not fandom salt really but. hmmm
truly a weird and uncomfortable feeling to see the username of someone from fandom who 1) has you blocked, but also 2) you are 95% certain has sent you anon hate in the past after blocking you, turning up on your dash all the time because their addenda to various popular posts keep getting reblogged by my pals. or the pals of pals.
like. the most i can do is add their username to my filters, but i still see the whole “this post contains [x]” anytime someone reblogs a post with their username in it. just, you know, a little daily reminder of an unpleasant thing.

I enter the fandom crossover tag. One is a mid-2000s kids cartoon that has slowly been replaced with fanon due to cool ideas but less than great writing, the other is a Comics/Cartoon/TV show/game/movies with over 70 years of history with various writers, and ever-changing canon, making it impossible to know every single little thing.
There is an interesting writing prompt for the crossover with a good amount of notes, indicating that other people liked this prompt and have written for it and/or recommended fics with similar ideas.
I enter the notes.
WHOOPS the first one I see is someone complaining about the prompt because either
1.) they don't like the core idea of the prompt
2.) The core idea for the prompt doesn't exist in canon
3.) One persons addition later in a large reblog chain doesn't align with canon
About half of the notes are some guy on a soapbox yelling about how this prompt is stupid and bad and people replying to tell them off for soapboxing on a writing prompt
Conclusion: I am begging people to learn Tumblr etiquette and scroll pass shit they don't like PLEASE

His girlfriend and mom's deaths has pushed Noo-Noo to a point where he can either clench his jaw and bear it or blame anyone he deems responsible.
Lucky killing his loved ones to force him to have no other path but working for the Government? Obviously hates him for that, normal thing to hate your father for.
Hating Guardian because Lucky trained him to be the appointed Guardian of the four even though Guardian didn't choose this watching people life? ...Not very reasonable.
You probably wouldn't be comfortable knowing someone was watching your kid's every move and noting it down in computer records as if he's an animal.
I get why Noo-Noo hates him but you can't put all the blame on Guardian.
Guardian: *trying to leave in the regretful ending because he doesn't want to be a mindless slave*
Noo-Noo: I was planning on maiming you anyway but this is a marvelous opportunity, toss him in Po.

maybe a discourse-y thought but i rlly think we shouldn't rally for the deleting artwork with offensive flaws made by artists who don't know better and instead encourage them to make improvements in future work.
fixing a skin tone or hair texture in one drawing is good but it doesn't really matter if the artist is never gonna draw that character again. making ur art less whitewashy = part of the growing process.

Mr badguy have you listened to all the drama cds? Do you know where I can find japanese transcripts of them?
I haven't...... Keep meaning to but... distractions.....
Unfortunately whatever Japanese transcripts Ed Chang and Blade compiled for their translations 20 years ago seem to be lost to time. Though recently a partial transcription of Volume 1 of the GGX Drama CD was found: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1N4dxQYHI0urwQqJZQ1jjvBu-fbNNda-S/view?usp=sharing
I've been trying to get my hands on full transcripts of the Drama CDs for a while now because my Japanese audio skills aren't good enough to make them myself so if any more pop up I'll definitely make a post about it.

Every fucking time I get up a little motivation to be like "I should catch up on some of the current comic titles I've fallen behind on, if only because the longer I wait the more there is to catch up on" I see YET ANOTHER shit-stupid thing they're doing that makes me want to eat glass and I just. Can't.

Some more nice knitwear on May in this episode of Monarch Legacy of Monsters.
You can also see a lot about the kind of person May is - that she was so impatient to do work she thought was more special and important than whatever Toby from Candy Crush was doing, that she did something drastic from understandable moral outrage, but she didn't make a real plan to protect herself or get away clean, so that it seemed to take her by surprise and make her panic when she started getting freaked-out work texts during the birthday party.
Also I would like to know: How are Kentaro and Cate not dead of jet lag on top of running-for-their-lives exhaustion at this point? I'm sure those first class pods are good but are they that good?
