Leonard McCoy has the softest hands. He takes great care in making sure that his hands are always moisturized. He even always does his best to have good circulation in his hands so that they are always warm to the touch. Leonard had always refused to be one of those doctors that are known for their ice cold hands. He can often be caught rubbing his hands together while walking over to a patient just to make sure they aren’t cold.

It is because he is a surgeon Leonard does his best to make sure he doesn’t damage his hands. However that can prove difficult when one has a friend like Jim Kirk and is often dragged into borderline unbelievable scenarios.

It was because of the WILD ADVENTURES while aboard the Enterprise that Leonard made sure he knew EXACTLY how to punch so he wouldn't injure his hands. On top of that, he also does a number of exercises with his hands to keep them nimble, and doing anything he can to increase his hand to eye coordination since it is essential to being a good surgeon.

YES, the details matter. They are important. They are very important to me anyway and I need them. You might not see big huge things going on in my art but there are small tweaks and tricks that add to the environment to make it feel alive.

I hate hate hate the way my brain is wired right now

I got overstimulated cause I haven't showered in too long (depression and dysphoria make it hard along with chronic pain) and wasn't wearing comfy clothes (my shirt had a literal collar around my neck which makes me feel like I can't breath and I was wearing pants I don't typically wear all for an interview) plus I was out longer than anticipated

I finally get home and take a shower

I can't use soap cause the soap feeling will make the overstimulated feeling come back and be worse and I don't feel like attacking anyone tonight

I notice a *slight* build up of dead skin on my arm

I start scrubbing at it

I can't stop

I end up scrubbing everywhere I can reach on my body so hard I leave marks and clog the hair catcher

I finally move on to my scalp

The gunk won't stop

I scrub in the shower for over 2 hours

I finally get out of the shower and dry off

More dead skin

I rub at it with the towel until it hurts

I ask someone I live with (she picks at my scalp all the time) to see if she wants to try getting three last of the gunk off

She informs me I can't get it without shampoo

I now need another shower

...and I'm itchy like I was before my shower

So, uh, all my figures are there because the stupid shelf they all wanted me to put my books in fell. It was flimsy, can't support shit, I don't know why they wanted me to put everything there. But okay. So, yeah, it fell. Everything that was on there is fine at least, no bends or anything to the books, the figures are all okay, everything is okay. Nothing else around broke. But I'm pissed that everyone thought it was gonna support everything. Which I obviously knew it wouldn't.
