I’m tired and sleepy and yet I can’t help but smile helplessly at this page lol it never fails to warm me up. Laurent picking his way through Damen’s language and Damen enjoying it in more than simple ways. It’s adorable. I love languages so I deeply appreciate this passage in the story, it’s so true!! Just. So true.

It is a world shifting change. It’s new lenses to understand the world. It’s Damen’s natural lenses applied to what up until now was the strongest symbol of Veretian culture he could account for. The Prince. Damen, smitten as he is, can’t help but appreciate it. Warmly. It brings Laurent closer to what Damen understands. It’s lovely

EARS! My baby finally has his ears! Yes this is why progress has been so slow, his ears have been driving me nuts! A lot in part because I’m such a perfectionist, and it finally dawned on me I should probably write all this down. No, I did not make a pattern first, I’ve literally been flying by the seat of my pants on this one!!!

Poor Antauri, he ended up being the Guinea pig for this one. But I don’t care, I almost taste victory! But, his ears are done! To quote Chiro, “I give up!” For tonight anyway, I’m so tired y’all 😂😴

Also, for context: Stitch has kinda been acting as my ref for how big I want the monkeys to be. Needless to say, they gonna be big! Mostly cause yes, I still snuggle with my plushies and you can fight me about that behind the 7/11 😎

Finally figured out what to draw my partner for their birthday!

I was already set on something Warframe related because we play a lot together. So after spending days sketching out lackluster ideas the perfect one struck me yesterday. So I started drawing and didn’t stop for 12+ hours… because I had to get enough out before I lost the mental image.

I’m always super worried about coming back to a piece the next day, but this one is a keeper. I’m so pleased on my goodness I can’t wait to finish it and show them!
