AU Where actor Evan Buckley has finally broken out of his typecast of being the boy-next-door Love Interest in low budget romcoms and gotten a role as a firefighter in a movie/show (could even be Hotshots lol) and is sent to shadow some real firefighters as research for his role

He’s fascinated by it and loving every minute - if only he could understand why Firefighter Kinard seems to dislike him so much 😔 Especially since he seems really ✨cool✨ (and his hands are so big…)

Meanwhile still a little closeted and repressed Tommy is desperately trying to keep a lid on it but Blorbo from his romantic comedies is RIGHT THERE and looking at him with those big sad puppy dog eyes

i discovered that the d&d campaign i am in has no plot relevant religions so the DM didn't write any for their world (as far as i know). while i already have a god my character worships entirely built out with a constellation of other ideas for related gods.

Hi I had a thought about love corner magical boy au

If VR-LA never became a magical boy, he probably would've ended up with MR-SN first still but it would've taken longer to get with Maxim

MR-SN would've probably invited him out more often without Emi and they probably would've had a drunken incident™ that would've resulted in both waking up confused in a blanket nest on the floor, MR-SN's hand up VR-LA's shirt (still fully unconscious)

And presumably they just. Don't communicate. MR-SN thinks they're dating for like a month before VR-LA asks if they're dating. MR-SN is just like "yeah I got my boyfriend in a dumb way :] but it's nice and I love him. I'm gonna make him so many breakfasts someday" while VR-LA is like "I keep kissing MR-SN but does he like me?? Does he want to date?? Or does he just. Like. Want y'know?? I don't think I'd want that"

And then eventually somebody says Maxim is hot and they've learned their mistake so they communicate that time

None zero chance Maxim says no the first time and then a few weeks later is like "...actually is the offer still up" cuz he's iffy on MR-SN without events to draw them together

oOoo inchresting inchresting ... very curious about how maxim and mr sn would interact with each other in a world where they don't think the other is vr las abusive boyfriend lmao- I am imagining though mr sn bringing it up with vr la being like sooo... whad'ya see in that maxim guy, huh? and vr la being like what he's just my boss wdym ?? and mr sn just goes ah cool cool so you aren't dating? anyways wanna come out to dinner with me and then come back to my place and maybe get drunk and spend the night? and vr la somehow takes this completely platonically and doesn't realize they're dating until at minimum *weeks* later. amazing <3 also vr la being able to pick up that mr sn might want to have sex with him but *not* being able to tell if he likes him romantically and in fact believes them to be dating is *extremely* funny to me, I love it <3 also hell yeah this means maxim gets to be love ambushed by the other two 💥💥💥 that's my favorite <3

do you think tsubasa could create some machines that could help accommodate him? as long as she was able to target the most major sensory issues he’d probably at least be a bit more comfortable. you’d probably have to ask him more about the specifics of his disorder first though

I'll have to see if that's something Tsubasa would be willing to do first, much less make it.

Alternate first meeting where the 118 responds to a LAFD helicopter crash and it’s bad. The pilot is most likely not going to make it, and Hen, Chim & Bobby all know him. He’s the guy Buck replaced.

Tommy Kinard, pinned, bleeding too quickly and heavily concussed- still knows how bad his situation is. He’s written himself off. He’s going to die. He asks about the safety of his passengers and apologises for the inconvenience of the crash. Maybe he’s a little loopy from blood loss.

He looks up at the firefighter working to free him from the twisted metal and says something like “Wow, you’re gorgeous. I’d love to take you on a date if I wasn’t about to die”

This startles a laugh out of Buck, who finally manages to get him free and hooks his pinkie around Tommy’s and squeezes tight, promising if Tommy pulls through they’ll go on the best damn date ever.

Of course Tommy has a miraculous recovery and he has no real intention of holding his rescuer to the promise- but Evan Buckley (who has always considered himself straight) is taking this one hundred percent seriously. Its a sign and he is not messing with the magic of the pinkie-swear and yeah maybe the guy is really hot and makes his tummy a bit swoopy but thats normal right
