I really should not have stepped foot onto Tumblr today without watching the last Limited Life episode first. Because FUCKING SHIT MARTYN HAS WON!!! I genuinely can't believe it. Having thoughts about Gordon and Arthur H. Rn but esp about the world that we live in...

Gordon lives in a world riddled by apocalypse and post apocalypse that has danger around every corner. But he continues to be full of care for the people he knows. He continues to help people because he cares. He was just a scientist that got wrapped up in...science gone catastrophicly wrong. Friends probably died from that. Still he had the capacity to love and be loved. He doesn't help others because he wants to be a hero, he helps because he cares. And that is what makes him all the more beautiful to me.

Arthur lives in a world that got fucked by a war and a "happy pill" that didn't solve anything for anyone. He fucked up in the past and had that blissfully erased from memory because of the medicine. But he remembered and he needed to fix it. He risked everything to get away from this hellish place and to find his brother. He faced the past that was so regressed from the Joy. So much other shit happened to him as well yet he stayed on task. As much as he loves me, he stayed on task. And I respect that, deeply.
