his empire and shocked that they won't simply comply and bow and accept death, it made him maybe thee closest you could get to a evenly-matched Fantastic Four vs The Cops story, which I thought was enough reason to justify him and the Kree as an ongoing element. Hickman also does good stuff with him and the Kree in his Fantastic Four and Avengers runs enough that I am broadly okay with them as a thing, along with the whole reocurring cosmic invader bucket they share with the Skrulls and the Shi'ar and whatever. The best one in that alien invader bucket I'd say is Annihilus, but he is his own degree of freak not really comparable to them.
Tumblr media
If I was gonna point to anything between the two that I actually love, not just appreciate but actually really enjoy, it would be the guy in that image speaking the thing on my mind most of the time, Super-Skrull. That is ENTIRELY because he is a very entertaining character in MvC3, not just in terms of his playstyle but his general personality and demeanor, and that was my introduction to him, mostly divorced from the context the Skrulls usually occupy I was very on board with this funny green spaceman with such a cool and busted powerset and such an attitude problem. Charlie Adler does so much for his personality, this hilariously unpleasant egotistical jerk who's spitting and snarling everything he says, jeering and stomping the camera or stomping your opponent after they're down, nobody in the game is quite playing the Heel to the extent Super-Skrull is, and I like that some of his lines and ending emphasize how he's not even really that much of a villain. He is the hero his empire needs, even if he nurtures a rebellious streak, and asks you not to look too much into whenever he breaks character.

Teddy sits up, and looks up at the unmasked hero. He's wearing the same emblem as Karter, so they must be related somehow. Or at least on the same team, though he's pretty sure Karter said he's not really part of a team or something.
"Thanks," he says, taking the hand and getting to his feet. He shakes out his wings then looks down at the remains. "That was getting really messy so the assist was nice."
He smiles and waves at the forming crowd then looks back to the guy.
"Wanna get out of here? Not really a great place to chat and all."

What are your thoughts on Kamala taking lead with the Young Avengers?
In the MCU? I like it -- I feel like her fandom of Carol and the Avengers makes it fit to have her go out and try to create a new superhero team of other young heroes, because she would be the one sitting there thinking about it and going, "The Avengers are gone, but the world still has problems. I can't solve them all on my own/learned teamwork with Monica and Carol/can honor Monica by being a hero/love other nerds who love superheroes," you know?
And especially given Secret Invasion, it wouldn't make any sense to have Fury be the one to put together the Young Avengers. Although the timeline with him is fucky because they switched the release dates of The Marvels and Secret Invasion, so whatever.
And in the comics, Kamala was the leader of the Champions, so it totally makes sense that she'd lead the MCU Champions/Young Avengers crossover team (because they're not going to have both, let's be real. There's also so many fucking movies/shows). Billy and Tommy are currently too young AND have THE most confusing backstory in comics, so putting either of them in charge wouldn't make the most sense. Cassie is on the West Coast. Kate is, as she tells Kamala, a bit older, and also Hawkeyes tend to be pretty solitary workers. Skar is... whatever the fuck is going on there that I'm pretending isn't going on over there. Peter is busy trying to eke out a living on his own in this universe, so he's probably both busy AND too traumatized to make new connections this soon. Eli hasn't made his heroic debut yet, although we've seen him. Yelena's a Thunderbolt. Love Thorsdottir is way too young. Phyla-Vel is in space. Toussaint/T'Challa and Morgan are too young. I feel like Kamala's the only one who COULD do it in a reasonable way, you know?
I feel like I'm forgetting someone. RIRI! Riri could do it, but again, she's older in this universe (college) and my insane "the MCU could make sense if they would do [X]" brain keeps insisting that she's going to be MJ's roommate at MIT in Ironheart or SM4. BECAUSE THEY'RE BOTH AT MIT. AND MIT CAN'T BE *THAT* BIG. IT WOULD MAKE SENSE, MARVEL. PLEASE MAKE SENSE.
I want the Young Avengers to be so good that it knocks me on my ass. I want it to be so good that it knocks Trendy MCU Haters on their asses. And I want Kamala to get to have that. Iman is SO wonderful and Kamala is SO great, and I want people to love her the way she deserves, dammit.
Also, if VisionQuest isn't canceled (which, who the fuck knows) -- I want it to be exactly Vision (2015), which is just exactly WandaVision but this time Vision's the one who created a fake family out of heartbroken madness. And I want Viv Vision in the MCU. I love Viv Vision so fucking much.
Also, I want My Blorbo Nadia! It could happen!!! Hank banged a lady named Linda while Janet was boinking Bill Murray in the Quantum Realm, so Hank could TOTALLY have a daughter that was in the Red Room (WHOM NATASHA AND YELENA FREED??? IN BLACK WIDOW??? MY HEART?!!?) and is a science genius who comes to find the Pym/Van Dynes and is just like, "Hello, I am here now, I love you, family!"
I don't know how they can reasonably have Hulkling after the MCU's version of Secret Invasion AND how the MCU Kree are so unilaterally evil. But also, the MCU is homophobic af so they probably won't have Hulkling anyway. >:(
Just... ::exhale:: There are so many fucking threads open within the MCU thOH MY GOD I FORGOT AMERICA CHAVEZ ALSO THERE ARE SO MANY OPEN THREADS AND I'M TRYING TO TIE THEM TOGETHER ON MY RED STRING BOARD AND THEY WON'T TIE TOGETHER, HOLLIE, THEY WON'T TIE TOGETHER.
I just want. The MCU. To be cohesive. And make sense. And close its plotholes in ways that are narratively satisfying. And also, Steve is on the moon.

M136: The Lost Children's Crusade
Iron Lad
Nathaniel knew there was no escaping his fate: he was cloned from the stock of Earth's greatest geniuses, the unity of the Richards, Vondam, and Stark lineages amongst a dozen others. His purpose was clear and predestined: He would become KANG, tyrant of the All-Future, doomed to repeatedly throw himself against the heroes of Earth's 21st century in hopes to somehow stabilize the rapidly unraveling timeline, resigned to an eternal holding that would eventually, inevitably, fail.
But there were holes in the angled web of timelines, gaps that could be exploited. Maybe, just maybe, he could thread those needles and do some actual good.
He'd just need the right team
Wiccan and Speed
Billy and Tommy were children out of time, spirited away to the past by their mother, the Scarlet Witch, to avoid a future where the conflict between man, mutant and machine reached an apocalyptic crescendo. But their arrival in the past saw them separated, raised by different adoptive families in very different circumstances, feeling each other's absence like a phantom limb.
Tommy came into his mutant powers while Billy came into his magic, inspired by the Avengers who in another time, another place would have been their mother and uncle. Their homecoming would be a messy one.
America Chavez
America was born out of time, in a realm outside of the regular Multiverse known as the Utopian Parallel as created by a being known as the Demiurge. America herself was a Starling, a child empowered by the realm's extradimensional energies, though not before losing her mothers, who sacrificed themselves to stabilize the realm following the Demiurge's disappearance.
When she was old enough, she would seek to give her parents' death meaning by finding the Demiurge and discovering why it abandoned her realm. Instead, all her travels found her was Billy Kaplan.
Hulkling
The Super Skrulls were the champions of the Skrull Empire, meant to engage the Champions of there foes with their own abilities. Dorrek VIII, created with the genetics of the Skrull Imperial family and overlaid with Kree genetics in the hope that the child could house the power of a Kree Binary.
But his creator, royal scientist Anelle, thought differently, spiriting Dorrek away to the planet Earth, which had become a haven for pacifist Skrulls fleeing the empire and its wars, and protected by the Kree turncoat Mar-Vell. The child would grow up thinking he was a mutant, unaware of his heritage, unaware of his purpose, unaware of who he could be. At least until the Kree-Skrull conflict reached Earth.
Patriot
Elijah was the inheritor to a heroic legacy that, officially, didn't exist, and it angered him to no end. The experiments of Camp Cathcart, Isaiah Bradley's action during the Korean War, his decades of imprisonment, all covered up by the government.
He was also, technically, never supposed to have been recruited, with Iron Lad searching for his Uncle. Elijah lied, claiming he had the same enhancements as his grandfather (Falsified by MGH), intent on Avenging his grandfather's reputation.
Stature
Cassie Lang idolized her estranged father, the second Ant-Man, and Scott loved her like the world. So when Scott Lang seemingly died, Cassie was left lost, bereft in the world. So when she found a next generation VDP Particle suit in the lab of Bill Foster, who had become her father's friend, she seized the opportunity to honor him, to be the hero she'd always seen him as.
Hawkeye
Kate Bishop looked up to the Avengers, as a lot of people did, but after escaping a near assault, she realized she needed to take her safety into her own hands, a decision only reinforced following the disassembly of the Avengers.
Finding herself in possession of a similar miraculous aiming ability as Hawkeye, she took the name for herself and took to the streets with gear salvaged from the abandoned Avengers Mansion.

ㅤㅤㅤ“You can wear whatever you like at court, babe.” Teddy replies, his expression warm as he watches Billy lean closer from over the back of the couch, ”— You'll still a white knight in my eyes.”
ㅤㅤㅤIt's a cheesy line, which is pretty standard for Teddy. The Kree-Hybrid long ago figured out that his romantic strengths lie in being earnest and goofy over trying for smooth operator. The former has never failed to get him laid, anyway.

ㅤㅤㅤReaching up with both arms, Theodore takes hold of Billy's biceps where he's propped above him. He lifts the smaller man despite the awkward angle, hauling Wiccan over the back of the couch and across its cushions, so he's half sprawled in Teddy's lap.
ㅤㅤㅤ“Our rings work best as a set…” He says, unexpectedly heartfelt. “I never want to be somewhere that you can't find me...”

ㅤㅤLaughing lightly, Billy tilts his head downward, his dark eyes meeting Teddy's. "Green is a very distracting colour on you." His voice fills with mirth as he speaks. "... I refuse to wear white at court."
