i spent so long on this,, this is with a pencil, an ink pen, a purple ink pen, some alcohol markers for shading and a purple alcohol marker, a pastel purple highlighter, and some prismacolors 💜

Back in March, I took some "experimental" commissions, where I charged little for a drawing that I'd try something new with. The time spent on the drawing was supposed reflect what the commissioner paid... but I got carried away with just about all of these. The traditional ones (last 3) were easier to sorta reel in, keep control over the time spent, but with digital stuff... I'm still getting used to it, so I'm not sure how to make a digital drawing quickly, and still have it look decent.

There's two more to this batch of commissions I haven't shared - I think I'll put them in separate posts. >:)

Conflict and Hidden Depths

Back home I was gifted a pen proof sketch album and alcohol markers, which made me test out markers for the first time in my life, and go back k to using the pens and brushes I already had. I don’t tend to do traditional, but I feel like it was a nice comeback to it and had a lot of fun.

Especially with this piece, which I actually had another wip on my phone dated back to 2021(!). I entertained the concept of how the rivalry and antagonism of Nagito and Hajime’s relationship, combined with their forgotten but existing experiences of despair. The only thing I wish I did differently was actually show the Junko hand. But I’m also proud of myself of completing this piece one way or the other, and for how it looks.

OC-tober Day 15: Bravest OC

Blixer. Definitely Blixer. You have to be pretty brave to decide to break into the most heavily guarded City, get to the center without being killed, and corrupt the Tree of Purity. He pulled it off despite being drunk, having an injured shoulder, and only a single gun with 6 rounds.

I referenced this pose, there's no way I could do that perspective/foreshortening without a reference (I'm including the sketch with this one because I kinda like how it looked before I added his clothes better)

Still a day behind, I didn't have time to get caught up today. Maybe I will tomorrow (probably not)

Lilith Mortis | Hellven

One of the earliest designs for Lilith's male body, clothes wise. I ended up changing everything in the later versions to fit a more "scanty" appearance.
