started doing hot yoga this week on a whim because bpd was like time to Reinvent Yourself, what can we make our new identity this month? well, it's hot yoga. but honestly, i actually love it so much. having a wonderful time. i signed up for a ten day intro offer, but definitely going to keep doing it after. also ideal for me who perpetually runs cold. it's so WARM in there. like a blanket

I did a CPR certification class yesterday at work (my first ever) and my conclusion is that if someone drops dead in front of me, they're probably gonna stay dead because I am so. bad. at it. I'm just not strong enough lol. I have real trouble delivering the compressions at a consistent high quality and going deep enough. Good news is that if this ever does happen to me, they're already dead, so there's not much WORSE I could do for the situation.

Anyway the more insulting part of this is that I literally bruised my hand doing it, so I was going at it hard enough to hurt myself but not hard enough to actually save a person LMAO

hm. thinking about Geralt, Eskel and Lambert watching Vesemir doting on Ciri like the granddaughter he never had, going easy on her during her training when she asks for it politely, making a show of lecturing her when she's being mouthy when it's obvious to everyone he's already forgiven her. Lifting her off her feet and spinning her around when he sees her again for the first time in years. And all the while Vesemir's sons in every way except blood are watching and watching and thinking, so you were capable of being affectionate and considerate and a decent fucking human being all this time. You just chose not to be this man with us.

today I finished the last section of material for the course I'm taking! I have 7 weeks until the exam, which sounds like a lot of time but there is so much information to retain. this is the part where I'm going to have to really commit and stay disciplined if I want to balance this with working full-time. here we go!

today's productivity:

wrote 3k words for camp nanowrimo
