one of the several reasons i have always found esfp jimin unlikely is his dancing style. hoseok and jungkook both have very spatially aware, fluid, outside-looking-in styles which is characteristic of Se-based movement, whereas jimin is all about control & using his muscles in the most precise way he can. he dances like someone with the classical training he has, but takes the characteristically Si-ish nature of ballet & contemporary and other classical styles even further. compared to hobi & jk he’s extremely “in his body” when he dances, rather than using the outside to orient himself like they do. plus all of the other rlly obvious Si behaviors he has like strong reactions to textures/flavors in food (his nemesis the mango, or sea food, ect) & his extremely classic inferior Si retreating to what’s familiar to him when facing committed change and frequent sentimentality. it all just screams overdeveloped lower Si

i really want to read an actual article about the *textual* queer rep in the yakuza series, because it's definitely there, definitely separate from the homoerotic and homoromantic subtext between a lot of the main characters, and hard to parse as an american. is ryo meant to be gay? is this a weird freudian joke that would have been entirely serious in, say, midcentury america? is it the translators seizing on a more ambiguous (or overt!) japanese line?
