By contrast, the putting it on, inserting it into, and eating actions are not specified to apply to a carried thing: they perform an implicit taking attempt during their check rules, or may perform one in the eating action's case. [...] [T]he primacy of the carrying requirements rule [means] that numerous actions for which a better response would be an error regarding absurdity instead [attempt] an implicit take, e.g., if the moon is a backdrop, put moon in me would attempt to take the moon and dryly reply: "That's hardly portable."
—Proposals for the evolution of Inform E-0015: World model enforcement, subsection "Implicit taking"
While a discussion of the particulars and motivations of this proposed set of bug fixes is beyond the scope of a Tumblr post, I thought this blog's followership might appreciate the fact that, in Inform's present implementation, attempting to stick the Moon up your butt fails solely because the "inserting it into" action generates an implicit "take" action during its setup, and scenery objects are not valid targets for "take".

ArtFight attack on @frogcroaks :D
I told you I wanted to draw them on Twitter, and here they are indeed!
These designs were immediate favorites when you posted them. When you mentioned Nekomata liked soft drinks, my immediate thoughts went to the numerous vending machines in the streets of many Japanese cities and towns... So this little scene, with Bakeneko holding such a drink and Nekomata wanting a sip, quickly manifested itself in my mind.
It was the occasion to practice perspective and urban backgrounds. I also tested out my new grey fineliners, but unfortunately, the scanner doesn't really like them much (the black ones are processed just fine), so I had to overlay the sketch I had scanned earlier.
I messed up the character perspective, though. I know Nekomata looks smaller here, even though they're taller than Bakeneko :(
I hope you'll like this!

I just noticed something about Axis' Genocide fight.
Pay close attention to the SOUL in the menu here.
Beginning of the fight. Pretty normal stuff.
Midway through the fight. It's twitching a little bit and leaving a trail behind it...?
Right before the last attack. You can hardly even tell what it is anymore.
Clover's SOUL speed is increasing in the menu. Because their attacks aren't doing anything, and they're getting impatient.
The devs' attention to detail will NEVER fail to blow me away. This is such a miniscule addition that's SO easy to miss, and yet it adds SO much to their character and the tension of the situation. This game is fucking amazing
