I Imagine you intended this for Lazarus, But! you were not specific so you will now get a Very long post about Everyone >:3c (and by everyone I mean the main 3 characters I consider 'Bartholomew's Nasty Little Bastards')

First up, of course, we will do Lazarus! 1. What inspired you to create your oc?

The really obvious answer here is Re8, my instant consuming love for it and for Karl, the overwhelming need to like... Participate, somehow, in that world, but not being able to cross the Full self-insert hurdle.. He's basically a very Warped-beyond-recognition version of a self-insert, a guy all his own but in somewhere still very Connected to the Me. But the more like.. in depth stuff, like what inspired Lazarus to Be Who He Is is like.. I love like.. weird Art Gore, Body-As-Art kinda shit, Meaningful and disturbing.. somehow Comforting and he's kinda the perfect vessel for that. I've had the Human Taxidermy Artist thing floating around the back of my mind for a decade or so just Waiting for a place to land and Laz was a golden opportunity v-v.

2.Why does your oc look the way they do? What are your reasons for their appearance? When I was settling Lazarus's design I wanted him to have this appearance of like, a very refined and elegant individual; beautiful in a sort of Severe way, but twist it up ever so slightly so he registers as Uncanny and Gross. Beauty Hiding Filth and all that. (just think about how many Fluids get into that Velvet Ensemble on the daily, it's Not Good.) Like the way his pants cut him and the vertical lines make him just All Leg. And his pallid bloodstained skin which makes him look like a Walking Corpse, hair slicked back with its own grease.. a figure that's bewitching and unsettling to witness also yes, the hair is Both a Me thing and a Bride of Frankenstein thing.

Virgil always feels right coming Second on these things.. 1. Inspiration Virgil is ooooooooooold, he's so Old, virgil is Ancient Virgil is possibly my oldest still-in-use OC, I created him a Looooooong ass time ago. like 2010 Long Ass Time. That is to say I do not know Why she exists.

Okay, Not entirely true. I made her for a comic I was writing with my friend at the time. She was my part of the main villain pair, but I do Not remember how I ended up on Toxicologist prodigy but make it Cowboy (which was always a bit of a misnomer for the vibe but nowadays Especially he's less Johnny Cash more Nickleback) I Think, I Think, what I wanted was to have a character that contrasted the Hardest against my friends main villain? who was very Orderly and Serious and Efficient?? beats me though that was So long ago.. I was also just listening to a Lot of Nickleback-esk music at the time, which may have been an influencing factor lmao

2. Appearance Virgil's appearance is pretty simple to explain, all told! He's a Country Boy/Girl, rowdy and ostentatious, and very secure in her understanding of that part of herself. It's where she comes from, and despite his rocky relationship with home it's who he is, y'know? The brightest (and most dangerous) mind in Toxicology doesn't Have to look exactly how you'd Expect her to look now does she? (Virgil pictured here on the Right)

Now our wonderful little Ulysses vwv)/ 1. Inspiration oh this is an Interesting one!! Ulysses (and Charlie, for that matter) came from 2 distinct places to land where they are now.. From time to time I like to entertain the idea of starting a band and having a musical career of some kind, something that blends my love of folk/bluegrass, prog-rock, and power metal into a loud villainous and exhilarating sound. and a few years back, as I was getting into Bluegrass for the first time, I was struck by a Concept for a Concept Album. It was called The Book of Brother UIysses; the story of a sniveling little priest in the frontier days and his Cursed Book, following him around as he fed townsfolk to whatever entity lived in its pages until he was finally Consumed himself. I toyed with it for a bit and eventually put it back on the shelf until the Musical Fancy struck me once more, untiiiiil I was listening to friends at the table: sangfielle and had both a deep desire to do a Horror-Fantasy Western ttrpg And satisfy my ever-present desire to weasel my way into playing two characters at once.. and I pulled ol' Ulysses off the shelf again and made some.. Additions. This has evolved now into them being just like.. free floating OC's? I don't plan on making a comic out of them, I would Still love an opportunity to play them in a TTRPG setting, but I'm not Banking on it, and hey, who knows, maybe I Will make that album someday, but for now they just kinda amorphously Exist within Something resembling a Narrative in my head after a long and complicated journey...

2. Appearance Similar to Lazarus, I wanted Ulysses to be unsettling, but in a Slightly different way. He's too clean- his all black outfit is never grimy, he is clean shaven his hair perfectly quaffed, with that plastered on grin, under eyes obscured by reflective glasses the vibes are just Immediately Off. To the flip side of that I always wanted him to look kinda.. pathetic. When we see him outside of his Persona as The Keeper of the Book, as just a man that is still Human in many ways; he's just.. small, waifish, behind the glasses his eyes are big and jittery, like a pray animal caught in a snare and still trying to fight its way out..

Well they are all so handsome, so it is hard to pick just one... I would love to have a head-to-head with Alphamon. Two leaders in their natural element. It would be rather fun to see who comes out on top...

Apollomon: Hmm... It's tough to say. That Magnamon is very cute. So is that UlforceVeedramon. Duftmon would be a nice challenge also.

Venusmon: Well, there is one rather obvious one, but that ship has sailed, though I did have fun cracking the champagne across the bow before it did... Though, for one night of fun, I might say Gankoomon. I do wonder what kissing that mustache of his feels like.

KaiserGreymon: ...Nobody told me we'd be asked these types of questions when I agreed to this. v////v; ...Right! Who dares, wins! Which Royal Knight would I want to bed? Hahah, well, it's a little awkward since we're friends with them, but I'm sure they won't mind! vwo Dukemon's pretty handsome, and I bet he knows how to have a good time.

Any reasonable bot would know when to back down, but you make it so hard. Not only are you special and kind, you're protective over the kids and bots also. Bumblebee is also protective over you and Rafael, but you are different.

He wants you all for himself, he wants to talk to you and tell you exactly how he feels but sadly his peeping makes no sense to you. So he starts sending you notes that declare his love for you. He made them with letters cut from newspapers so you wouldn't recognize his handwriting.

At first, he left them anonymously, as a 'Secret Admirer' and he was going to leave you one with his name after the first ten notes or so, but before he could come out to you, you came to Autobot base, crying how you had a stalker.

Bee happened to be the only one at the base back then and you jumped into his arms, crying how he made you feel safe with him.

Bee almost burst in joy. He finally had you in his arms and all it took were some anonymous love letters. It's a matter of time when Team Prime might look into the letters, but you still clung to Bumblebee because he was there when others weren't.

And that's all Bee really wanted.

Sayaka gets like a lighter violet background with gold and white stars smattered around them, more concentrated in some areas than others, and it’s generally very pretty 🥺

chihiro’s are a different solid pastel color on each finger!!! it’s very kidcore and fun and they love it so muchhhh!!!

leon gets a little self-conscious when it’s his turn because his nails are highkey disgusting from all the time he spends playing baseball - there’s dirt trapped under them and everything so he’s just like hhhhhhh anxiety go brrrr but anyway he gets solid black because he’s edgy and cool like that 😎

I think Taka gets a French manicure with little dark red flowers pressed towards the tips because!!! simple yet pretty!!!

Celeste probably takes the longest because her request is sooooo complicated like it’s black and red and long ass acrylics with overlapping patterns and everyone else just kinda sits there feeling h o r r i b l e for that poor nail stylist

Toko gets a checkerboard pattern, with each nail having a different neon color in place of white!!! Because she knows that Jill will find it cool and pretty and colorful the next time she fronts (visual stimming jill?? 👀)

Togami just picks whatever will get him out of the chair quickest hdbsvdvdvdbdbdb

anyway Makoto????? rainbow loom????? absolutely

he has so many bracelets!!!!! so many so many so many and he knows how to create such a wide variety of styles it’s so cool!!!!!! he wears a bunch of them at any given time because they are so fun to fidget with!!!! and rubber texture hvvvvhvv!!!!

and he creates personalized ones for his friends, too, like he knows their favorite colors and sometimes picks up on whether they prefer a certain style or not from the way they react to the other ones he’s made and it’s!!! just so neat!!!!!

I’m thinking about it and!!! he has a bi pride fishtail, a trans pride arrow stitch, a black and neon green railroad, a pastel pink/blue/purple/yellow ladder, a jelly yellow and green dragon scale, a rainbow double cross, and a bunch more!!! he also has a bunch with charms and beads added into them!!!!

He also makes them for his friends even if he knows they won’t wear them!! Like Toko, for example, isn’t the biggest fan of jewelry because she doesn’t like the texture, but he creates one for her anyway and fills it with so much love (it looks like a daisy chain!!!! because at least she’ll be able to look at it and hold it and still be interested in it without it needing to be on her wrist!!!)

he makes a ton of bright colored ones for Mukuro (usually either single or inverted fishtail because he knows she wouldn’t enjoy wearing anything too heavy or overbearing) so that she has more mobile visual stims!!!

🎭 How do you feel about comedy in RP? Do you have a particular genre of comedy in RP you prefer more?

Comedy in RP is GREAT. When we can just joke around about whatever is always fun. I am an avid fan of puns and dad jokes. Just generally bad comedy that is hilariously good! I used to run a 'Punday' on this blog where a few of my goofy muses would just post with bad Puns. The worst culprit being Alastor the Radio Demon. He loves him some puns :)

💭 What does your creative process look like when creating a character?

Oh gosh...Ok it's sort of all over the place? Like, I have an idea of something I want to do. Say Trigun, since that's a hyperfocus, if I want to put an OC into that verse I first consider what sort of person they'd be in this world. I know a few no-no's in the community, but I do tend to toe that line with my ideas...Like Independents. I think, if written well, there could be a chance for others -- Ahh that's off topic though.

Basically I look at the world I want to throw them into and proceed from there. I ask myself what kind of muse would be fun to play in this setting? What kind of feeling do I want to give off? Should they be goofy or do I want a bitter asshole? It's a series of questions that I just check off in answering. It's the same for world building too, as I do a lot of DnD and have designed my own campaigns/world's. It's funny because a friend was joking about wanting to do a campaign and my brain just took that snippet of convo and ran off with it. Within hours I had already drawn out a map and decided what sort of cities would exist in the world, how magic would work...

I honestly have a world of muses in my own head too with more that just kind of...appear? I think it has a lot to do with my ADHD, but world building and character creation has always come easy to me. Sorry, not sure if this answered your question or was just me rambling.

⚠️ Are you cautious about who you RP with or do you just dive right in and see where it takes you?

I can be. I think it depends what sort of feeling I get from someone's blog? Or just a general feeling someone gives off in OOC when chatting. Some people seem super easy to approach so I fling my nervous ass at them. Others?

There are some people who are Selective that I'd love to interact with, but I haven't even followed them because I don't feel I would be good enough. And that's not to say that they aren't nice people or wouldn't accept me, I just have my own pre-conceived notions about my blog that I think it scares people away? Being a chaotic multi-muse blog like this means it's not for everyone. My energy can be all over the place too. It just doesn't jive with everyone.

But if you ever wanna try poking me? Just feel free to shoot me a message or send a prompt. I reblog so many to try and encourage people who have followed by haven't poked to come say hi! They're good ice breakers.

As is true every year this year the New Thing in my Place of Residence is all the Art I acquired, bringing me up to 183 pieces On Display in my leeeeetle apartment vwv)/ I really do love being surrounded by art in my home and I'm always looking to add to the collection (all new stuff circled in yellow, if there's no yellow then they're all new)

( I Do have the sources for all of these hanging around, got and kept all the business cards at TCAF and I got all my receipts from my online orders.. I do not have the time to collect them tonight but I Will come back to it or will hunt them down if anything strikes anyone's fancy ) As for what I'd want to do Again? ah.. going back to TCAF I guess?? hmmm, I don't think any of it would be a guilty pleasure, but I'm a sucker for getting into character's heads and their motivations, as well as simply meandering in my descriptions of things kjsdhfsjkhf

K: What’s the angstiest idea you’ve ever come up with?

Gosh this is hard. I feel like all my angst stops becoming angst to me because it tends to resolve itself one way or another, but I defo have had many methinks. Dylan waking up and opting to leave NYC and the Bureau and losing contact with Jesse because it's far too awkward and there's too much baggage they aren't addressing but he wants to see her and go back to his sister but he can't face the fallout that would ensue might count as one.

Maybe wanting to write Jesse receiving his hidden hotline call from the files? Her trying to answer him even though he can't hear her, trying to will her voice to be heard, to reach through the phone lines and help him and pluck him to safety, completely helpless in her office until she sprints recklessly to his room in executive to find him unchanged, sleeping.

As far as what I've written, my friend just said that my fic where Agent 47 buries Lucas Grey is the angstiest.

U: Share three of your favourite fic writers and why you like them so much.

OH MAN so many of my friends are excellent fic writers and there's no way I could pick only three of them, so I'm going to specifically highlight some fic writers I do not know just based on my bookmarks:

- OldEmeraldEye has written some wonderful short-form Control fic on AO3-- I love their style and how they encapsulate the world of Control so well, picking perfect snapshot moments to put in a bottle. Very good stuff!

- schweinsty has a fic series I haven't finished yet called the poet-verse about Bodhi Rook and crew from Rogue One that I'm very fond of. It feels incredibly lived in and real, every little character and culture piece they include, and I'm very fond of what I've read there.

- and time for my deepest most random pull: Scratch and Dent by gamerfic is one of my favorite fics of all time, as it features one of my favorite star wars characters of all time, who got about a total of one minute of screentime eskjfhskefh

It's just. Wonderful. All the way around. The Star Wars-y novel feel, the characterization, the Death Gang, the banter, the near bureaucracy of gang business. mwah. 10/10
