In all honesty, I’ve always been impressed by Zeno’s performance as Hunter. Even when I wasn’t particularly invested in Hunter as a character at first (this has changed, obviously lol), Zeno’s performance always stuck with me. And knowing he got the role because of Hunter’s little break down in Eclipse Lake in his audition just makes me appreciate his performance, and that whole scene in particular, so much more. Each episode I left it more and more impressed with just how talented this guy is and I began to notice he is in a bunch of other things I watch and he is just as good in those as he is here.

The talent and range Zeno has makes him stand out so much and letting Hunter slowly break down his walls episode by episode allows for that talent to really be heard. That strong, intimidating, and powerful voice he once started with as the Golden Guard has become this more soft, dorky, and energized voice for Hunter. It shows how much has changed, how much he’s grown, how much Hunter has found himself. Zeno’s performance reflects that incredibly and I think it’s worth noting just how quickly Zeno could bring Hunter’s voice back to the Golden Guard tone once the mask was on in Thanks to Them because it once again highlights that growth Hunter has had as a character since episode one and highlights Zeno’s range in his performance.

I don’t think it’s an unpopular opinion to say Zeno is one of the strongest voices in the entire cast. I’d go even further to say he is the strongest voice in the cast, but that’s me. He just continues to impress me every episode and he’s always leaving with a performance that is gut-wrenchingly heart breaking or adorably heart warming. It’s a good performance either way because the passion is there and it keeps you engaged.

I can go on because I truly adore this man and his performance a ton, but I think I’ve made my point.

So here’s the clip again bc it is incredibly well done and Zeno really does deserve the praise that he gets. Also cuz Sarah’s performance was incredible here as well.

champion jesse has been rotating in my head for WEEKS i can finally get this out

also extra info and slight tweaks to the story under the cut!

- jesskas is a thing in this. obviously hfkdj what else did you expect from me

- romeo’s projecting a lot and wants jesse to see his friends the way he sees xara and fred

- lukas joins the main group (he punched romeo right after he teleported jesse away and romeo got pissed) and sorta takes jesse’s place as a reluctant leader

- the hug that happens when jesse and lukas reunite in ep5 is now in ep3 after the prison fight, roles reversed

- olivia and axel replace the ocelots, becoming the dead enders or whatever team name you chose at the start of s1 (to remind jesse of the time before they had any fame)

there’s a bit more lore to this but it’s gotta wait a bit cause it’ll spoil the animatic i’m working on :)

i feel like such a typical fic writer saying this but since i’m getting a lot of comments/asks about attention ch3 i don’t want to keep you all hoping when it might take longer than expected, i just spent four hours in the hospital tonight watching my aunt die while my previously estranged family showed up to pay respects so things are weird as fuck and i’m gonna be off grid for a short while, just letting you know, i will get to your lovely comments and asks in due time 🤍

So, as some of you may have heard, Rooster Teeth has shutdown. This company was behind the shows like Red vs Blue and my former special interest, RWBY.

There’s been a lot of debate whether or not there’s going to be a Volume 10 or not. My guess is no. But I am hoping that Crunchyroll or some other company will pick it up and continue it. But I’m doubtful.

This saddens me because I’ve been a fan since around 2016. I’ve bought shirts, toys, books, and other things because I loved it so much.

But the hood here is that we can make our own ending.

I’ll have to write a story about it sometime or something.

out of all the breakups in the breakup episode finchel’s was beyond goofy. like klaine broke up bc blaine cheated and brittana broke up because of the distance but i didn’t even know finchel was still Together in that episode so how are they breaking up 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Anyone ever think about Andrey in a post Peter death world growing out his hair a bit because it reminds him of Peter. And every now and again he looks in the mirror and adjusts his hair so its almost like he’s looking at Peter. Maybe he even has conversations with this distorted reflection. His hair isn’t quite long enough and he has more scars than Peter ever did, and he could never quite replicate that distinctive look in Peters eyes (really he can barely even remember it now.) Maybe one day he realizes he’s forgotten what Peters voice sounds like. Maybe that day he punches the mirror so hard it cracks in 3 places and there’s blood everywhere. Whose blood even is it? What if he can’t help if a few sobs escape him as he’s cleaning the glass from his knuckles. If he notices the tears streaming down his face when he looks in the mirror and sees the caricature of his dead brother in the broken glass- how fitting. What if he can’t help but laugh- because why is he so fixated on what his dead brother sounds like, it’s not like he’ll ever come back, it’s not like Andrey will ever be whole again. Much like a broken mirror, as much as you try to glue back the pieces, it’s forever cracked. He leaves the blood on the mirror. No point in cleaning it anyways.
