disclaimer these are all based on the musical version of her and from a list i made to base her personality off of before i started writing in 2021 so some have changed and whatnot anyhoo

-she met regina in ballet class when they were three. they went to the same preschool too (but different elementary schools)

-the ‘on wednesdays we wear pink’ also started in preschool

-she started working out in her senior year for the SOLE purpose of clocking bigots with as much force as possible

-her dad died when she was four (i haven’t included it in any of my fics but he died from some heart disease kinda shit bc why not)

-she’s GREAT at english, okay at history and piss poor at math and science

-in college she starts dyeing the blonde bits of her hair funky colors with temporary dye and then just before she graduates she cuts it all off and has shoulder-length hair for a solid 10 years lol

-she reads about alien conspiracy theories in her spare time

-she has a WILD sweet tooth

-she’s clumsy AF

-her dad was french so she actually speaks french fluently but pretends not to so she can stay in an easier class (and also stay in damian’s class)

-she’s lactose intolerant

-she refuses to acknowledge this

-she sent flowers to regina after the bus without putting her name on them

-she and kevin have a secret handshake

-she steals damian’s and cady’s jackets a lot, most of the time without realizing. and cady’s doesn’t fit so she uses it as a blanket most of the time

-she’s terrified of needles so she gets all her tattoos and piercings on impulse when she gets random bouts of courage

-she’s secretly kind of a horse girl

-the blonde hair used to be all blonde bc she dyed it when she was plastic but now it’s grown out and she just plays it off as part of her lewk ✨✨

Oh hell, which was the right answer here? Khare pursed her lips as she pondered River's question. It was the first time in a while that she'd seen the other woman come back to the diner which was nice, Khare was glad to see her again but she couldn't quite put a finger on what felt off. River seemed to be well fortunately, other than... was that a limp? No, River seemed fine, and there was a bit of a lull right now in the flow of customers so it was nice to catch up, even play a game or two. Khare realized at this moment she didn't know diddly squat about River and the more time that passed, the more it became apparent. Still, that didn't mean she didn't want to try and River had always been kind to her even if maybe gave her a bit of a side eye when being seated. Did River like to travel by boat? It would be punny if she did, being named River and all but Khare didn't think that was the right answer. One time they met outside the diner, it was by Gotham Bay and River looked positively antsy. It wasn't so bad once you got past the smell, but maybe she liked bodies of water elsewhere? "I'm going with that you're not a fan of travelling on boats. That's not to say you eat like a dumpster though," Khare added quickly when she remembered the first of the three statements. Would she really eat anything that wasn't tied down and uncooked? She did look like she worked out... a lot, so Khare brightened, raising a finger knowingly. "But I understand! you must work out a lot to keep such a great figure, so that means... brown's your favourite colour? Funny, I could have sworn it was red..." She didn't know why she thought that, it just didn't seem like brown was a favourite colour of many people. Maybe back in the 70's perhaps, but River was her age or younger... wasn't she? Jerry's voice hollered from the kitchens stating River's breakfast was ready to collect so Khare jumped up to grab it, setting the still-sizzling plate of delicious meat before her customer. Something tasty that was most certainly cooked, as it should be.

I know we're only just about to enter August, but I'm not ready for whatever they're going to do for Lantern Rite 2024.

the nero and airi connection is so important it's not just bcs theyre my faves

i hope you all know that i do my evil genius laugh whenever i come up with the voice drama titles

shun's voice drama is here! (yes, i decided to post it before akio's trial results, i got tired of waiting dhdjdkd) again, this one was a bit hard to write. i didn't know how i want it to go, but i knew that shun is supposed to say his t1 trailer voiceline. so you'll finally find out the context for that voiceline!

(note: i probably should mention that i didn't write shun's character with any specific mental illness in mind. it's just hard for him to tell what's real and what's not and his brain makes him forget about all the bad things that ever happened to him to "protect" him. this is actually something that often happens to me as well. so yeah, he just acts like that because of stress.

however, remember that shun is smarter than he looks and he will take advantage of people knowing that there's "something wrong" with him. so yes, it doesn't mean that he's actually faking it, he really does have memory problems, but he still can pretend to forget something on purpose. this is why eiji wants miki to ignore all that and says that shun is either a huge liar or he's just dumb. (sorry if it makes you uncomfortable, by the way, but.. that's just what kind of person eiji is, he doesn't care what problems you have, you're just another murderer to him)

Shun: I mean, yes, I did commit murder but..

Eiji: See? You just admitted that you're a murderer.

Eiji: Why should I forgive you after hearing that?

Shun: Because I had my reasons!..

Shun: I.. I had no other choice!

Eiji: Really? Just how bad was your situation if you had no choice but to kill someone?

Miki: Like a family member or a friend?

Eiji: Good for her.

Shun: And she got a new boyfriend right after that.

Eiji: Yeah, and killing him surely was the best option.

Shun: Wouldn't you try to protect the person you love more than your own life?

Miki: However, you still say that you're taken.
