So about that “potential investor” answer

^ judging from this description, these investors are people that Want to be on the island and live there. so, I assume they are people seeking an RBI (residency by investment)

basically, people want to immigrate to Quesdilla Island & acquire residency through a government-administered program. in return they help boost the economy (in this case whatever the federation wants bc they are pretty much the government here)

the original english/spanish speakers came to the island only for a temporary vacation before having it all twisted around on them. q!cellbit and bagi lived here as children. the french plane was downed, turns out q!antoine/baghera/kameto/aypierre all had prior connections to the federation. the ice chamber people were already here

now that we know the federation seems to be offering RBI programs, it means any of our current residents could’ve been someone, or had family (probably like cellbit/bagi’s parents?) that made a conscious investment to live on Quesadilla Island hoping for a nice life here. likely having no idea they were signing up to be an experiment, or participate in conducting experiments

you know the commercial, look how they play up the island as being a beautiful and perfect place to live. but that one is 20 years old and was made by q!pol before he got iced. if this quiz is present-day, that means this kind of thing is probably still going on. what kind of advertising is the federation doing outside of the island…?

will any of the new members coming soon be a result of that?

Hey Ro my beloved!! Here to indulge on the self-shipping. I was curious, do you have an actor or model that you see in your head as faceclaim for Jason? Or does your mind come up with a very specific iteration of him when you think about him? I ask because, when I like a written/drawn character, my mind is always on the lookout for an actor or a model that fits the description, just to have more of a solid idea of what they may look like in the flesh.

(Granted I used to be such a huge fan of all things Batman related but have fallen super behind and I don’t know if he has been adapted into a live action series or anything yet, so!)

jason has technically been adapted in the live action series but curran walters (the actor) is definitely not the jason i envision in my mind in my selfship au. i’m super super picky about face claims when it comes to him so i don’t actually have one that i go to every single time BUT in my mind he looks exactly like this one random guy i saw in 2017 whose face i cant even properly remember anymore 😭

usually in my mind apart from that i kind of imagine him as tanned and a bit beefy - but just a liiittle bit less than some of the official art. like a minuscule amount less just because i’m not a fan of the way they draw him a lot of the time. i think one of my favourite versions of him is in this panel because he looks so beautiful. tw for the joker tho i hate that clown.

a lot of the time they draw him so stocky and very…idk how to describe it but he looks much older than his age and it’s not very flattering. my mind’s jason is a mix of pretty/handsome and strong features i think. like he has pretty eyes and high cheekbones and a nice jaw but he’s also like. soft and strong. i like the idea of his muscles being covered in a layer of softness so it’s not like movie star six pack and gun show, he’s got big arms but they’re also soft. does this make sense? also he 100000% has the white streak and i imagine him with scars bc he earned them!! he looks a little scary but he’s a softie!!!!

i think he gets a little softer as our relationship progresses. this is a more personal thing but the idea of gaining weight in a relationship because you’re being well fed and loved is so important to me, for the both of us, because it’s like. you’re safe enough to relax, you’re happy enough to live and be healthy. it makes me emotional thinking about it. also with this - i think he looks more his age in my selfship au and it’s in that same vein of finally getting to rest. drawing from my own personal experiences, i looked a lot older than i was for most of my teenage years because of stress etc and it’s only in recent years that that’s stopped, so i imagine it’s the same with him. we get to be young together and we get to rest. this is so grossly sappy but there’s such a big healing element to that relationship and it’s so important to me.

Wow.... only 7 drabbles left for MLT. I'm so curious to see what happens. Since Yoongi's wedding is just weeks away, I would assume we would be on the last three... Usually a lot of time passes in between one drabble and the other, so I'm super curious about what is yet to happen since we still have 7 whole drabbles. It feels like when you're reading a book, and the main conflict just ended, but you still have 100 pages left, and it's incredibly nerve-wrecking! I know you said you want to challenge the idea of a happy ending, but at the same time... that doesn't mean these 2 need to go their separate ways if u know what I'm saying. I'm just soooo curious!! I'm picking up some things... Yoongi promised not to do the same things his father did to MC... which was to put her in the position where MC needs to leave the palace, or make her seem like a target... but at the same time Yoongi doesn't want to end things with her. He refuses. So I'm just thinking... A lot of people assume since Yoongi is getting married to another woman, that their relationship will cease to exist & they will move on and look back to the time with fondness and nothing more... You've been vague about the ending and the options. And if I've learned something from this series, is that you're an unpredictable writer. We're all assuming MC will move on with someone else, but... I think it won't be that predictable. AH! I'm so invested! Phenomenal job, honestly. This story is truly gripping.

ahhhh i know!!! it feels wild to be this close to the end. it was originally meant to be like 47 or something but i ended up squishing a few together. yessss........ let the intrigue and suspense wash over you hahaha 👀 i think the non-conflict-centered structure i'm using definitely also contributes to that feeling when we're usually so accustomed to having a big main conflict there. please keep that curiosity alive hehe! i think the biggest thing i can say about the ending is that it's definitely unpredictable HAHA. you're right -- it would be difficult for OC to move on from him in her current state. she has loved him, as a subject and romantically, all her life. and it's important to keep in mind the historical context of the world we're in as well. hehe. thank you for these kind words!! im so excited to hear what you think as the story develops heheheh 😉

If you’re familiar with the history, it’s kind of similar to that in terms of each character’s fate. But the storyline between Cesare and Lucrezia is just so ridiculous. And I don’t say this because I love them - I’m saying it because the way they end makes absolutely no sense based on the build up in seasons 1 through 3. The trajectory falls completely flat.

It’s a quick read and I checked it out because I was curious but to be honest it was such a waste of time. I’m ignoring it’s existence and I’m comforted to see that pretty much every fan agrees.

For Monsta X, I ship you with I.M! Even though he is the youngest, he’s the most flexible out of Monsta X, he’s very curious, so he adapts easily to change. Like you, he’s also introverted, and that’s one of the things that makes the two of you so compatible! Unlike you, he’s very street smart, but that’s no problem! He’ll be with you at all times so you won’t have to struggle when it comes to those kinds of decisions. He is ambitious and also wants to achieve many things, so you’ll be his cheerleader that helps him achieve his goals through the rest of his days as an idol or producer!

For Wanna One, I ship you with Daniel! He’s very personable and is very warm to everyone when he meets people for the first time. He’s not known for his aegyeo, but since he’s asked to do it a lot, he’s kind of used to it by now. In that sense, the two of you are similar, and since you’d probably do it so well, he’d most likely want you to do it for him most of the time. Another way he’s like you is that the both of you smile a lot. Even when one of you are down, the other will just pick the other up by showing a smile. I know it might seem like a cliche, but it works for the two of you - it’ll be your guys’ thing.
