I don't think he would be transphobic, though. A little confused definitely but not intentionally hateful, so it might take a little time for him to get used to it. As well as him coming to terms that hes attracted to men, given that up until now hes sworn hes straight.. at least in the face of other people

He thinks your clothes are pretty, and sometimes if hes strolling around and sees something you might like he gets it for you. Though he tries to play it off as it not being that big of a deal. Whaaaaaaaat? No he just thought you'd look hot in it, not because you've been on his mind and hes been thinking about you...! Definitely...

If you ever feel insecure about whether or not you'll be percieved as a man by others adam tends to wave those thoughts away. Who cares what people think? They arent a part of your life, and why should their opinion or thoughts on you matter? Sure it's easy for adam to say, especially since he is ADAM.. first man.. why would he feel the need to worry about what others think when hes the original? But still.. he does seem to listen and reaffirm your value and outward perception of you when you need it..

i was gonna wait until i finished the bitd and deadlands line-ups before posting these, but i'm not gonna get those done before the final season starts, so might as well bite the bullet now XD woohoo, oxventure d&d designs! i'll go into further detail below the cut for all of my thoughts on these designs and reasoning for smaller details, but for now, just know that i will never draw a cape. i simply cannot do it. hoods and weird draped fabric or nothing XD

okay i put like. waaay too many thoughts into a lot of these small details so im gonna allow myself to geek out here X3 firstly - though they're way too small to read properly, i did the little symbol eye shines i used in my first art for them! dob gets music notes, prudence gets fire, corazón gets hearts, and merilwen gets flowers. i usually draw egbert's pupils pretty thin to resemble a reptile, so he just gets normal eye shines, but i probably could have given him some here... he would get suns if i thought of that

dob - muscular in a wiry and dehydrated way, lol, hence having a more defined stomach/hips despite not being as strong as prudence or egbert. he has sad/down-turned puppy dog eyes at all times because i think the big-eyed endearing look is fitting for him, though i do make them darker blue than his canonical baby blues because i just... like how dark blue eyes look, lol. i'm pretty sure he canonically has the stomach scar, and obviously his facial scar has always been there, but i gave him a couple other ones just to show that hes pretty reckless. and he gets freckles because even though they arent mentioned in the dragon dogma's video, i noticed luke added some and. i like freckles a lot

prudence - i've said this before, but i love the thought of pru getting muscular after the werebear bite <3 i just think she should be a little bit hench. as a treat. once again, the heavy stomach scarring comes from the dragon dogma's video, because i found their design choices in that really fun. i change prudence's outfit the most out of any of the characters, just because her canonical outfit confuses me. i'm really bad at understanding/drawing fantasy wear as is, but her fit... i'm lost entirely XD so i free-balled a bit. her inner sleeves that hook around her fingers are based on jane's various prudence looks, and then the looser outer sleeve is just because i love prudence with a dramatic sleeve. originally the colors were closer to her canon outfit, but it just looked messy without all the details of the original, and then i tried red like jane's prudence looks but it didn't contrast enough with her skin. so i restricted them to just deep purples and black with pops of gold and dark magenta!

corazón - what can i say besides. transgender. LMAO honestly though, besides adding the top surgery scars, i just really like his canon look. i simplified the details, obviously, but i really love his big coat and his tall boots and the earrings and the black-on-black-on-black of it all. i didn't particularly feel like drawing hats when i was doing this, lol, so i stuck with a red bandana instead. the beads that are strung from it are black, red, purple, green, and yellow to match their guild's canonical color associations/the colored name plates they get in later seasons :] because corazón is the sentimental sort, even when he won't say it. also he gets a little cateye for his eyeliner, i dunno if i've ever said why i do that before haha

egbert - egbert my dearly beloved. literally just his canon look except he has la vache mauve on his tunic instead of fire! and the nose spikes i give him, i guess, but i forget those aren't canon. i actually usually draw him in mike's egbert get up, with the black robes and the golden dragon sigil, but i kinda wanted to move away from that to lean more into the end of legacy of dragons, where egbert fully commits to never going back to the dragon d'or. also i just love drawing little cow heads <3 also! i like the idea that rather than typical scar tissue, dragonborns grow thicker scales over places where they've been injured. so the thicker patches of small scales on egbert's body are meant to be scars! including his kidney scar, lol. the larger scales and the ones on his face were always there though, that's just dragonborn biology baby

merilwen - if i said i based merilwen's body on cartoon bears, would you forgive me... i just think it's cute LOL tummy <3 for the final dragon dogma's video reference, that's where her freckles and tattoos come from. ellen was right, merilwen with floral tattoos fucking rules. who am i to deny it. as a hairy woman myself, i also like making merilwen a hairy woman. she's a hippie, she would NOT shave. i also really love the red earrings she wears in her canon art, so i tried to carry that through to some other small parts of my drawing for her, and landed on the bands she has on her pants as well as the odd feather for her arrows. fun archery fact, for those who may not know - in modern archery at least, you usually will have a differently colored feather (or for my arrows, rubber fins lol) that indicate how youre meant to string the arrow! so i took advantage of that to give merilwen some more red, hehe

He brings her a lot of stuff, mostly paper crayons, toys(dino plushies pls), clothes ofc, stickers. He will kinda love if she draws him or put stickers on his armor. I mean she shoudlnt be in armory and she is banned from going there due to sharp objects but awwwwe cute stickers on his armor

Mostly He is too busy to multi-task (taking care of kid while doing other stuff is difficult) so he just lets kid vibe on his lap or around him overall.

Yautja is very good in learning kid how to deal with emotions (both positive and negative) and overall respect, self defence ect

When kid grows up(teenager) he is doing his best to support her and show empathy (and yautjas arent know for being very emphatic) but please on love of God do not be mean to him he will be heartbroken. As the kid grows he will kinda try to train them with sertain weapons of just simple self-defence. Its not like kid will ever be in danger but its more like dad trying to show his favorite hobbie to his kid in hope that the kid will like it too

Well im Nightdust!! my main fursona is this guy above me, he is called Nightdust Fallen, he is a breed of a husky and a wolf, making him extremely fluffy and puffy! The reason for his name is by the fact that (in my head canon or lore) he came from a bunch of fallen space star dust, hence why he likes space so much and staring at the stars, he also has some sort of ice magic i havent fully fleshed out yet, one thing i can say tho is that when he sneezes, he does it softly and he puffs out small ice snowflakes and can freeze things he touches he is also supposed to wear glasses like me but i suck at drawing those and forgot to include them here anyway so

He is very shy, doesnt talk much but is very protective of his very close friends and would do anything to protect them and make sure they're safe, he is a femboy (of course), enjoys listening to calm relaxing music and high octane electronic music at times, is a gamer, likes cuddling up in bed and i think that's it

It also doubles up as a self description of myself so yeah lol Still tho feel free to send me an ask if you have any questions or anything, with that said onwards to more personal stuff

I enjoy drawing obviously, but i also enjoy cooking stuff and origami, i play a lot of roblox usually to pass time but a game i really got into is "Voices of the Void" i really recommend but it's not for everyone, i like the game's concept and how detailed the space is there. For some reason, a lot of the time i am cold, my hands, feet, nose and limbs overall are very cold which is why i thought about giving my oc some ice magic thing. I am taken, in a relationship with my cutie bunny bf, and my sexuality is bisexual. As said before i do not talk much since im not the social type and usually freeze up or dont know what to say, hence why sometimes i take a long time to respond to something or my response is "dry" or not full of much emotion since i dont really know what to say or feel like im annoying if i talk too much. If you read thru all of that and get here then reply with the word bean so i know you're a true one hehe. I also often wait for others to start the conversation rather than me starting since i again, feel like i would bother the other person or like i could distract them if they are doing something

i am not blaming dan or anything (and obviously this has been a joke in lgbt spaces for forever) but i do think he unintentionally enabled the like "homophobia is a good thing actually" type jokes and like i definitely make them too, and im always seeing jokes on here like "god why are they Like This" etc. but i think some people just dont know the line or view them so much as friends that they don't think about how it could read differently from someone who is essentially a stranger. ive said smth similar before of like, dnp (ESP DAN...) used to be not great at drawing boundaries esp since youtube and social media culture were so different back then, but now even when they draw hard lines ppl either continue to step right over them, or dont understand exactly where the line goes. they dont care if u write smut or dead dove fics, they dont care if u make shippy fanart, but like maybe dont tag them in buttsecks? (or maybe do, idk theyre being so unhinged lately maybe we gotta start @'ing them in catboy porn (JOKING))

i was talking w a friend a little bit ago about the exact differences between the generally speaking philosophies between older fans and younger fans. it seems that older fans embrace creating transformative works and having their own interpretations on who dnp are, whereas younger fans want to know dnp on a personal level and want dnp to know Them and recognize them not just as fans but as people. and OFC there are older phannies who want the parasocial interaction and younger phannies who write fic and people who do neither, and people who do both! (hi :3) but then some people have a difficult time being able to marry the two ideas maybe?

heres the truth. dan and phil are real human beings who have made a career largely off their shared dynamic together, BOTH because they genuinely enjoy creating and being together AND because a lot of people really get invested in it and it makes them more money. they don't mind fic or art, you probably SHOULDNT tag them in the saucy stuff, but they know it's out there and generally have been respectful of fan spaces and knowing where OUR boundaries lie (altho maybe the line was toed w the roblox video but thats debatable.) they really do care about their audience both in order to please us and keep us coming back, AND because they see how much theyve affected us as people and have a deep *Sarapocial Relationship with us.

there are both parasocial AND tranformative ways to break boundaries, and oftentimes they can be one and the same. they aren't our friends they arent our dads and they arent objects with no feelings. they don't stalk our accounts but they are still able to see whatever we post publicly. theyve seen so many horrible things and have had many horrible things happen to them, and while no one can be certain something like that won't happen again, now that they have been able to be more honest with us about a lot of things they are able to trust us a little bit more.

“pfft..” i cover my mouth, trying to not to laugh. 

“i know its not the best.” he looks at my expression. 

“haha! ill be generous and give you 4 points! i like how you drew the eyelashes.” i smile at him and laugh a bit more at the drawing. 

“at least it's better that jinsiks.” he huffs and grabs his paper back. 

“thats true… but i gave him a higher scoree because hes my friend(⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝)”  i giggle, remembering jinsiks drawing. 

junghoon hums and grabs my paper from my hand. 

“lets see yours now.” he look down at the drawing. 

“ah! …wh..what do you think..?” i say surprised.

“huh?? hey you'll chhnge your mid after i explain it to you!!” i quickly say, slightly offended.

“take a closer look.. don’t you notice how happy you two are? and remember the last time we talked on the phone? when i told you your smile wasn't scary.. i put a lot of thought into it.. i tried to make your smile look as good as i believe it is..so, now that you know the deeper meaning, what do you think” i ramble, defending my drawing. 

i look up at him waiting for his reponse and notice he is smiling. 

“hm. i see. ill give it 10 points now.” he gives in . 

“hey 10 points doesn't seem like enough.” i look to side trying to hide my blushing face. 

“then, how about 100 points.” he teases. 

“ugh..”

y/n looks down at her drawing thinking it deserves more. what she doesnt notice is a piece of hair is out of place. junghoon notices and reaces to fic it but stops, hovering his hand over her head. he starts to remember a conversation he overheard between y/n and jiwoon acouple weeks ago.

“UGH I REALLY HATE WHEN MEN PUT THEIR HANDS ON MY HEAD WHENEVER I WANT! ITS SO ANNOYING!!” y/n exclaims with anger. 

“omg who does he think he is?!” jiwoon becaks her up. 

“right?! its not that i'm being dramatic i just think its so creepy when they do that out of no where!” y/n continues. 

“you need to tell him to stop doing that and make it clear that ill hurt him if he does it again!” jiwoon huffs.

junghoon spaces out with his hand still hovering over her. y/n looks up, noticing junghoon didnt answer her before. she sees his hand above her hand and he eyes widen. but suddenly, she stands on her tippy toes so his hand could pat her head. this action catches junghoon by surprise. 

“y/n! aren't you going to turn in your drawing?” a classmate calls out from afar. 

“oh! ill go right now!” she shouts out behind her. 

she turns back to junghoon and smiles. 

“so, you really said you liked my draiwng right? thanks! i have to go now~!ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ” she turns around and catches up to her clasmates. 

‘..huh?’ 

junghoon then brings up his hand to cover his face as he starts to blush profusely.

i have complicated feelings about predation

i think that every time an animal commits an act of predation, harm and suffering have been caused. one conclusion you could draw from that is that predation is bad, except... i don't just consider immediate effects of an action in my ethical model

if i could push a magic button and end all predation today (either by turning all predators into herbivores, making them all disappear, or granting them the ability to spontaneously generate meat in their stomachs), i... wouldn't press it. i do NOT have faith in humanity to successfully control herbivore populations without predator-prey cycles to help us out. i think the net effects would cause more suffering, due to overpopulation. an animal starving to death, on average, sucks more than an animal being eaten.

HOWEVER!!!! this is the part where i diverge from the popular views on either side (the side that says predation is ethically neutral, and the side that says its ethically wrong): i think that predation is necessary for our ecosystem and that we have no method of eliminating it, nor should we -- BUT i think that this is a tragedy of a massive scale. it would be better if the ecosystem did not depend on predation. so in my opinion, predation should be considered a necessary evil, not something ethically neutral.

of course, i myself am a predator, so.. lol. i mean, i'm vegetarian -- go me! -- but I'm lazy, so I eat parmesan cheese (made from cow tummy) and marshmallows (made from pig bones), etc, AND FURTHERMORE as i just implied, i eat milk and cheese, which i think are often products of animal torture

WHY do I not eliminate these items from my diet? Because I believe that the world has an absurdly high amount of immorality happening constantly, and i pick my battles. in terms of my consumption habits, i've chosen to avoid meat, and recently, to join the boycott divest sanction movement on israel. a little is better than nothing. this is also why i dont look down on people who arent vegetarian - we all choose our battles. theyve chosen different ones. i judge them based on what those are. a human meat-eater who works in any sort of conservationism is doing more for animals than me, a vegetarian. a press reporter who drinks all kinds of starbucks but risked their life to document the genocide in palestine has done orders of magnitude more for them than me, someone who boycotts starbucks.

This past Saturday when two long time friends of mine who mean the world to me got married to each other. They looked so so happy and gorgeous and Im crying now thinking about it.

AHAHAHAHA No. No i should not be a parent no. Don't get me wrong. Kids are brillaint. Kids are incredible gremlins. I shouldn't be a parent. Not with this mental health cocktail. No way.

04 - What sports do you play/have you played?

I'm a long time dancer. Been dancing since I was 6 and unironically had ballet this evening.

No, never lol (yes)

Vibe check. Literally. How do people hold themselves? What air do they have about them? Are they neurodivergent and if so I will usually clock what genre within minutes. Are they queer? Are they kind or are they nice? What kinds of immediate warning flags are there?

Im aware its the hypervigilence but I cant help it lol.

¿Por qué no las dos? And why are they considered mutually exclusive? They deffo arent and some of my favorite horror films have happy endings.

I dont believe in talents. All skills are earned even if we have predispositions to certain types.

Philosophy aside, eh? I guess???? Language learning probably. I can pick up on the phonotactics of a language really quickly even if I don't actually know the language itself.

my biggest tip (kind of general. but yeah) is to not let yourself get to the point of absolutely hating drawing. sometimes i won’t be able to figure out how to draw something and genuinely get so upset that i have to walk away for a while, and that’s okay! after i calm down (and maybe have a snack LOL), i go back to it. sometimes i even restart my sketch entirely if i think it’s beyond saving, and usually the next attempt comes out good :)

you’ve heard this a million times before, i’m sure, but references references references. they were Not lying when they said you should use references. i use them all the time even now. a big thing that helped me was sketching over top of a picture of someone doing whatever pose i want to draw, breaking it down into shapes, and doing a second sketch on top of that one of the actual anatomy. if you’re interested i have quite a few references on this Pinterest board of mine!

adding onto above, the “simple shapes” in question are typically a very very simply shaped skeleton. like this fellow!

(sorry the image is fucking massive idk why it does that) also good to note that typically, your elbows should meet your waist, and your hands should meet your mid-thigh, but don’t be afraid to play with that a bit 🙏

i was stubborn and didn’t do this for YEARS and years but flipping your canvas is actually so so helpful… sometimes i flip my canvas and suddenly i notice that my character is doing that fuckass micheal jackson pose and im like why are you literally italic

i have started to not think too hard about it when im drawing hands and my life has been bliss. idk how else to explain this one… might just be from drawing hands so many times. but yeah. i do Not do that whole finger segment thing anymore i just don’t have the brainpower to make it work personally

as for hair just remember how you want it to be shaped mostly. idk. i love drawing hair so it’s just muscle memory at this point for me 😭🙏

faces… i don’t know i just don’t use that many lines. enough to convey the expression you want, i suppose. but that could just be a stylistic thing!

SKULLS ARENT CIRCULAR… they’re more like ovals. this tip saved my life when it came to drawing side profiles

ALSO ALSO IF YOU WANTyour character to look more up or more down their ear should like. be above their actual face for looking down and below the face if they’re looking up. like this

all i did here was move her face (+bangs) down or up depending on which way his head was facing!!

in conclusion please remember im literally just some teen who likes to draw i haven’t even taken any professional classes so take this all with a grain of salt… i am seriously not lying when i say my process is fuck around and find out LOL but i hope this helps!!!
