Tumblr media
Education is the key to unlocking a child's potential and setting the foundation for their future success. While teachers play a vital role in shaping young minds, educational assistants are unsung heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes, providing invaluable support to both students and educators alike. In this blog post, we delve into why being an educational assistant is such a rewarding profession. 1. Making a Difference in Students' Lives: As an educational assistant, you have the opportunity to directly impact students' lives on a daily basis. Whether it is working with students who have special needs or those requiring extra support, your presence can make all the difference in helping them overcome challenges and achieve academic success. Witnessing their growth and progress firsthand is immensely fulfilling. 2. Building Strong Relationships: Educational assistants often work closely with individual students or small groups, allowing for more personalized attention and fostering strong relationships. This close connection enables assistants to understand each student's unique learning style, strengths, weaknesses, and interests. By building rapport, trust, and understanding, educational assistants can not only provide academic assistance but also serve as mentors and confidants. 3. Collaborating with Teachers: Collaboration is at the heart of successful education environments. As an educational assistant, you work alongside teachers to develop lesson plans, create engaging activities, and implement strategies tailored to meet each student's needs effectively. This collaborative approach ensures that students receive comprehensive support while gaining insights from experienced professionals. 4. Constant Learning Opportunities: Being an educational assistant exposes you to various teaching methodologies and diverse classroom settings. You learn about different learning styles and adapt your approach accordingly to accommodate every student's requirements effectively. Additionally, you gain valuable knowledge about specific subjects or areas of expertise through continued professional development opportunities offered by schools or districts. 5. Job Satisfaction: Few things can compare to the sense of fulfillment derived from knowing that you have made a positive impact on the lives of students. Whether it's witnessing a struggling student finally grasp a difficult concept or seeing their confidence soar as they conquer challenges, these moments bring immense joy and job satisfaction. The gratitude expressed by both students and their families further reinforces the value of your contributions. 6. Career Growth and Opportunities: The role of an educational assistant can serve as a stepping stone to various career paths within the education sector. With experience, you may choose to pursue further education or certifications to become a teacher, special education coordinator, or even move into administrative roles. The skills and knowledge gained as an educational assistant provide a solid foundation for long-term professional growth. Being an educational assistant is not just another job; it is a rewarding profession filled with meaningful experiences. From impacting students' lives and building strong relationships to collaborating with educators and constantly learning, this role offers personal fulfillment and opportunities for growth. If you have a passion for helping others learn and grow, being an educational assistant could be the perfect path for you!

For the requests post: w-winged au please... I'm forever obsessed with winged characters and it's always fun to play around with how wings match their personality/story
Like how Neuvilette probably has bat wings and that's extremely uncommon among humans but everyone in Fontaine is like 'hm, strange, but I guess it's a Iudex thing'
Or how Wrio has quite strong wings but never properly preens them until Sige or Neuv come around and help him
Also I'm thinking about Childe and how his wings look almost normal until it's mildly dark around and you see that they actually glow beneath the feathers in a Wrong Kind Of Purple light
Anyway, thanks for your time!!

[Ja'Marr] credit Joe for teaching him how to watch film. And I had Ja'Marr watching film since 8th grade, but I guess I didn't know what I was talking about... so when he gets to LSU, I was like 'boy, how you know how to do that, Ja'Marr, where you learnt that from?' He said, 'Oh, Joe showed me how to watch film, so I'm watching film with him.' I'm like, 'Joe showed you how to watch film? What was I doing when I was showing you how to watch film?'

yes, the consequences of ai in academia can be devastating and we should be concerned about it. but you know what else we should be concerned about? the impact of the overt suspicion and paranoia against students just trying to get through their degrees to survive in this world
you think scrutinising students and trying to decipher who has and hasn’t used ai will be done without bias or prejudice? you think international students won’t be flagged for using “too formal/static” language because that’s how they learned english? you think poc, disabled or other minorities that are often belittled won’t be unjustly flagged for sounding “smarter than they are”? you think lower-class students will be unaffected by having to spend extra time and resources to show up at meetings to prove they haven’t used ai?
it’s never going to be a fair and proportionate impact when we focus all our energy on “catching” the bad ones
conversations around ai should always acknowledge and emphasise the safety of students and people, we cannot become hyper vigilant unpaid police who try to point out who’s “fake” with no regard to how subconscious biases affect the direction of your finger

Hellu here with the idea of creator!melusine able to work with the hydro element and childe/foul legacy (and neuvi) showing them all the neat tricks?
*eats your idea in one bite* mmmm delicious and tasty :)
perhaps you're not even given a Hydro Vision- instead you have innate control over the waters of the Primordial Sea. in a way it makes sense, the waters being the oldest and most connected to the Creator, but you're still understandably a little spooked when parts of Fontaine's ocean begins bending to your will. Foul Legacy is absolutely ecstatic, however, chittering happily and gently cupping your mittens in his claws. your siblings curiously peek over your shoulders, oohing and aahing as they watch sparkling water form tiny shapes in your hands before dissolving again- you're just like their sister Sigewinne! except, you don't have a Hydro Vision, but you can control the water all the same!
Legacy admittedly wants to teach you how to fight as soon as he can, but Neuvillette lightly flicks him on the forehead with a frown, met with reluctant grumbles. they can both teach you, but first and foremost Neuvillette wants you to know basic control. he makes sure you never get overwhelmed, helping you learn and tempering the waves with his own power as the Hydro Sovereign if anything begins to get out of hand. when he's not here, Foul Legacy secretly teaches you how to make more complex shapes with the droplets, starting from a perfect sphere and moving your way up to eventual weapons- he WILL teach you how to fight with Hydro eventually, it's best to get an early start! although, his favorite thing to do is helping you make a tiny narwhal out of water, the miniature beast swimming around your antennae and Legacy's horns as he trills in delight

Nahida shook her head in disappointment.
"Your society is so accustomed to thinking in the narrow framework of black and white that very few people ever try to look deeper, to see more colors. You give labels so easily that you don't even care if a person really deserves them."
"And what is undeserved about it?" Yaoyorozu asks cautiously. "We go to hero school and we will be Heroes. If a person breaks the law, then he is a Villain."
Nahida frowns and looks around the classroom, watching as the students nod in agreement with the girl's statement. Except for Teyvat's students, of course.
"True wisdom is to be able to ask questions, both to the world and to oneself. Is it really possible to call a mother a Villain who is forced to steal food for her starving child? Does a man who bullies his own family behind closed doors deserve to be called a Hero?"
The students shifted uncomfortably in their seats. Iida's screams that "A hero would never do anything like this!!" flew past Wanderer's ears, but a sharp eye caught the expression of understanding on a couple of faces.
Nahida clapped her hands, asking for silence in the classroom. The servant was able to arrange a couple of lessons with the Director, so they need to manage their time wisely.
"Heroes or Villains - this does not negate the fact that they are people, and people are very complex. And the world around us is much more complicated than it might seem at first glance. So! I've come up with a riddle for you! The ability to find the truth is very important, especially if you are going to be involved in an investigation in the future." Nahida leans conspiratorially over the table, as if preparing to share a secret. "Emotions guide people, strong and weak, they push them to take action. Understanding emotions helps us understand ourselves and other people. A true Hero can be driven to action by love and affection, responsibility, and the need to protect. But emotions can also cause pain. So tell me, future Heroes, what is the opposite of love? What can hurt more than any blow and has no limit?"
Wanderer snorted, watching the students whisper to each other and shout out predictable answers. Buer had asked him a similar question a long time ago, and even then he knew the answer.
When you want to be happy, you're not looking for something that will make you happy, but something that will captivate you. The opposite of happiness is not sadness, but boredom.
If, having lost love, you try to get at least some emotions from a person, then indifference hurts much more than hatred.

On the stage will always be so dear to me... it just perfectly encapsulates why art still exists in the world of alien stage for humans even if the world is majorly different from ours, there are still people who crave to create and people who find power in it, even in such hopeless situations just that is enough to make you feel like life is liveable
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Asking "Why do you like singing?" was probably Luka's mini assignment- because HyunA is very different from him, so he tries to learn about humans because of her, because, as far as he knows, he is simply doing what he's told. When the whole point of this process is to rid them of their choice and to train humans to be performers strictly for the alien's entertainment, where is the love in that? But it's humans who make music and passion their own, and in that, genuine drive is what HyunA finds in reclaiming her agency through her passions because the music is hers, even if the aliens can slap a price on it. Her voice belongs to her soul at the end of the day, that's why she uses her music to uplift others, because if she can use it for a purpose she looks up to, then her life, her aspirations, her voice don't simply belong to the aliens, they're hers... It's kinda hopeful but admirable how humans find motivation and power in situations like that, and we see how she keeps that train of thought even in her adulthood and escapes Alien stage, even then, she's making music
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This might be her and Luka's biggest parallel, the way they find agency in music, even though it seems twisted, just out of their reach, what they do on stage is still their own (Luka gives off huge Justin Bieber in this frame) Luka lives by these words and finds in her perspective how to feel in control, when every other part of his life is planned out for him and controlled, the stage was "his little playground" the power was his to own in that way

Wriothesley is so husband shaped; those big shoulders for sleeping on snuggled in bed, thick forearms to bite when he’s fucking you down into the mattress, capable hands for kneading dough when you don’t want to, beautiful kind eyes that are the first thing you see in the morning, big wide hairy chest for leaning on in the bath, such a strong back for hoisting furniture around when you want to change the sitting room around, legs heavy and wide enough to sit on as you arrange flowers you’d both bought from the farmers market, fingers weathered from work and age sitting pretty between your thighs.
