21st June
Hello! I know I've not posted in a while been really busy with work and partying! 🙋🏽 I've had the results from my blood tests which all came back negative which is great news 😃 they tested for celiac, iron levels and a general health screening. This now means back to the drawing board. I have been taking 2-3 of the peppermint capsules everyday and having peppermint tea when I'm feeling a little extra bloated. These don't really seem to be helping me too much. I have booked in another appointment for the 4th of July to discuss the next steps and if there is anything other medication than the peppermint capsules. I think I'll start doing another food diary from yesterday do take with me and logging my exercise and water intake.

8th June
Got my blood tests tomorrow morning! Getting slightly nervous (not a fan of needles) but it's all good! I've been on the peppermint tablets just under 2 weeks now and haven't seen much difference, at the weekend I went out to eat and had a bit of bread and my stomach still swelled a lot, I do think bread an pasta are the main culprits, but sometimes it feels like dairy can be to blame too! Not sure where we will go from here but I'll inform you all as much as I can!

2nd June - This is my second attempt of overnight oats - I made these on the 31st as I stay at my boyfriends one night a week so have to prep all my food in advance to take to work and they were still good this morning!
Ingredients for this one:
40g oats Mashed up banana Tea spoon of peanut butter 20g scoops of choc protein powder Koko milk Chopped strawberries
Really tasty! Although not feeling on top form today I think I had too much dairy yesterday! Oh well you live and learn!

26th May - Doctor’s Appointment Round One...
So I had my doctors appointment today! I went in prepared for the worst thinking I wouldn’t be able to explain myself the way I wanted to as I tend to get nervous and panic in these situations.
To my surprise it went much better than I hoped! My doctor was very understanding and let me discuss all my symptoms, I showed my food diary, pictures I had taken and discussed how I’ve felt over the years. We went through all these elements and in the first instance it is suggested to be IBS (irritable bowl syndrome). She has prescribed me peppermint oil capsules and to take one tablet three times a day (30 mins before main meals). 
She suggested I book in a blood test, to check my iron levels are normal, check for coeliac disease and various other things. This is booked in for two weeks time. I was also given information on IBS and what are the causes can be, its  very daunting! FODMAP is one of the areas I’m going to research - I’ll let you know my findings.
I know that this isn’t something that will change overnight but I’m willing and ready to give this my all to hopefully discover the best version of myself - to feel fit, healthy and positive! I’m going to start the peppermint oil capsules tomorrow and I will keep you updated of how I’m feeling if there are any changes etc.
