you guys have no idea the amt of self control i have exhibited this morning

#marzi speaks #i did NOT want to go to class holy shit #i kept waking up throughout the morning. like 8 am 8:30 8:45 9:20 #and i guess my dreams were confusing or smth bc every time i woke up i was so disoriented #i would wake up. try to see what my roommates were doing #check the time on my phone. think ‘do i have to be up yet???’#sit there in confusion for a minute or two before remembering No I Do Not (probably)#and then go back to sleep #but THEN when i woke up for REAL bc of my ALARM my roommates were both in their beds!!!#which was DOUBLE confusing. i felt kind of insane #i wanted nothing more than to rest my head against my pillow and drift off again. but i was strong and i am now waiting for class to start #i’m holding onto those absences for when i really need ‘em #can’t waste one this early #also i’ve been waking up with sore throats the past couple days bc of allergies #so i’m like. irritated at the moment bc of that #i hate sore throats they r so annoying

I STILL HOPE TO DO ALL THESE THINGS but i need to let myself take my time and not think that 'ooohh if i dont do this in two/three days its OVER' im throwing my brain at the WALL

living on ur own is weird.

#delete later probably #ive been at my new place for a week now and its really #its a lot #i think im trying to still make it make sense in my head because i dont know what to do and i just keep doing things i know my mom does #like in the morning ill boil a kettle of water even though i only use a little bit of it to make coffee #but i know my mom does that every morning #or i made a pot of tea the other day before bed because my mom always drinks tea before bed #and like i never drink tea but ive been drinking it more because i know thats what my parents do at home #im starting to understand the sort of boring but romanticized idea of cleaning a countertop or doing the dishes or chores that i would #normally do but hate? but now im starting to see why people tolerate it #im finding home in tasks that share a commonality #if i boil a kettle of water then maybe it wont feel so much like a different place #ill wake up and not be surprised im in a different place but ill be surprised that im awake and its morning and i didnt wake up or nothing #woke me up or that theres no noise in the background #its not disorienting its just. different?#it's still different and i dont know when its going to stop feeling different

I had a dream last night that Bakugou got my name tattooed on his ass in cursive bc I was mad at him and then I proceeded to get him off while I called him my property and he loved it. I wanna go back to sleep now

I'm trying to remember it as best as I can bc I ended up falling asleep again afterwards and a lot of it got fuzzy but yall... I had THE cutest dream with Kyle Ash. Like getting a tour of his home and meeting his parents and just this whole warm, fuzzy feeling that was so so SO sweet and comfy... 10/10 would dream again.

From what I remember, it was just walking around casually and chatting about him growing up in Cradle and about his parents and getting shown around the house and all that. Then at some point just chilling on the couch or something and having the yummiest drinks (non alcoholic.. for now haha) it was like a vanilla thing that had almost like a thick texture, with cream on top, idk but apparently it was delicious. And after two of em and a lot of waiting for his parents I think I fell asleep or almost did. And he kept teasing me that the drink he gave me was actually to help you sleep and since I had 2 there was no way I'd be able to keep my eyes open (I might've actually taken a bit of a nap there iirc, and he took the "no one's looking" moment to sneak a forehead kiss I think... too cute help). Then when they showed up there was a lot of teasing but they were suupeerr nice (if anyone read the Kyle proposal event, basically that all over again mhm). Then ofc Kyle's mom is all "ooh do you wanna see baby pictures" and I'm like OH HELL YES and he's like dying of embarrassment in the corner trying to change the topic, but his dad's like oh just give up. And somehow my phone still works in Cradle so I pull up some family pictures of my own to show them, and everyone's just having a grand old time. (I don't remember there being any mentions of his brother but then again I woke up around this point so either my brain was too Kyle focused or it just wanted happy moments idk.) But yeah basically everyone just enjoying food and drinks after that and Kyle tryna sneak off for some smoochies cause now he's feeling all cuddly. The absolute cutest. Woke up in such a good mood after that dream, wish I had such nice dreams more often haha

Bonus: Kyle's parents definitely gossiping about us after and being like "wow I've never seen him like that before he must really like her" and teasing him about it relentlessly (like in aforementioned event, teasing him about marriage and all that good stuff) 🤭💕

when i was post op after top surgery i had a good friend there with me to help recover. but the nurse didnt get the memo and when i woke up she was like “ok i’m gonna go get your girlfriend and bring her in to see you!” and i remember being so zonked on anesthesia and so disoriented i just laid there thinking wow…… all that an they’re bringing me a girlfriend too this place is amazing

I need to figure out how to commit to a 9pm bedtime because I feel so much less exhausted and discombobulated today than sleeping the same amount of time but waking up at noon or 2pm

#slept a really solid 9 hours on Friday night but woke up at 2pm on Saturday and felt really angry and tired and disoriented all afternoon #felt SO exhausted I went to bed at 8pm and fell asleep around 9pm #slept fitfully but woke up at 5 and I feel good. Clear head and calm #Usually I can do a 9:30pm-5am and feel fantastic #but no matter how much I sleep I tend to feel like shit waking up after 10am #but people associate that sleep schedule with luxury and not with anxiety-induced inability to go to sleep before 2am #so I'm like “I slept 10 hours and woke up and noon and feel like someone kicked me in the head 😭😩” and they're like “augh jealous!”#girl! no! i feel like shit and my mental health is in a spiral! its like how sleeping all day when you have the flu isnt good!#roz says a thing
