It's too late for me gang I'm already writing fan episodes in my head about malik having a vague mostly-for-jokes potential romance with miho in s0

#accessoryshipping #i can see the “next episode on yugioh” trailer so vividly in my head #“a foreign new student arrives in domino high and miho has started acting suspicious” and its like three shots that spoil the brainwashing #in dm this plot line would be stretched out for six episodes of everyone being stupid #but i think in s0 honda would mention it the second it happened and the literal next scene would be everyone ganging up to kick maliks ass #and then he'd unbrainwash her for a second and make her think everyone was just attacking him for no reason #then that type of thing would go on for the rest of the episode bc the gang doesn't actually know hes brianwashing her #like they still think he might be innocent until the end of the episode when yami finally calls him out he gets shadow game'd #but even then its only yami who knows for 100% sure and he's not in the actual gang yet #so “namu” gets plausible deniability for another four or five episodes (of which he appears in two)#i got off topic. anyway he would use miho as his main vessel the whole time #and barely needs to improve his acting bc she hypes him up big time even when shes fully in control #in my ideal world shed catch on to the brianwashing really fast but go along with it thinking she can use it to her advantage somehow #which would capture maliks attention to her being an interesting pawn outside of her use as a vessel + kickstart their friendship arc #she could make him calm tf down i think. he pretends to be her friend for so long he accidentally gets attatched fr #for once i am happy i put this in the tags and not the post tf am i talking about

best New Year's Eve in forever cos my sister and I fucking FINALLY started watching Interview with the Vampire

#interview with the vampire #it's literally the only show I've actually wanted to start lately and it still took me over 2 years to find the time #it's actually wild how little tv I watch now. part of it is not having the time but also #the state of the industry rn has made me fall out of love with the medium #shows either keep running and turn to shit or get cancelled after one or two seasons so it's hard to want to start something new #all that said lol we watched 2 episodes and I'm enjoying it so far #I'm not completely bewitched by it yet. hoping I get pulled in more and more as it goes which i can def see happening #I've seen plenty of bits and pieces and knew it would be super different from the book #but it's somehow even more different than I expected lol #in a way it's a good thing cos I can just take it as it is and not compare #I just still need time to wrap my head around these characters; this setting; this plot #because it's pretty much like entering an entirely new property haha #the dynamic between Louis and Lestat is of course fascinating - both very similar and very different to the book #and yeah I'm having a good time with it so far and intrigued to explore these versions of the characters #the book is one of my all time favourites and still reigns supreme at this point but we'll see if the show can catch up 👀

Today's been pretty shit at work like usual and I found myself thinking about Stan...about how despite the way he looks and how his diet is crap, he DOES do a lot of manual, physical labor especially hauling shit around to get the portal built....he's probably got. #A great episode tbh especially given the low budget. I feel like they really did their very best #And even though what I'm going to say next is probably going to be all critic - because I nitpick things and that's what I always end up–#talking about - I still want to underline that it was a very solid and enjoyable episode!!!#Alright the ss/kk was so 💞💞💞 every scene I had to rewatch twice or thrice akhscbashfb they're so cute!!!#Except for the riding scene tho. That scene gives me massive second hand embarrassment every time I just wish it will end as fast as–#possible pffttt. Mmmmhhh... The drawings weren't even too bad all accounted. My main complain is about the quicksand scene...#I feel like that one should be a slow quiet emotional scene. I never licked the choice of using the song as background soundtrack :/#I feel like it ruins the mood of the scene (it was still good though)#I also... Generally don't like the direction they seem to go for with Akutagawa's character in the anime‚ he seems quite a bit flatter–#compared to how he is in the manga. He can't be angry and evil ALL the time you need to show that softness get through from time to time.#If not what even is the point of his character. Yet in the anime he's angry (and not distraught) when he loses the mine craft and he's–#angry when he's questioning Atsushi about his motifs and he's angry when he's bragging about Atsushi's abilities to Goncharov and he's–#angry when he makes the promise with Atsushi at the end of the episode and eventually he'll be just as angry even when telling Atsushi–#to run away as he's sacrificing his life for him. It is pretty flat at the end of the day.#If I can say something about K/ensho Ono without being killed I think they do contribute to making him feel angry all the time.#But that said it's all probably poor directing choices (or simply choices I don't agree with).#Also‚ about cuts. Usually I try to be lenient about it– I understand it's hard to fit in everything and b/sd already does a very–#good job by adapting the manga almost panel-by panel. It's just that... You skip Akutagawa showing compassion for Atsushi after the–#orphanage director died. You skip Atsushi sharing the same compassion when Akutagawa loses his targed in the mines chase. You skip the–#“Nothing special about that. // I suppose he's far crueler than my own mentor.” line. And sure each of them may be negligible by their own #But together they wave a consistent web of relationship between the two characters you know? And it's a loss to omit them all #Well no mind. Again it was still a great episode overall!!!!#I think the colors in the mines could have been prettier in the mines but we can't have it all #Off to season 4!!! Omg I can't believe we got this far :DDD #random rambles #FINALLY was able to catch up in time for the season 3 finale!!!!!!

so I have finally started listening to The Magnus Archives and have been enjoying it so far :33 I’m only a few episodes in so far. However, I fear this may become a repeat of Welcome to Nightvale for me, meaning I will listen to about 30-40 episodes, take a break from it, return to listen after a few months only to realize I have no idea where I left off on and just start from the beginning only to stop listening at that same 30-40 episode marker and the cycle repeats
