Apparently I can meet my goal of roughly 400,000 words in 6 months if I just somehow write at least 2,200 words a day ghbjh... Almost 2,500 today... huzzah...

Oooookay, Hawu'li is technically ready for DT now. Cleaned his inventory, got few spots on retainers free, threw out bunch of unused gear from armory chest and set him both nice whm glam as well as updated swimsuit. Maybe they let us go to the beach upon arriving to Tural haha.

I kinda want to get pics of East Shroud for the wanderer project so I can finish at least Shroud with the old graphics, might get to those tomorrow. Island sanctuary might need a quick look over too - I got that voucher mount during weekend so not much there left, but I'd like to keep it semi functional for dyes and stuff. Also need to get few screens of his current glam just so I can see how he really changes come graphic update haha.

Really wanted to do one of those "outfits in each expansion" things but don't think I have time for that :/ Cosplay for the weekend is still work in progress and I know planning those outfits would take forever, let alone getting any missing pieces farmed.

and just to kinda share where my head's at, my muse for kny hasn't been very high lately, so i'm thinking of changing my muse list in a way that reflects that. i just!! haven't figured out how exactly. i might categorize the lists by fandom and then by primary, secondary, and tertiary/request. i just want to show that my focus is on chiyo/modern muses, fantasy, and even s.piderverse stuff atm but without shoving all my other muses off the list or into the request category. i can definitely still write everybody!! the muse just isn't there like it used to be.

this doesn't affect many people here, but i may also edit chiyo's bio to make her fandomless again; i just don't interact with hq!! muses very often anymore, and her story isn't one that necessarily needs to be connected to hq!! to work.

i apologize if any of this disappoints anybody btw! i know this blog used to be very kny-centered, and a lot of people followed me for that originally. but i need to do what's going to make being here fun for me, which means changing things. if you need to soft/hardblock me, there's no hard feelings, and i wish you the best <3

BROOOOOO i had my mom in the room with the phone on speaker when he said that i'd have to make an appointment through his secretary to talk to him because i knew he'd say some shit and she almost blew our cover by laughing out loud like the man is cartoonishly childish and petty and has been since i was 10 years old and it would be so much funnier if he wasn't emotionally and psychologically and financially abusive to me and my family at every opportunity. like that conversation we're having is about whether he'll pay my tuition for school and he's like. legally required to do that per my parents divorce agreement. but he's gonna be a fucking asshole about it the whole time and going to court is a hassle.

the reason he's making me do that and refused to text or email me back about it is because he's insulted i didn't tell him about school in person and the reason i didn't tell him in person is because the last time i told him in person he told me to email him and was mad that i didn't. and then the next time i looked into school when i just emailed him he got mad that i didn't talk to him in person. so i decided that i'd just email him because then i could cc my mom sister and godmother so other people can see what i said and what his response is.

it's like very transparently a power trip and a way to get me alone to be an asshole but my godfather said he'll come with me to talk to him so jokes on him!!! either his friend sees him be a jerk or he has to be nice to me >:)

anyway sorry for dumping this on you i just do not like that man. i don't consider him my father anymore he's just the guy that sired me. my real dad is my leftist math teacher from secondary school and my oldest sister i grew up with.

also ik some ppl are not the most pleased abt some consistency things like sklonda already being a practicing lawyer but tbh 1) we have no idea how long it takes in brennan's made up fantasy world how long it takes to become a lawyer and 2) it's been several real life years. it's been months since sophomore year but in real life it's been like 4 years. go off i get it king it's not a big deal

have been trying to make more of an effort to use romance-neutral options/language when the option for romance comes up in a mechanical capacity in one of my games/hacks (whether as an actual function in the game, or just 'here's a table of prompts for the tone a dynamic or interaction might have'). i very much want to incorporate the possibility for romance to be A Part of My Games beyond 'idk throw it in during the roleplay i guess' if a player wants that; but i don't want to push people to include romance in games not themed around it if they don't want to, and i don't want them to be excluded from part of the game if a specific romantic dynamic would be a nope.

problem is, 'this option is called a bond: you can choose between romantic, platonic, familial, or Something Else or you can roll to see which you get' has mostly worked pretty well so far! but when feasible and appropriate for the format, i'd like to try to be inclusive of polyam and other more-than-two options, and i can't seem to find a good substitute for 'polycule' without romantic connotations. hm.

Happy 1 year to this wonderful show!

When I decided to start watching this show a few weeks back, I had no idea it would consume my life the way it has. I'm sad I didn't give the show a chance sooner, but I can't describe how excited I am to continue following the story from here and coming on here after every lore video to scream, rant, analyze, and do whatever else I feel like I need to do. This show has given me more creative inspiration than I've had in such a long time, and I'm incredibly grateful for that. Let's all make some more great (and not so great) memories together!
