My review: Bumped up to 4.5 stars because the ending had me reaching for the tissues. Written with kindness and love, I thought this was a wonderful family drama. A secret kept for years competes with many new family revelations as a family grieves for a loss, and I was really impressed with this debut novel. I’ve already got another book from the author because I enjoyed this one so much. Good job!

I don’t recommend it but I do recommend the first Magic Mike bc there’s an actual story. I also watched The Last Skywalker on the plane but I fell asleep during it so I’ll have to watch it again! what’s the worst injury you’ve ever had ? luckily for me, I don’t injure myself very much? worst I think was a sprained ankle that I got when my sandal slid underfoot on a very dusty hill, circa 2014. do you have any obsessions right now ? that’s not Dragon Age...? not really.

do you tend to hold grudges against people who have done you wrong? I’d love to say no but that’s a lie. that said, it takes a lot of general “everything went wrong” for me to consistently hold a grudge, and the number of people who meet that criteria can be counted on one hand
