❛ can we just have one more kiss. ❜ (Danielle/Logan)
A dark chuckle escaped his lips. “Can’t get enough of me, hmm?” Logan couldn’t resist teasing. He was deflecting, as usual. Or maybe he really was that arrogant. Either way, he knew damn well that he certainly could not get enough of her. The truth was, Logan would kiss Danielle any and every time she wanted him to, until the end of days. It had already happened before, after all. In a perfect world, maybe he would have gladly accepted it. But this was not a perfect world and despite what may have happened before, he was still a man of morals. Even if said morals turned to be questionable from time to time, usually when Danielle was concerned. Matters of the heart were a truly complicated manner. He’d always thought the saying, ‘Right person, wrong time’ was a load of bullshit, an excuse. But boy, he could not be more wrong if he tried. He let his resolve crumble once. Once was a mistake; twice, however, was deliberate.
However, Logan would hardly call the first time a mistake. The only reason it could be was simply due to the situation. He was unavailable. Natalie was a lovely woman, and he was making every attempt to make it work; he couldn’t bear to hurt her. Sure, their blossoming relationship was still in its early stages but that didn’t mean it was okay to fool around with someone else. That’s not the sort of man he was. And if some man dared to try that on any one of his younger sisters, he would kill them. He should be setting an example. But as usual, all thoughts of logical were chucked out of the window wherever Danielle was concerned. But where did this leave them, exactly? How did she feel about Logan? Did she even have feelings towards him or was this an experiment? To see how far he could be pushed before deciding in the end that she didn’t want him. Because if he could straddle the line between her and someone else, who's to say he wouldn't do the same to her in the end? He would never subject her to such pain, but he wasn't foolish—well, mostly. He understood how easily these actions could be misconstrued.
One more kiss. The words hung in the air, heavy with finality. It felt like a goodbye, absurd as that seemed. Did it have to be this way? Surely, she knew the depths of his feelings for her... He had professed them enough times, humiliating himself in the process. Initially passing it off as a joke when he faced rejection. Then awkwardly stumbling through his words, her struggling to find the right response when there was none. But still, if she wanted anything, if she wanted him in any capacity, he would willingly oblige without hesitation.
But first…
A small hint of a smirk tugged at the corners of his lips as he drew a deep breath and closed the distance between them. Logan regarded her with reverence, drinking in every detail of her face. "Okay," he murmured, his voice barely audible. Carefully tucking strands of her hair behind her ear, he relished the moment, savouring it like the fleeting taste of forbidden fruit. Could she hear the pounding of his heart, the thunderous anticipation echoing in his chest? Logan inched closer, his lips hovering tantalizingly close to hers, but then he hesitated. It was a tease, his own twisted way of provoking her, silently daring her to bridge the gap.
And then, at the last possible second, he moved upward, bypassing her lips and pressed his mouth gently against her forehead. Lower, he trailed kisses to her cheeks, one and then the other. His heart pounded like a drum against his ribcage with each tender touch. Lingering beneath her earlobe, he pressed his lips to the curve of her neck. Logan paused, his breath a ghostly caress on her skin. "But first, tell me this," he murmured with a low, unsteady voice, struggling to rein in his own rapid breaths. His tongue darted out, briefly licking his lips in a fervent mix of anticipation, desire and (dare he say) nerves for what lay ahead. "What is it that you truly want?"

I dont get why is so hard for some ppl to understand why Crocodile and Mihawk are angry, they aren't mad about the ship like yeah the ship looks ridiculous to them but is more about how they think Buggy keeps disrespecting them even if he didnt do that on purpose (is just his subordinates that loves him so much) idk if ppl forget that while Buggy is the leader in the public eyes the reality is that Mihawk and Crocodile are the real leaders, Crocodile himself had the idea to make the organization, was the one that recruited Mihawk, the one that went after Buggy and Buggy said he will work till the bones for free so he could pay his debt, he also was the one with the idea of putting the bounties in the Marines head and the whole Utopia stuff and then when he was explaining his plan to Mihawk Buggy just announces that he wants to be Pirate king.... Changing their whole plans and acting like they were his subordinates irl.
Mihawk whole reason why he let Buggy live was bc he wanted a peaceful life but now he needs to participate in the race for the OP for something he never cares about (that is why he told Buggy "do you wants us to fight Shanks, BB and Luffy?")
Crocodile and Mihawk had other plans overall and they never signed up for the OP (even if Crocodile wanted that in the past clearly is not the same now) and they must feel disrespected that Buggy wanted the change those plans to go after his dream and use them to achieve it when they don't even consider him his captain and he is suppose to be a subordinate and when according to Crocodile he doesn't even have a plan (even if he knows when some of the ponelyghts are he still needs: someone to read them, more crew members and find the location of the last ponelyght so let's see what they do👀).
Anyways this was longer than I thought 😭 I love Buggy and I love Cross guild, I just wanted to explain Mihawks and Crocodile pov and why they were so mad with Buggy all this time, I can't wait for another Cross Guild chapter, I wanna see their plan and their next move, I believe Buggy will get laughtale.
People just don't know how to read sometimes, but it is pretty clear that they're upset because Buggy is... Well... Buggy. We love him. Adore him. But sometimes he's a bit too impulsive and a bit too confident when he shouldn't be (he should. He just chooses the worst fucking moments to be). He's paying a debt, after all, and both Crocodile and Mihawk hate being disrespected this way. Mostly Crocodile. So of course they're going to be angry if Buggy starts acting like their boss, when in their perspective he's just a useless clown.
The whole thing about this dynamic is how Crocodile and Mihawk are both focused on the business only and have lost sight (or simply don't care) about what it means to be a pirate (it doesn't necessarily mean going for the OP but it is true that the OP thing is right now the main pirate inspiration because it sums up all the qualities of one). Buggy is more of a pirate than these two together for following his dream (finally) but that doesn't mean they have to accept that right away because at the end of the Buggy is the subordinate in this deal they've got going on. It's just a matter of time before they actually start seeing him as an equal (or treating him decently) but right now it is very understandable why they hate his guts.

not to be always talking about dana but one of the difficulties i find with trying to speak on her is the fact that a lot of the interesting dimensions you can read into her relate solely to depth that she offers miguel, as an extension of conflict for him.
like there is something really interesting to be read in the fact that as a couple they were most happy with one another in their mutual self centeredness (even if regret lingered at the edges re gabriel), that the distance between them isn't only exacerbated by miguel moonlighting as spiderman, but by the fact they're gradually becoming very different people with very different values and perspectives on the world, and their relationship begins to break and strain from that. but that still speaks more to dana's connection with miguel, moreso than herself.
there is something really interesting to be read in a person simultaneously swayed by promises of power and favour, but who also purports to shy away from active confrontation and her own accountability in those conflicts (and we SEE repeated evidence of this), and exploring how these two traits would come into conflict w one another. but these traits surface more from the writing moving dana around to whatever emotional position best offers conflict for miguel, than it does trying to paint a picture of a deeply flawed woman.
she never has to be a quote unquote "good" person to be an interesting character, but god. would it have been far more compelling to have just offered an cohesive insight into the way she operates and justifies her behaviour to herself.
