marta svetek -- voice of gregory, vanny, roxanne wolf in fnaf: sb and its dlc, ruin -- has joined kellen goff in voicing her thoughts on ai reproductions of her voice. again: if you want voice actors to maintain a living wage (and their own mental health), please respect her wishes and ensure that this kind of behaviour is heavily discouraged in the future.
full text of thread below the cut for brevity:
Been getting tagged in all kinds of posts and popular TikToks of people using AI voice clones of my FNAF characters to have them sing or say all kinds of random stuff.
You might think it's fun.
But really it's contributing to the problem all VAs are facing in the wake of AI.
The more these AI voice clones get used, the more they're normalized, and the more businesses see it as a viable alternative to real VAs when making content for you. Slowly but surely, most of your favourite VAs will be out of work.
Not to mention what this will cost in terms of future generations of VAs. Incredible performances we'll never get to experience because most businesses will more often than not go for the cheapest, quickest option as soon as the technology is up to scratch.
This is made even worse by the fact that we currently have very few legal protections against the unauthorized use of our voices using AI. And we're being pressured to waive those too, for a fraction of their worth. This is one of the big reasons the current strikes are a thing.
If you enjoyed my work in FNAF and have any respect for the amount of time and effort VAs put into bringing characters to life, don't use AI voice clones in your fanart. I can't express how violated I feel every time I hear my voice say words that aren't my own.
And just in case it wasn't clear - I have never consented to having my voice, likeness or any of my performances synthesized into AI voices/avatars etc.

Where they like to be kissed 😍
Freddy: Cheek, Hand
He always finds it endearing when you give him a kiss on the cheek before a performance. It’s practically a part of the ritual; a few touch ups and the quick but heartfelt kiss on the kiss, complimented by affirmations. The hand are another region of intimacy, usually during causal times either after a show or a birthday party.
Chica: Nose, Cheek
No surprise that she likes a kiss to the cheek, it’s only fair since she peppers you with her kisses. You kiss one cheek, you have to kiss the other. I mean - she’s got two very kissable cheeks you might as well kiss them both! The nose however, is different from what you thought. She’s built with a button nose so the moment you kissed it before a performance, she giggled like a school girl. (God she’s adorable☺️)
Monty: Neck, Mouth, Hand
Not in that order mind you! As in the previous kiss headcanons, he does genuinely like to neck area. Whether giving or receiving, he just finds it intimate. Too bad you can’t give him marks, you’ll sink your teeth into his wiring and fry something. The mouth is obvious. Before a performance, he’ll just steal one then head out. (He doesn’t want to get distracted 😏) Hands, specifically the back, are a surprise to you. Once when you went to his green room after hearing he had a blowout, you calmed him down on the semi-mutilated couch. A little kiss on the back of his hand as well as some comforting words just cooled him down. (But ran his endo hot afterwards)
Roxanne: Jaw, Forehead, Collarbone
Ok…you two don’t really have a pre-performance ritual. You do however, have a post-performance ritual. Once the show’s over, you give her words of praise, comb her hair (not too much), and give her kisses on the forehead and the collarbone. She relishes in all of it. The jaw is more causal; once all the guests left and just you two, it’s a cuddle session followed by some kisses.
Sun: Cheek, Nose, Forehead
He’s 8ft tall. The only way you can give him kisses is either he kneels or he carries you. (He doesn’t want you standing on the chairs in the daycare.) With that being said, the cheek is a go-to. It’s both quick and intimate. He just loves it! The nose is another one. You’ll only do it when he does something really cute. (Which is almost everytime) Forehead kisses are always followed by praises. He did the laundry? 💋. He cooked for you? 💋. He cleaned the house again?! 💋. He’s such a good boy.
Moon: Hand, Mouth
During nap time, cuddling in the corner would be hand kisses pressed on the back or the palm since the padding on his hands are pretty sensitive. Or if your feeling a little playful, surprising him with a kiss on the lips will conjure a flushed face and maybe a little "revenge" for catching him off guard.
