I'm rewatching the 2012 tmnt after I binged rottmnt and I don't know if it's the new fascination with Donnie/Leo twin dynamic talking but I feel like if anyone has a twin dynamic in 2012 tmnt it's Leo and Raph.

They even look the most alike head-shape-wise out of all the turtles and both look older than Donnie and Mikey with their features being a bit sharper.

Both of them also act like older siblings a lot, looking out for their brothers. They're also arguably the closest to one another, despite fighting the most often. (They also repeatedly fight over who should be the leader.) Raph was the most distraught about leaving Leo in the season 1 finale.

Idk they just both have clashing oldest brother energy. Feel free to add for or against my take, I can't form my thoughts properly.

Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated, Transformers Prime, and TMNT (2012), all incredible stories, darker than we've seen those franchises go, and soooo entertaining!!!

God man. I'm rewatching 2012 (again) and like. I genuinely forgot just how funny and silly the first two seasons are. Like I'm only on episode 6 of season one and I've found something to laugh at at every single episode so far. And the way they really focus on every single character is just. *chef kiss*

They were literally simply teenagers man. They were so silly. The trauma bus is gonna hit them so hard and I am scared for them

I woke up depressed today and now I'm happy after watching three episodes like this show is my coping mechanism even if it'll make me sad later geeze

Funniest Tmnt 2012 moments?

"you turned my brother into a plant >:( YOU TURNED HIM INTO A PLAAAANNNNT!!' mikey was in rage mode lmao

the bigfoot episode. "your mama looks like a raisin!" the finger doing that lil dramatic twirl. that whole episode is so funny. bigfoot throwing the whole ass fridge out the window kills me every time

the turtlesub scene is just iconic. the noises and their faces is hilarious to me.

when raph got switched with a kraang mind and then started talking in third person by accident it just makes me laugh for some reason

"we.. got. hit? by a bus? HIT BY A BUS??!!"

can't remember what ep it was but when casey got slimed and was like "its like seeping into my undies bruh" the line delivery makes me scream

when leo fell off the roof and into a beehive. season 1 bants lol

"just call me doctor einstein...-instein!"

when donnie went stupid. that ep lowkey gives me second-hand embarrassment but 'i like french fries' and then the party wagon going full throttle towards him is seriously so funny to me

the episode with april's fake mother with the scene where leo gets trapped in the basement, as he screams out for help it cuts to raph who's just silently watching a flashing image of a pumpkin on the tv. that is unintentionally funny to me like. what was he doing lmao

"the turtles are all italian??"

"we.... don't talk about pigeon pete." the most unnecessary ominous line of all time. when people theorised that leatherhead ate him lmao. their blank stares afterwards, so funny

"is there more talking turtles?" "nope! just me! mr imaginary turtle:)" * cue raph vs slash exploding through the roof*

"i don't give a flying f--" "THANK YOU RAPHAEL!" shoulda let the boy swear. donnie too for that matter

literally any time donnie is screaming. rob paulsen had BILLS to pay, man. donnie screaming with unfiltered rage was the best. TEN BILLION SCREAMING NIGHTMARES

me when i claw at the walls of my enclosure screeching about how the 2012 tmnt writers could have given raph so much more character development especially in seasons 1 and 2 but they decided to spend it on their Favorite Blue Guy who gets so so much attention and gets a great and established character shape/archetype with complexity and depth
