I couldn't seem to nail the angles/scale on Arthur's key for a Lythero UMVC3 video, and got stuck enough on this that remaking it in Blender for reference somehow actually saved time.

I thought I was being clever for this, but it turns out that (of course) people use this approach all the time for everything from backgrounds to character angles. So uh yeah if you're in 2D it's worth it to learn a bit of 3D jsyk ✌️

In Ultimate MVC3, when you swap in Deadpool, there's a chance he'll enter the fight facing the wrong way:

"Ha! Huah! Jab! Jab! Bring it! ...oh, wrong way."

I love Deadpool's characterization in this game. The references in some of his voice lines are great, like telling Spider-Man "I'm gonna rough you up like a Broadway musical!" - anyone remember that Spider-Man musical? Deadpool does.

(Spider-Man's victory quote against him is the appropriately dated reference: "Hey, Mister WIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLL-SON! ...You suck!")
