Hot weather has arrived, and drivers are finding refuge in their air conditioned vehicles.
The A/C on a Hyundai Santa Fe, however, isn’t blowing cold air. We found that there was almost no freon in the system, which indicates a leak.
Dye was added to find the air conditioning leak. The SUV may need to be driven for a little while until it can be located.

A Hyundai Santa Fe needs a new engine and starter.
After removing the starter, we found a hole in the engine block. It looks like something broke inside the engine, creating a hole and locking the motor up.
We would need to perform a more extensive investigation to determine the cause.

This week, we discovered an exhaust leak on a Hyundai Santa Fe.
The leak was coming from the flex pipe. In order for the vehicle to pass the Virginia State Inspection, the problem needed to be addressed.
The bolts that link the flex pipe with the muffler were corroded. Our technician recommended a new muffler and new gaskets that connect the catalytic converter to the flex pipes.
