The same hunger sends us to prayer and sugar and sweetener and text: the rush of comfort that comes from quick taste, the body suddenly filled with a sensation beyond itself—foreign and seductive.

Good morning, Jamison, I have come to give you coffee headcanons because I was up all night and am currently surviving off of monster energy and coffee.
Medic - He will deny it, but he dumps in copious amounts of creamer and sugar, he likes it sweet!
Scout - Bonk! Energy, no coffee.
Sniper - Black coffee, he can't add anything when in his snipers nest, so he's grown used to it.
Heavy - I feel like he either doesn't need it, or drinks caffinated(auto correct failed me) tea.
Demoman - Scrumpy, with a dash of coffee.
Soldier - Black coffee (the American way! /j).
Pyro - Dumps in so much creamer and sugar that it hardly classifies as coffee anymore (if Starbucks existed in the 60's, then Unicorn Frappe).
Engie - Just 2 or 3 teaspoons of sugar, maybe more if he feels like it.
Spy - He has that multi step espresso machine, all the fancy tools, spends an hour making his little cup of coffee. If he's too tired, then caffinated tea.
(I feel like I'm forgetting someone, but it could be my brain not working cause tired)
You got all the mercs in there don't worry!
And you got all these headcanons right too! I love these. They're so good❗️

My heart is chained to yours; a Junkrat and Roadhog fanfiction
Chapter 8
Preview
Running over as fast as possible, I slid just to the porch like how a race car drifts a corner, kicking up a cloud of dust behind me. Walking in I take off my shoes and just stand at the door awkwardly.
"Sit down Jamison, I'm just fixing you up a bowl"
The table is wide and tall with steep chairs to accommodate Mako’s big size. I’m practically a little kid who was finally allowed to sit at the adult table instead of the high chair.
"S-so um, Mako what's for grub?"
Pouring something into a bowl, his big hands handling everything with care. His expression focused, he must've put a shit ton of effort into this meal. When Mako is finished filling the bowl, he walks over to me and places the bowl down. With his big frame looming over me I can feel my mouth getting dry, my heart racing as he draws closer. My soul carnally craves every fiber of his being all over me.
"Want anything to drink?"
"U-uh yeah, water is fine."
I look into the bowl, stew? Swirling my finger into the mixture and taste it.
"O-oh fuck."
"What? Is something wrong?"
"THIS IS SO FUCKING GOOD WHAT THE FUCK!!!!"
Standing from my oversized chair to look inside the bowl, eyes fixated, unable to comprehend the hot soothing sensation in my mouth. Mako slides over my cup of water while placing a bun in the stew.
"WHAT IS THIS!?"
"Use your inside voice and sit down then I'll tell you. Also, your spoon is right there, use it."
Seated in my chair, desperately needing the knowledge on why this stew is so good!!!
"Want me to get you some pillows to sit on or something? You look quite small."
"Yeah, sure."
Before I could say anything, he already got 2 pillows. Rinsing only my butt to let him put the pillows down, the smell of Mako’s cologne overwhelms my senses. Next thing I know my hand on his head, running my fingers through his soft silver hair.
"J-Jamison…you’re um…"
“...Mako!!! I-i um, I’m sorry!!! I was in a haze then suddenly-”
“Pfft it’s fine, just caught me by surprise. A warning next time would be nice.”
"Well um, your hair is soft. What hair products do you use?"
He stands up and looks away blushing under his mask.
"Just… whatever is on clearance."
Sitting across from each other, the table and chairs don't affect Mako’s size. Looks like an average person, he must've got these custom or something.
"So what's in the stew?"
"I had some leftover tofu and I made some stew out of it. Threw in celery, carrots, peas, basil, brown sugar and simmered it on low heat for the day."
"Wait, you're vegan?"
"Not exactly, just went through a vegan phase. B-but I try to find meat that is ethically sourced but sometimes I get some fast food or buy a steak from the grocery store that's on sale."
"Hmmm."
The need to keep devouring my stew is overtaking me, it's so fucking amazing!!! It's like how in the movies, mothers make heartwarming meals. My entire body feels warmed, has Mako always been such a good cook?
"So Jamison, how do you see our relationship?"
With a dazed expression, I perk up from my dinner.

Happy holidays, here’s Mr Cartoony-Villain himself, Roderick, being shipped with Thorne Jamison because we love to see that here.
I don’t remember if Donald’s kids have names, so I’m just making them up for this since they’re mentioned and whatnot.
On with the fic!
--
Roderick was man of strategy, of plans, always willing to change and fix them in just a moment’s time if was any issue to complicate things for him. He liked order, and he likes things done in a way that worked for him.
However, that could not be said about his love life, at least in recent months.
There was a chaotic flare to things since he decided to give dating a chance. It would be a bit cliche that Roderick had a change of heart since the events of last December, when he realized that, well, he was a bit of a stuck-up asshole, but it was true. In a sense. And so, taking a page from his twin’s book, he decided to do something he hadn’t done since he was a little boy.
Defy his father’s expectations of him, and not for the positive.
Well, at least not for the positive for his father, for himself, it was good.
He had met someone, at a benefit event in spring. A musical event, with different genres and such. Roderick was representing classical music, orchestras and the like, and while at the party they were hosting for the participants and VIPs, he ran into a man he had never expected to even say three words to in his life.
He had met Thorne Jamison, a punk rocker who was going to be performing that night with his band. They had met near the punch bowl, where Roderick caught the man trying to spike the drink. He had moved to lecture Thorne, but the man looked so excited to be approached by Roderick, which caught him off-guard.
Apparently, the man liked his work, which was odd, but not unusual. After all, rock and roll in its many forms was based on the beats of classical music, and apparently he was excited to talk about that with Roderick.
Somehow, they spent the party and the after party talking, from music to fashion, to just about anything that came to mind.
Two months later, through phone calls and e-mails, they somehow started to date.
Dating wasn’t anything new to Roderick, he had been in relationships before, but with women, and mainly because he thought it was what was expected of him. His father was... very strict, old fashioned, and would be greatly bothered and disappointed if he ever knew that his beloved, favorite son was actually gayer than musical theater.
He hadn’t told anyone this before, and his relationship with Thorne was kept quiet, under wraps. Any tabloids that saw the two together either didn’t know who the other was (depending on who they were reporting on), or assumed it was a musical project they were working on, which was the excuse the two went with if approached.
But after months and months, Roderick decided he was tired of hiding, and decided the best way to go about revealing the truth to his family was at his brother’s home, who was hosting a little Christmas dinner/ get together.
“Rod.” Thorne’s voice caught the man’s attention and he glanced away from the road he was driving down, seeing Thorne looking at him. “If you were any tenser, I’d literally see cracks formin’ in your skin. It’s gonna be okay.”
“I... you have not met my father, Thorne.” Roderick said, trying to make himself relax, easier said than done. “He is a very strict man, very easy to disappoint, and he will tell you this to your face. There will be no sugar coating those words.”
“I’m sure he will understand after a while.”
Roderick made a noise in his throat and pulled up in front of a home, decked out for the festive season. “I don’t know. But... try to be nice, behave yourself, I know how you can be.”
Thorne smirked. “Oh, you love how I can be.”
The conductor blushed deeply and turned off the car. “None of that, Thorne. Let’s get inside.”
They got out of the car and approached the door, knocking on it. A moment later, the door opened and Roderick saw his twin standing there, grinning, dressed in the ugliest holiday sweater he had ever seen, fitting for Donald. In his arms was one of the twins, and Roderick smiled just a little.
“There you are!” Donald greeted. “Was wondering if you got lost!”
“No, just a bit of traffic, but we’re here now. Donald, this is my plus one, Thorne. Thorne, this is my twin brother, Donald.”
Thorne grinned, holding out a hand and taking Donald’s free one. “Nice to meet ya, your brother’s told me all about you!”
“Hopefully he said nice things, but that’s asking for too much.” Donald laughed. “Lovely to meet you, Thorne. Come in, come in, make yourselves at home!”
Thorne went in first before Roderick stepped inside, moving to remove his coat and boots, but he felt a hand on his arm. He looked at his brother, who waited to speak when Thorne stepped out of the door way and into the living room, where Roderick could hear his sister-in-law greet the man.
“Soooo... this is your ‘friend’, eh?” Donald said quietly, knowingly.
Roderick blinked, stunned. “H-how did you-?”
“Roderick, please, I’m your brother, I’ve know since we were teenager. No other boy in class looked at some of the school’s football team like you did.”
The other twin stammered and punched Donald in the arm, who laughed. “Okay, I deserved that, but good for you! Is he nice?”
“He’s a rambunctious idiot who sometimes can’t even remember his own name.” Roderick scoffed. “He makes me happy.”
“And that’s what matters.” Donald smiled, before holding up the baby. “Look, Ryan, it’s your uncle Roderick!”
Roderick took Ryan, smiling at the little boy. “Where’s Dylan?”
“Hopefully not being influenced by Desmond.” Donald sighed.
“Who?”
“My friend, the one that-”
Roderick winced, remembering the obnoxious man-child who had kissed him last year. “Oh, that man. Please make sure your sons do not turn out to be like him.”
“Trust me, I’m making sure of that. Come on, time to get comfortable before Dad shows up.”
That wouldn’t be for another twenty minutes, when Mr. Peterson showed up, already in a bit of a mood due to the weather. Yes, he had calmed down a tiny bit since last year, but he was still a thorn in the twins’ sides. He was happy to see his grandchildren and his sons, but he automatically disapproved of Thorne. It was probably the guy-liner and the piercings, Thorne might have dressed nicer than he normally did, but he had a style he liked to keep, no matter what.
Roderick had introduced his boyfriend to his father, though didn’t call him that. He had said that they were friends through the music industry and such, but Mr. Peterson looked on with disapproval.
“Really, Roderick, I’d have expected better of you. You are friends with the high class, not with men who make music in a garage.”
“Oi.” Thorne pouted. “I haven’t done that since I was sixteen.”
“Uh, look at the time...!” Donald spoke up. “It’s time for dinner!”
The older twin watched as the rest of the family and their guests made their way to the dining room, leaving him and Thorne alone for a moment. He looked at his boyfriend before adjusting his glasses, frowning. “I’m not... I don’t believe I’m ready to reveal to him the truth.”
“I get that.” Thorne said, slipping his hands into his pockets, looking a bit more relaxed than he had moments ago. “We can wait a bit, maybe when he realizes that I’m not gonna just be shaken off so easily by a few insults.”
Roderick smiled, looked around real quick, before giving him a quick kiss. “Thank you, and please, don’t try to start any fights with him.”
“With him? Nah. But I might cause some trouble just for shits and giggles.”
“Oh, please don’t...”

◈   @ovcrwctch said:   ❛ "Oh you're gonna love this, your Majesty! It's called ice cream 'n it cools you down from the inside! It's bloody sweet too, they get sugar so easily!" He pulls out two choc-ices from the mini freezer he had precariously balanced on a stack of boxes of ramen. Handing one to her, he unwraps part of his and bites into it to demonstrate how to eat it. ❜
Odessa Stone no longer recognised herself.
Opportunity had a price, and this one came at the cost of declawing, her rotting fangs removed root and crown.  Curative, they called it.  To Dez, it was jiggery-pokery.  It was sanitisation, an attempt at making her a less bitter pill.  They carved pieces off her body, decrying them as cancerous.  Teeth that had cracked or scattered like pennies in the pits of Junkertown were replaced, their enamel gleaming like perfect little pearls.  Perforated eardrums were repaired.  Now, she was so clean her skin felt raw.  Everything about her hummed, suddenly hypersensitive.
These people were not her kith or kin – they were peculiar sorts, inward-facing and soft.  Muscles were cultivated in gyms rather than forged by graft.  They all looked at her like she was something prehistoric, a creature that ought to be kept behind bars, or observed at a distance.  Junkers were nothing but barbarians to them, little more than omnic-slaying savages.  Unwashed, unrelatable.  How unfair.  How horridly unfair.  Children were dying in Australia’s irradiated heart, while people here lived quietly, indulgently, glued to their devices, their lives all panna cotta and pedicures.
Okay, so perhaps she wasn’t being entirely fair either.
It didn’t change the fact that she was glad to see a familiar face, even if it was attached to a man she would have – at one time – happily hanged.  Jamison still called her by her royal title, even though the crown now rested on the head of another.  Nobody reigned forever, but Odessa wasn’t about to correct him.
“What?  Really?”  In the small, cluttered space of Jamison’s quarters, her voice was loud, abrasive, as unapologetic as her sprawling form.  The whine of chronic tinnitus had been silenced, but a lifetime of habit and necessity was not so easily quashed.
Dubious, Odessa took the package, and turned it over in her hands.  Perfectly packaged, strangely sterile.  Her hesitation stretched, threatening to become outright reluctance.  Sombra had deceived her once, serving something so spicy that Odessa had felt like she had swallowed a glowing coal, like she couldn’t breathe – but then she saw Jamison bite into his bar.
Cautiously, with her cherry-red eyes narrowed in suspicion, squinting against the clinical gleam of the facility, she followed his lead.  Sweetness chased the scowl from her features, neurons firing their approval in a flood of dopamine.  The first mouthful was followed by another, too quick, too greedy, that dazzling cold biting into the roof of her mouth, an ache suddenly radiating from somewhere behind her eyes.  Odessa chewed in a feverish, resource-hogging way that was common among the Junkers, the heel of a hand pressed against her temple as she powered through the unexpected pain.
“What?”

⸻ ARIANA GRANDE. SHE / HER / have you ever heard of GETTING NOWHERE FAST by girls at our best, well, it describes JAMISON "JAMIE" RIZZOLI to a tee! the thirty year old, and MORTICIAN was spotted browsing through the stalls at portobello road market last sunday, do you know them? would you say SHE is more stubborn or more UNDERSTANDING instead? anyway, they remind me of grungey 80's style, messy hair, teenaged dirtbag-like personality, vape clouds drifting through the hair, the smell of vanilla, marshmallow, and sugar cookies, maybe you’ll bump into them soon!
BASICS
name: jamison cosette rizzoli nickname: jamie birthday: june 26, 1993 parents: rosa and guisseppe rizzoli siblings: guisseppe jr (37), rosita (35), leo (32), twin (30), carlo (20), gino (14), melina (10), melinda (10), mikey (6), carlita (6) children: piper brookelle (14, born november 16, 2008)
APPEARANCE
hair: brunette, naturally curly (sometimes straightened and dyed blonde), hip-length eyes: brown height: 4'11" weight: 94 - 110 tattoos: canon to ariana grande piercings: three in each earlobe, an industrial in her right ear, a daithe and conch in her left ear, a nose stud, left eyebrow, tongue, bellybutton, and clitoral piercing scars: random childhood scars from falls, one on her stomach from an appendectomy, one down her left arm from getting hardware put in due to a broken arm as a child
TIDBITS
she goes by jamie and only jamie. if you call her jamison, she'll correct you. if you're still calling her jamison, she'll ignore you until you call her jamie
she's the 5th born child out of 11 kids, born 13 seconds after her twin. her siblings ages range from 6 at the youngest to 37 at the oldest and there are three sets of twins (herself and twin included)
loves having her younger siblings over for fun sleepovers
she became a mother at 15 years old. she was (and still is) friends with benefits with her best friend, they had a lapse in common sense, and piper brookelle was born roughly 10 months later on november 16th, 2008. they're still the best of friends and they co-parent really well together. they live right next door to each other and their houses are on the same property, so piper can come and go as she pleases. jamie and baby daddy have keys to each others houses and you bet your ass jamie is constantly barging in to annoy him (unless she knows he has someone over, like a hookup or a girlfriend / boyfriend / partner - she does have some respect, yanno)
her entire family has been morticians almost since the industry was invented. they've always worked out of their house, which is also a funeral parlor! the house has been handed down each generation to the new rizzoli that decided to stay in the industry, and jamie was the one that inherited it this time! her parents moved into the guest house thats in the backyard, so they're still around and still work in the parlor area, but have their own space
has gone on several dates but finds it hard to start an actual relationship with anyone because 1) she has a child and not everyone likes children and 2) she is head over hills in love with her daughter's father
although she's 30, she's still very teen-like in the way that she's free spirited and wild and carefree. jamie loves parties. those parties can get a little loud, but she's really good about shutting it down if a neighbor asks her to quiet down
very respectful, but if she gets attitude, she gives it right back and amplifies it
jamie loves kids. any kids of her friends, she automatically dubs as her nieces and nephews. she'll offer to babysit anytime
if she considers you a friend, you're her family, end of story
piper was born completely deaf in one ear and 50% deaf in the other ear, so jamie immediately got to working on learning sign language, and now she can sign in american sign language and italian sign language
she's obsessed with space, broadway musicals, all things spooky, and the human anatomy
was diagnosed with autism when she was 7. only her closest friends know about it. her diagnosis isn't super obvious, but if you know the classifications and symptoms, you might be able to tell if you watch her closely enough
she knows a little bit about a lot of things
can be pretty spontaneous. she'll burst into song out of nowhere, she'll dance in place, she'll talk to herself randomly
loves to read. she's had to buy several copies of her favorite books because she's read them so many times and they've fallen apart
her christmas tree stays up all year round. the ornaments get taken off and put away, but the tree stays lit up. it's a white fiber optic lit tree and it's her favorite decoration in the world. she even has a mini one in her bedroom as her nightlight
terrified of the dark. she doesn't like to be out past dark, but she's less stressed about it when she's with a friend
the hoest of hoes! she sleeps around. guys, gals, those that aren't either guys or gals, their moms and dads, their brothers and sisters, their best friends... if you point to someone, she can answer yes or no. "oh, him. august 7th, 2019... he had a thing about bladder control, i almost pissed my pants. dipped out, never talked to him again. my bladder has rights and she comes before i do."
don't you ever tell her that unicorns aren't real. "so we have narwhals... the unicorns of the sea... but you say actual unicorns aren't real? fake fan. we don't need your negativity."
has a little bit of red foreman in her personality
to truly sum her up... her entire personality is an 80's mixtape
she has a very mixed clothing style. sometimes she's all prepped up if she's going out somewhere nice, but on her downtime, she's usually wearing ripped jeans, converse, a grungey band tee, black lipstick and eyeshadow, and her hair is usually flying all over the place (it's down to her knees, it's hard to manage)

The Beauty of Scenic World by Night: An Illuminating Nocturnal Journey
As the sun sets below Australia's iconic mountain ranges, a new light emerges in the depths of the Blue Mountains valley. The World Heritage listed site hosted an immersive light experience like never before seen in the region. Named 'Nocturnal', this laser light encounter at the base of the world's steepest railway is a delight for all ages. Descending into the Jamison Valley on the railway, the journey begins with subtle flickers of light along the boardwalk. Nocturnal is a unique experience, a first for the Blue Mountains. Light installations and holograms bring the forest to life, showcasing creatures of the night like giant spiders and sugar gliders against the backdrop of trees, shrubs, and rock walls. Don't miss out on this extraordinary experience that will leave you in awe of the beauty of the Blue Mountains.

JAMIE DORNAN. HE/HIM / have you ever heard of WHITEHOUSE ROAD by tyler childers, well, it describes ROMAN HOPE to a tee! the thirty-eight year old, and EX MILITARY/PRIVATE SECURITY was spotted browsing through the stalls at portobello road market last sunday, do you know them? would you say HE is more closed off or more INDEPENDENT instead? anyway, they remind me of wearing sunglasses inside, long drives going nowhere, and bruised knuckles, maybe you’ll bump into them soon! [ MADDI / SHE/HER / 24 / EST]
ARIANA GRANDE. SHE / HER  / have you ever heard of GETTING NOWHERE FAST by girls at our best, well, it describes JAMISON "JAMIE" RIZZOLI to a tee! the twenty-nine year old, and MORTICIAN was spotted browsing through the stalls at portobello road market last sunday, do you know them? would you say SHE is more stubborn or more UNDERSTANDING instead? anyway, they remind me of grungey 80's style, messy hair, teenaged dirtbag-like personality, vape clouds drifting through the hair, the smell of vanilla, marshmallow, and sugar cookies, maybe you’ll bump into them soon! [ KATY / SHE/HER / 32 / CST ]
SAVANNAH LEE SMITH. SHE/HER / have you ever heard of ANTI HERO  by taylor swift well, it describes CHLOE HERNANDEZ to a tee! the twenty four year old, and BARTENDER AT HAMMOND'S PUB was spotted browsing through the stalls at portobello road market last sunday, do you know them? would you say SHE is more closed off or more KIND instead? anyway, they remind me of smiles to hide pain, coffee to get through long nights, early morning walks with an excited dog maybe you’ll bump into them soon! [ V  / SHE/HER / 33 / EST ]
