The latest surface expedition came back yesterday. I wanted to share a few things they found while up there. if any of you are interested.

It worked (continued)

A few hours ago, Wheeljack called me back to his lab. Apparently, the matrix had interrupted his work by resurrecting one of the cell phone creatures from earlier. We injured it, then Jack put the matrix close to the critter to “try” something. It healed it. We then put it down for good, but it gave me the idea to use it to save Ms. Doorman’s life.

It worked, like I said, but...

I'll put it this way. She was a Worker Drone before.

Now imagine a fusion between a Worker Drone and a Heavy Drone [[AN: basically a cogless miner from One]].

Now imagine that with bits of a car placed at points around her limbs and torso, and jet wings sticking out her back.

That's what she looks like now. 

Khan’s not happy, nor is Dr. Ratchet. He has no idea what Uzi has become, and had handed the DDs over to Prowl to begin interrogation. The matrix will be put away until we start to figure out what it has done, what I have done to Uzi.

That’s… disturbing.

A few days after The Flash happened. Almost everything in this is right, except the claim that the effects of N2 mines were unforeseen; I’ve seen pre-war papers made by military scientists warning of a “saffron cloud” plunging the earth into a new ice age if those things were used en masse. Of course, the president either didn't get the memo, or straight-up ignored it.

I can’t imagine what anyone hearing this was going through. Must’ve sucked ass.

If it brings any comfort, a good chunk of the population was already dead from the exchange. The people in Cincinnati, for example.

That’s close by, right? Maybe the field trip will be visiting the ruins!

Madam, there’s nothing but a crater where downtown used to be. And the rest of the city was flattened by almost a dozen N2 mine airbursts. There’s nothing to explore.

Maybe Taylor Mill or even downtown Covington would be a better match for whatever you think the prize is. There’s at least something left there.

Yep. And we don’t even know if the prize IS treasure hunting in the ruins of man’s hubris. Or if we’ll get it.

I’m not sure what it is. Some kind of device? A power source? It was found in an abandoned tech firm between Fort Wright and Covington, and there was a murder drone guarding the place, so it has to have had some importance.

usually i don’t base character connections directly by hair colour but the first time i watched the promised neverland i went, “wow, ray looks a lot like isabella and has black hair i wonder if she’s actually his mom” and then more of isabella’s backstory unfolded and it said that she really did have a kid and that it was ray and i went “oh, i cannot believe i predicted that”
