Been listening to this playlist today and some of these songs have me so weak.

I can imagine Daniel taking Lando on a road trip in Australia during the winter break. Lando would be staring at the window non stop, pointing at everything and screaming stop Ebenezer they drove past a fast food restaurant. If Lando didn't get to chose the music there would be drama! It would be all worth it though for Daniel who got to see an excited bub.

i have literally stared at this for ages and came back to it after days until finally realizing “Ebenezer” must’ve been autocorrected from “every time” and it gave me a good laugh, i was v confused prior to that discovery. in fact i’m hoping that’s what that’s supposed to be bc if it’s not than i’m still v confused.

but yes!!! literally answered something 7 seconds ago where i’m like “i need to stop wanting to write 4 chapters at once” but i’ve been dyiiiinnggg to write a roadtrip-y chapter. even prior to ROC i toyed with a Smick chapter and possibly Charles or another Maxiel/Carlando for the chaos or something Mick/Max because you guys loved the little mini fic(s) on them.

anywho, yes to a Dando Australia road trip. hard no at Lando picking the music tho, Lando might be a part time DJ but Daniel definitely has the aux in the car, and Lando can pout all he wants.

Daniel’s so proud of Australia and Lando’s just so easily entertained, so nice to be around when you want to show something off because he listens, especially when it’s Daniel speaking. they’re stopping at all the look out spots where Daniel tells him stories about the how and where they are and he holds Lando’s hand tight when they peak down into the cliffs.

Lando’s definitely begging for all the roadside snacks, and who is Daniel to deny him? It’s off-season anyway. He gets them KFC fries and buys him the hokey-pokey ice cream from dodgy gas station, solely for the smile he gets. 🫶🏻
