just finished re-watching asoue on netflix, and hoLY SHIT JOYCE/JACQUELINE ROBBINS IS IN THIS SHOW-

i mean- that has to be her right? Theres no other way. Either way, she looks like one of the robbins twins and im hyped.

For the final "S1 only Biddies" post (will not cover BJ Harrison at this time since she and Dianne Adams are meant to play the same character), we have Joyce Robbins.

I noticed her rad sunglasses in the Tarim, but she's also rocking them in 1x2, when waiting for the President to arrive!

For more than a couple of the middle stretch of episodes, she seemed to be paired with BJ Harrison a lot, either next to each other, or in the front of the formation, flanking Alder.

Of the Biddy actors, Joyce Robbins might be the most recognizable to the audience. She's played many a noticeable Kooky Biddy in her career, including The Wicker Man, Psych, Charmed, Schmigadoon, and especially 19 eps of A Series of Unfortunate Events. She often pairs with her twin sister Jacqueline Robbins for maximum Creepy Biddies effect. Now there's a thought, Alder rocking sibling or even twin Biddies.

(Huh, since MFS is matrilineal, "seventh son of a seventh son" is obviously not a concept that fits with them, but would a seventh daughter of a seventh daughter get any kind of boost? If they still use charms and sigils and potions, what role does numerology play in MFS magic?)

Now, Robbins is a surname that would fit in very well into MFS. It evolved in Scotland in the Middle Ages, just like the surname Alder!

Oh and I didn’t even talk about the Crazy8s Gala on Saturday!

I really enjoyed it!! The films were so high quality??? I didn’t expect them to be so polished and powerful! Hard to even pick a favourite they were all so good in different ways. Fantastic work from all the cast and crew (I even recognized a bunch of people in the credits and BTS, hihi).

And a personal bonus highlight of the evening was meeting these lovely twins, who some of you maybe have seen in “A Series of Unfortunate Events”! They were just so delightful and cute. :)))

The After Party wasn’t really my cup of tea though, too crowded and in true film people fashion everyone threw themselves at the little bit of food that was offered like starving hyenas. *shudder*

The music was pretty sweet though! I might have stayed for that, but I just had sensory overload from all the people and wanted to get out of there.
