Hi! I'm Bunny and I'm redesigning the whole cast for hazbin hotel

Anyway.... Onto my designs! I'll be detailing the stuff I changed/added

First is.,..!! Sir pentious! Weird right? You would think it's Charlie but uh nah, he's my favorite character and I wanted to make him similar to my tastes.

Yes he is trans! I have a small little HC that the egg boys are his boys...

And he is much longer/bigger due to this because of sexual dimorphism! But we love him for who he is now he's so silly :). He also has a barbed tail that I would say is used as a 5th hand! To grab stuff. He already has 4 arms cause why not? He needs to push himself around already..

Next is.. Angel Dust!, he doesn't have an alt version because I feel it's not needed but here he is!

I added pedipalps, those are the mandible looking things. They are a part of spiders I think are so cool and I wanted to add them! Unfortunately they're not counted as legs and adding another set of legs to angel I couldn't figure out... But good enough!

I also changed his eyes! To include a spiderweb, I'm not entirely sure why he has that black eye, so I thought I would change it up a little bit.

A friend gave an idea that his sight from that eye is kaleidoscope-like so I'm implementing that too! And how could I forget! The spiderbutt! Without it it's kinda weird looking so I wanted to add it in cus it's so cute

Next up.... Husk! He's one of my favorite characters so.. kinda went all out on him

I didn't change much about him besides his patterns and colors, but generally his silhouette is the same!

I wanted to add a lot more feathers and fluff to him! And putting on the casino style bringing back the spades and hearts to his wings again!

I thought the spades were funny

Up next.. Vox!

I found his design interesting that he is a flat screen TV even though he died in the 50's? So I decided to change that! Turning him into a box TV again!

And giving him a cable tail, I thought it would be clever that when sleeps he charges himself up for the day!

Next up... niffty! She's the last character I've designed so far!

Also while looking up her historically accurate date I found out she's 22??? Weird... But yeah she did end up looking a little older here I'm glad, but I really wanted to give her a bigger needle! What's she gonna do with that small thing?

And her dress is based on 50's maid outfits! With the addition of an embroidered poodle!

Well first I'm crazy and second, I've been now made aware that the show itself does a certain type of representation so disgustingly that I'd rather make my own designs and fix what they couldn't do.

Thrills and Chills

Fem!Reader Words: 1072

Summary: Amusement Parks tend to be places filled with joy and laughter. Yet with the Halloween season upon most Amusement Parks become a place bound to horror giving scares to those who dare to show. The perfect spot for a date. Right?

AN: Modern AU go brr sometimes. This is actually my first thing I wrote for Wriothesley in a Modern AU. I missed writing for him so I'm glad I finally had an idea for him again. Beta read by @isekyaaa

With a hop down from Wriothesley’s jeep, Y/N stood firmly down on the pavement of the parking lot. “I beg of you to please get risers on this thing. It’s up so high I might break an ankle.”

“You’re being dramatic. I told you if you need me to help you down I will.” He reminded again as he walked around to the passenger side.

“I know but I don’t want to have to rely on you for that. Also what about heels? I’m tired of having to change shoes every time we go somewhere when I wear heels.” She complained as she grabbed her bag off the seat of the jeep before closing the door.

“I’ll look into it.” He spoke as he hit the button on his key locking the vehicle before shoving the key in his pocket. 

“You better. My ankles depend on you.” She spoke as she grabbed his hand. “You know I’ve never been to this amusement park before. You’ll have to lead the way.”

“I’ll be happy to.” Wriothesley gently squeezed her hand. He had only been to the park once before with friends.

The entrance to the park was covered in spiderwebs. A fog machine and ambient music only added to the haunting atmosphere. It wasn’t bad, though. It was just a little more spooky than normal.

“I thought this would just be a normal amusement park.”

“It is. I just never had the chance to go while it’s all decorated like this. I thought it would be nice to do together.” Despite Wriothesley being such a big guy who most people upon first meeting would describe as scary, he looked like a big puppy as he smiled at her.

“Well, what would you like to do? First times like this should be special.” It was just Halloween decorations; she liked Halloween. Nothing to worry about.

The grip Y/N had on Wriothesley's arm could have cut off the circulation with how tightly she squeezed him. She had no clue he enjoyed haunted houses this much. The park had plenty to entertain him much to her disappointment. It didn’t help that they had actors running around, scaring people around the park outside of the haunted houses as well. At least he was having fun despite her unknown terror.

She was able to play it off as if she was just cold from the chilly autumn air before, but that only ended up making it worse. Being inside the haunted houses gave more warmth than the outside air which led them to focus on just the houses. Wriothesley was just trying to make sure she was comfortable. It was actually really sweet of him despite feeling like she had to lie since he was having such a good time. 

“I think we have three more haunted houses left. If I knew you were gonna get this cold I would have brought my jacket.” Wriothesley had pulled out of the grip she had on his arm before throwing the same arm around her shoulder. “You sure you don’t want to get a sweater from one of the gift shops?”

“NO!” That came out louder than she had meant. All the gift shops they had walked past actors stationed nearby. And zombies were just the most terrifying to her. “I just mean I don't need a sweater when I have you to keep me warm.”

He raised an eyebrow at her questioning what she had said. “As much as I like you wanting to be up under me, we are kind of running out of park that we can comfortably enjoy like this. I would hate to cut this short. It’s not like we get to go on dates often.”

“Have you considered that’s the exact reason I’m okay with being close to you like this?” She asked, looking up at him to give him puppy dog eyes to sell her half-lie, which was her downfall. 

It had made them perfect targets as two of the actors had run up towards them. One of them, a woman drenched in blood let out a screech before a man violently waving an axe followed behind. The pair was already onto their next targets when Wriothesley noticed how tightly she was clenching onto him. Terror spelled out in her eyes.

Had he been that blind all night?

Wriothesley looked around before bringing Y/N along towards the line for the Ferris wheel.  With guests focused on the more seasonal activities the line was relatively empty, which made getting on the calming ride quick and easy. 

He waited till they were just up high enough away from the ride operators before asking, “Why didn’t you just say you were scared? That you weren’t having a good time?”

“You looked so excited to experience this. I didn’t want your fun to get cut short 'cause I couldn’t handle it.” Her eyes stayed glued to the floor of the carriage. 

“What’s it worth if you aren't having a good time as well? I said I would take you out on a fun date, not try to give you nightmares.”

“I just thought maybe I could handle this. It doesn’t help that you wanted to surprise me. I was excited for this. I like our dates.”

“Yeah, but we could have gone somewhere else if you weren’t enjoying this. Weren’t you the one saying this works better if we are open with each other?” His words were as soft as his touch. Wriothesley gently moved her head to look at him with a thumb brushing against her cheek.

“I,” a hitch of her breath swallowed the words for a second, “I did say that. I just feel silly. None of this is real so why am I so scared? It’s just so irrational.”

“I still feel the compulsive need to have a knife under my pillow. I don’t have room to judge your fears. I’m just here to help in any way that I can.”

It felt natural to allow herself to fall into the comfort of Wriothesley’s arms after fighting her fear for so long all night. The rest of the ride on the Ferris wheel was quiet and warm despite the chill of the fall air. Perhaps once she was able to pull herself back together with his help, they could find something else to do. Something far, far away from any concept of horror.

Girl, im in the same boat as you. After the pandemic, things are finally starting to pick up pace for me and I began this year busier than ever. My twitter account was starting to collect dust and spiderwebs, and I said ok, perhaps this is it. It may be time for me to find a different hyper fixation or a new hobby. But these bitches saw me walking out the door and pulled me back in. See? Now this is why I got into kpop. It takes so little to make a woman's heart soften, and yet most days I had to sit through the most unhinged and boring drama ever. Listen, I just wanna be entertained, is that too much to ask?

Well, today it looks like my prayers have been answered. I woke up to some delicious baemin content. Loved that they showed us a little bit of the rehearsal, and have you seen how jimin talks to his hyung? I don't know how taeyang deals with the urge to pick him up and take him home. He's so strong and brave 🫡 then we finally got the live jimin has been promising since last year and i cant believe he keeps getting prettier and cuter every time i see him. How can a grown ass man be that cute and lovely? And he keeps talking about how much he's working and all the things he's preparing... honestly I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but really when it comes to jimin i cant help but get excited. And then, jk's weird ass back at it again! which i was especially glad for because I missed his live yesterday AND with the addition of jimin's comments?? he really got me feeling things ngl I was giggling and kicking my feet, I can't say I wouldn't pay them money just to see jimin tie jungkook's hair. I'm just a girl you know...

So yeah, just like that, I missed a good chunk of my morning looking for translations and staring at my phone like a dumbass. Maybe some other day i will find a more productive way to waste my time, but for now it looks like I'll stick around 😮‍💨

We're having almost the same experience 👀

In my case, I don't need another hyper fixation or anything. I've had enough of such intensities since 2020, but as you said, mostly it's just witnessing mindless drama and the usual bullshit. And on top of that, in terms of the music and other content, what is there left for now? I've been through almost everything BTS. I'm not gonna write about the same thing until I get grey hair. Which means I'm left with paying attention to the solo projects. And since life's too short for me to spend time writing or watching what people do, especially if I don't care much about them, I'm left with the biases. Jungkook is on a break (those saying he's not getting work because the company doesn't offer him opportunities are simply demented) and the only one left is Jimin. And his solo work is starting to pick up and it's really the only relevant thing right now for me.

The problem is that it's become a habit. Keeping up to date through social media, which means that as much as I try to avoid it, I still have to see things and people against my own will and I'm too far into this thing and in my life in order to pretend that I still want to pay attention and write about it. I mean, lately I've made my position even clearer than it was before because it just doesn't matter at the end of the day. I'm in a speeding train caught on fire and at some point I will have to jump. Because I know what awaits me out there. Instead of reading and debating daily fandom bullshit, I can dedicate more of my time to watching films and pick up my dusty books from the library, knowing that there's no way I can be as disappointed as I feel after 2 hours in bts/fandom spaces. I need that dose in order to remind myself that there are things that bring me joy and I don't have to witness stupid people writing nonsense on twitter.

I also have fun here, with its ups and downs. But there's the risk of becoming repetitive and that's the death of passion. No thank you.

And then there's days like this in which it's fun again, starting with that performance rehearsal and ending it so nicely. I missed it. Like you said, I want to be entertained. That's all. And that includes everything, from frivolous aspects like watching JK eat chicken on a vlive, to a song release, a Fashion Week appearance or putting out a fascinating portfolio.

6: What do you use to keep your place when you’re reading a book?

I grabbed so many paper bookmarks from my last job over the year that I worked there lol they were just ones we printed ourselves on cardstock but every time I bought a new book (or 12) I would grab like 3 bookmarks so now they're scattered all over my boxes of books lol I also have a cool metal bookmark my previous boss gave me! It's a feather on one end (sorta looks like a hook) and dangling from the other end is a sun and moon pendant. It's really nice so I've been using that now that I'm not worried about losing it lol

7: What color dominates your closet?

Hmm...either black or red I think. Actually probably black just because it goes with anything, I do love picking out the most obnoxiously colored outfits though lol at all times I strive to look like a paint palette threw up on me

19: What’s your favorite Halloween costume from when you were a kid?

Hmm I had this witchy costume in 4th grade that I adored - it had this thin gauzy coat/cloak thing with sparkly purple spiderwebs all over it, and the sleeves draped from the elbows. It was my first instance of feeling like a real witch, and it solidified a lasting love of fancy drape-y sleeves (I don't know fashion enough to know what you would call it, but they are my favorite style of sleeve lol)

48: Do you have a favorite plate or bowl?

All my plates and bowls are brand new and part of the same set so as of right now, no, but I DO have favorite cups and they are the Burger King exclusive light up promotional Fellowship of the Ring glasses lol I had the Arwen glass growing up, it mysteriously disappeared from my dad's years ago when I moved out (I didn't take it with me but it's not there anymore), and when I moved into my new place one of the first things I did was order the full set so I replaced the one I lost plus got 3 I never had 😁 now when I have guests I can break out the fancy cups (sadly the light up parts were...gross lol so they went in the trash, but the glasses themselves are perfectly usable!)

Day 29. Halloween + Surprise

I wanted to write some more Cringe Crew. This took me way longer than I wanted it to. I had a lot of fun though, those three are so fun.

Her phone vibrated, and a faint notification echoed in the empty throne room. Zagan straightened her back and stirred up from her boredom induced comatose. She lazily swiped at the screen, one new notification from an unknown number. The text read:

«Heya! (⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠) It's Badyah! Ya know, Norma's best friend (⁠｡⁠･⁠ω⁠･⁠｡⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠♡ ? We're having a costume party next week!! I'd be soooooo cool if you could make it＼⁠(⁠^⁠o⁠^⁠)⁠／»

Just as she was about to write back, the second message came:

«PS. It's a surprise, so don't tell Norma UwU✿»

That fully captured her attention. It was a costume party. More importantly, it was a surprise costume party for Norma. Now that sounded like a great time. Another notification popped up shortly after the previous two:

«PS2. I would be really grateful if you could come to help us with the preparations (⁠ㆁ⁠ω⁠ㆁ⁠) Are you free next Friday (⁠人⁠ ⁠•͈⁠ᴗ⁠•͈⁠)?»

"Ooooooh! I'm so so glad you made it!" Badyah squealed, squishing her own face in between her palms. "We have so much work to do, and I still need to finish my costume. Wait, do you have a costume? Can I pick one out for you?" She talked so fast that Zagan was barely able to keep up. "Wow, hey, slow down." She stepped out of the elevator, already feeling lost. "What are we even doing? What's this all about?" "Oh, right." The girl scratched her chin, thinking of an answer. "So, our boss, her name's Barborah, let us throw a Halloween party in Dead End. Everyone's invited." She started to pace around the main hall as she talked. "Coincidentally, Norma's birthday is coming up too, and since we are allowed to organize a party in her favorite place in town we might as well combine the two!" She threw her hands in the air with a huge smile on her face. "That's… actually a really good idea," Zagan admitted, already feeling the infectious enthusiasm of the human in front of her. "I'm in. Let's do this thing!" "Yes! I knew I could count on you!" With absolutely no hesitation, she gave the demon a quick hug, before grabbing her by the hand and dragging her deeper into the house.

Human customs were odd, Zagan decided while floating in the air, close to the ceiling. Most of the decorations were already in place; the Jack-o'-lanterns were lit and the tables were filled with themed snacks. Other people milled around the Dead End, finishing their tasks before the start of the party. She affixed the last of the fake spiderwebs to the chandelier and landed on the floor. Badyah waved her over from the other end of the room with her usual bright smile. "I've got us something fun to wear!" She grabbed two bags from the floor and passed one to Zagan. "I think I got your size about right." "Thanks." The bag was full of black clothes with many red details all over. "What costume is this?" "A character from Norma's favorite series!" Badyah grinned. There was a playful twinkle in her eyes that immediately made Zagan suspect there was some mischief afoot. "Which is?" "Demonvania. You'll be dressed like the main antagonist, who also happens to be a vampire." "So, the big bad from a game?" She tilted her head to the side, considering it for a split second. "Are they hot?" "Oh, I bet you'll wear it better." Zagan froze. That response was thrown out so casually, she'd almost missed it herself. Badyah had seemingly moved on to other things, digging through the other bag. Not knowing what to say to that, she opted to just excuse herself from the room and change into her costume.

She had to admit, it was a great look on her. It might’ve not been the exact right color scheme, she would’ve preferred purple accents over the red ones, but the fit itself was on point. The heavy cape did nothing to limit her range of motion and left her wondering why she’d never decided to wear one in the first place. “All right! Girl, I have no clue how’d you get my size just right but-” she walked into the main hall just to find herself face to face with Norma. She and Badyah stood at the entrance, deep into an animated conversation. They were both in costumes as well, Norma with some sort of a white mask, perforated on the mouth level. It was now raised to her forehead as she talked. She was dressed in a set of work clothes stained with mud and red paint, and there was an impressively large, and wide blade strapped to her side. Meanwhile, Badyah was dressed from top to bottom in black, flowy fabric. She wore a screaming, white mask, now tilted to the side of her face. “Oooh! See! I told you it’s perfect for you.” Badyah’s smiled, her eyes sneaking looks at Norma as if waiting for something. “Zagan’s here,” Norma said quietly, completely fixated on her and her only. “Yep! Surprise! Got invited and couldn’t say no. Happy Halloween!” It took a lot to not remark on being aggressively checked out. Instead of saying anything, she leaned in, closer into her space, and whispered, “and, happy early birthday too.” In response, Norma pulled down her mask and mumbled, “thanks,” from behind it. “This is going to be the best party ever.” Badyah sighed happily to herself.

damn, never thought we'd get here, did we?

in all honesty, it's been a pretty shit year. march 'til now has felt like the same month on repeat with tiny tweaks to make it all so much worse. but i'm not here to complain about the worst parts of this year, i'm here to celebrate the best ones.

this was the year that i finally started writing, that i was finally spurred to open a google doc and just type away until a tiny work of fiction stared back at me. my first one was 1k words, a rant to get all of my emotions off of my chest with an idol as my muse. it felt...great, though it also felt a bit odd writing after being an avid reader for years. i always did prefer essays to creative writing, but this year definitely changed that perspective.

i wrote that first blurb along with another fic in late july, and in early august, i asked my friends if i should post them. om august 3rd, i changed this blog from a fic rec to a fic writing blog just like that. i regret none of it.

it's been nearly five months since i revamped this blog and i couldn't be more grateful for the support i have gotten from all of you, whether it be a kind comment, a like, a reblog, all of it. i never thought anyone would like my content, but i've been proven severely wrong by this community. from my irls that are on here, to my lovely mutuals and followers, to those i've talked to a lil bit on this hellsite, to the writers whose fics i absolutely adore, to those who have left a like or a comment on one of my fics, i want to say thank you from the very bottom of my heart ♡

have a happy and healthy new year! i love and appreciate every single one of you!!

OKAY SO I've just spent the best part of an hour scrolling through your blog and reading a bunch of your destiel meta and I HAD to message you... I was one of the many people who STRONGLY believed destiel had a chance of being canon after season 8 (more like season gr8 am i right), but throughout the years I slowly lost all hope. However, S14 has made me 110% invested in the show again and YOUR META IS GIVING ME HOPE FOR DESTIEL, which is TERRIFYING. Your writing is wonderful and I'm STRESSED.

Oh my gosh @alovelikecas, your message really made my day and I’m SO glad you enjoy my meta xox (even when most of my meta looks like, to me, sloppy-ass writing, haha! I’ll probably make an end-season meta post after 14x20 — if I have the time — that touches upon SPN’s current and repeating themes since Season New Beginnings S12/Dabb Era, not to mention I have, like, some more unfinished meta in my drafts >.>)

Yeah I mean, I didn’t join Destiel land until Summer 2016, and before that, I was late to the Season 11 party, so I basically had no narrative context for anything, and I’ll copy-paste what I said here: 

Looking back, one significant thing I recall? S11 gave me a sense of Destiel’s true narrative validity (as not a ‘fanon’ ship but organically developed in the canon) when I perceived it as a season that was ‘missing something’. Keep in mind I had no idea about Destiel yet while watching S11 at the time.

I was literally asking myself — repeatedly — why Dean/Amara seemed to contain odd narrative holes, considering A. Dean explicitly said that the non-consensual attraction he felt for Amara was NOT love and “it scares him”, B. Amara told Dean that ‘something stops you - keeps you from having it all’, C. Djinn!Amara stated that she can: ‘feel the love [Dean] feels, except it’s cloaked in shame,’ and D. Mildred’s iconic ‘You’re pining for someone’ —> which did not logically correlate with A and C, meaning: since Dean doesn’t freely love Amara and thus isn’t possibly pining for her — with female love interests as currently non-existent (I remember crossing off the dead/gone girls on a piece of paper lol) — who the hell was he pining for, then?

Obviously, without writing long-ass paragraphs of meta about it again in this post, S11 made sense as soon as I watched it within the Destiel context (especially after I read up on some grandiose pieces of Destiel meta (@charlie-minion was the very first person who inspired me to write meta; I followed her once I joined the fandom <3)). CAS was the missing piece. Free/Chosen Love vs Coerced/Forced Love. I pretty much choked. I was like Oh my god, here we go, holy crap this subtext – I’m invested in this godforsaken ship because they’re in love with each other and I’m not getting off any time soon. The rest is history.

I’m aware that I do come off as positive (and I’m still Destiel-positive; whatever happens in 14x20 this week may or may not change that), but I hope you don’t mind if I use your lovely ask as an additional opportunity to clarify my meta standpoint: no one’s saying Destiel WILL become text. 

The general Destiel meta community (all subfactions: Destiel-positive, -negative, -neutral, and in-between) is not the Most Holy Canon Word, and we aren’t SPN writers, and again, we can’t actually speak to the veracity of Destiel as guaranteed-gonna-go-textual, but we — a diverse pool of critical thinkers from all walks of life: particularly those who have some degree of experience in literary academia/English literature studies (fun fact: I was actually pursuing a Minor’s in English until I changed my mind - my first love’s Health Science/Biology, which I stuck with, but here I am doing lit-crit analysis on the side *wink*) — can speak to the veracity of Destiel as a real, palpable, and ever-substantial long-running romance narrative aka the love story between Dean and Cas IS THERE. I see it. We all see it. We didn’t pluck it out of the random ether one day. It naturally evolved across the show’s overarching narrative like some vast spiderweb, linked together by numerous character arc amalgamations of Dean Winchester and Castiel as separate individuals who were then brought together — who brought themselves together, by the sheer force of free will and choice — and are now inherent parts of the other’s story (and respective character progression).

I say this too many times to count: the entire point of writing meta? Personally, it enables me to appreciate the literary gorgeousness of Dean and Cas’ relationship as, first and foremost, a tentative alliance offset by the very moment Cas raised Dean from perdition (it’s a poetic beginning). Their alliance then inevitably proliferated into a rocky — at times, necessarily turbulent — friendship, then a deep profound bond…one that crossed platonic boundaries since S7/8 and is, ultimately, indelibly rooted in romance. Together, Dean and Cas build up each other’s strengths, complement each other’s flaws, and narratively motivate the other to self-introspect — to become the best version of themselves that they were always meant to be: self-actualized entities who let go of their painful, horrifying, psychologically/emotionally destitute pasts.

These above reasons and more are why I think Destiel belongs right up there on the shelf of Ye Olde Classics, similar to epics by John Milton, Shakespearian tragic dramas, Homeric characteristic cruxes, and the great Odyssey journey: a legendary journey, fraught with circumstance, that finally ended with Odysseus (now an enlightened man) returning to Penelope, the love of his life.

Channeling the scope of Homer’s Odyssey, Destiel is an incredible storytelling feat of obstacles, both internal and external, romance tropes, mirroring, foreshadowing, and visual cadence/emotion, enhancing SPN’s already character-driven main plot in that Dean and Cas try to make it back to one another; like Penelope, their love holds true despite everything. If Destiel were an M/F couple, we all know their love story would be absolutely undeniable to the GA.

I do understand the bitterness S14’s fostered in some viewers, though. I do understand that Dean and Cas seem distant (and yeah, it’s a noticeable difference compared to S12/S13), but I believe the Destiel subtext is still heavy and holds steady.

Right now, at this point, there remains multiple personal issues for the characters to solve, you know? Dean and Cas aren’t talking properly; their love languages stay mistranslated, although we’re persistently shown that they still understand each other on a certain level that no one else can, and the visual narrative keeps framing them as on-the-nose solid counterparts: a domestic-spousal romantic unit independent of Sam.

They want to be there for the other. They need to quash the final remnants of their respective internal loathing (Dean’s self-worthiness, Cas’ self-expendability) before they’re able to give the other 100% of their time, efforts, attention, and love (as flawed and complicated but compellingly beautiful as it can possibly be). During the times Dean and Cas do try to talk shit out, extraneous issues continue to get between them.

As other friends/meta pals discussed with me, S14 is like S10 in that it’s confusing the cast/audiences. And exactly: S8, besides S11/S12/early S13, also belongs in the close-to-canon serious Destiel narrative transition! I can discuss the showrunning/writer problem of SBL (Singer + Bucklemming; @occamshipper hits the nail on the head) that tugs subtext – especially subtext linked to Destiel – back and forth, sometimes in the weirdest nonsensical ways, but I won’t go too far into it here. I agree, however, with the recent idea that Jensen does seem a bit confused as to where he should bring Dean emotionally this season (don’t get me wrong, I do NOT believe Dean is OOC; OOC is a completely different concept vs expected character behaviour). And if Dean’s consistently romance-coded past interactions with Cas are any indication, Jensen would also — in the same vein as all of us — want Dean and Cas to start getting their shit together. Long-running fictional characters like Dean and Cas, conceived over 10 years, are so well-written to the point where you, the author, can predict what they’ll do even if you just plop both of them inside a room and give them no direction, and I personally feel that nowadays Jensen is prevented from achieving Dean’s further internal growth/unsure how to act in the moment because of some dumb SBL scripts saying one thing while his character’s heart says another. Wank aside—

Season 15 should hopefully convey a much more logical subtextual perspective e.g. unbelievably amazingly cohesive Season Destiel 11 that aired after choppy S10. Not all hope is lost!! I also want to clarify that I personally LOVED Season 14 in general. It’s been mostly Emotion-centric constant, with Yockey, Berens, Perez, and Dabb usually making my top-rank SPN writer list.

Currently the narrative’s still allowing pretty significant (imho) wiggle room for the lovers to fracture apart and get back together, where their miscommunication comes to a dramatic head. We just saw Dean and Cas argue over Jack’s well-being in 14x18 and 19. Dean — besides putting Cas at the top of his You’re-Dead-to-Me-Because-You-Lied-but-I-Still-Love-You-Goddammit hitlist (for clear spousal-coded reasons) and taking Cas’ actions to heart (he’s the person he trusted the most who lied to him) — no doubt blamed himself for what happened, and Sam was, like I said, the mouthpiece of truth. TFW were all culpable. They all failed Jack in some way, shape, or form.

I’m not expecting anything for 14x20, but I’m nervous either way! Thanks for sticking with my long answer <3
