Thinking about Billy especially hard right now. Like, I need him to just lay on top of me in the most intimate, cuddly, non-sexual way. My own personal weighted blanket to ground me and make it feel like everything’s gonna be alright.

you get home. you shower. you put your pajamas on, and your hands are a little shaky. everything’s a little shaky if you’re being honest with yourself. today was a hard day. it seems like they’ve all been hard lately. and billy knows. he saw the way you set down your bag when you came in the door, saw you squeeze your eyes shut to keep from crying when he kissed your cheek, lips warm and soft in contrast to the stubble covering his chin.

when you step into your bedroom, billy reaches out for you, rubbing your arm while he shuts the door behind you. he pushes a chunk of damp hair behind your ear. “lay down,” he says. you do as you’re told. when you’re settled on your back, he crawls up the bed to you in a way that makes you go warm with affection for him. he taps your thigh and you spread your legs apart so that he can fit between them.

ultimately, billy buries his face in your neck, making sure you can feel his breath on your skin. he knows you like that. his chest is pressed to your stomach. sure, he’s heavy on top of you like this. but you don’t care. he knows it’s exactly what you need. he works his arms underneath your back, entwines his legs with yours. he’s warm enough that you don’t need a blanket. the way he’s laying on you, it’s like he’s a shield. like he’s covering the entirety of your body to prevent the world from getting you. that’s his entire mission.

“you’re okay,” he says. “i’ve got you. i’m right here.” and he’ll repeat it. he could go to sleep, but he’ll stay awake until you’re out. you look so peaceful like that. a hand under the waistband of his shorts, the other losing its grip on the back of his neck. and it’s true. you are okay. and you are going to be okay.

Before posting the first part I didn't realize people had such strong opinions on how this would play out lmaooo

imo, of course Zoro wants to fight Sanji, not with actual intent to harm (they threaten each other on the daily, come on), but because that's how they are together, how they communicate. He respects Luffy's decisions and their goal here, which is to learn what's really going on with Sanji, but he's gonna be pissy about it all he wants. They both have so many intense and conflicted feelings about this and neither has any idea how to resolve them. So they fight.
